Nouveau on Young

I would NOT RECOMMEND this place. Room not ready for 3pm to check in, we had just driven 6 hours with 5 children, last thing we wanted was a room not ready 😫 Supervisor was rude and down right unprofessional about the room not being ready. Hardly would say the room was clean maybe if you're blind! Filthy foyer area and lifts have never been cleaned. Full juice bottle stashed with rubbish in the second bedroom cupboard foul. The wind on the roof of the top floor felt like it was going to rip off through the night so noisy! Overall disappointing place to stay.

Spacious penthouse & comfy beds, but that’s where the positives end. We were relocated from our original booking due to a maintenance issue. However we were never consulted or offered alternate arrangements that suited our needs. The NOY is not a great location for weekend stays. No cafes or restaurants nearby, so it was always a drive or extended walk for a meal. No hairdryer, a standard in most motels. No coat hangers, so all clothes stayed in the bag or on the floor. No soap racks, so toiletries stayed on the floor (common theme). Dirty & worn furniture, power leads and tv cords running across floor, noisy trains & no views. There was a nice deck but no bbq and only a view of a car park next door. The front balcony had a view of the train station & power pole (see photo) that is cleverly disguised in promo photos. We were also offered free parking (normally $20/nt) but street parking is free in that area on weekends. Sorry, but we won’t be back!
