We attended the mead for Christmas lunch. It was absolutely superb. An amuse bouche of 3 individual vol au vents, a starter of smoked trout, creamed cheese and caviar, followed by a very healthy portion of traditional turkey and trimmings, then a crème brûlée and a cheeseboard to end, all washed with an excellent Bacchus white. The front of house were very welcoming and bristling with bonhomie. The waiting team were outstanding and very friendly, and the chef team clearly knew what the were doing to produce such a wonderful meal. All in all an event to remember, and we will be back again.
