Just an amazing stay. Staff are all amazing, our suite was stunning. The grounds are brilliant to wander about in. Food was delicious. Spa great and we had couplesxmassage which left us feeling better than for days. All finished off the best afternoon tea there is. Could not find fault anywhere.

Beautiful room,private garden,excellent food only down side the bar was shut at 22.30 Maybe an 23.00 closing time so that guests can have a night cap. Breakfast was lovely as usual ( 3rd time of staying) Staff attentive without being in your personal space. A lovely very short break

Lovely small country hotel. Previous reviews praised the excellent service and friendly staff and we were not disappointed. This was our second stay in Juniper with our small dog and he appreciated the dog treats left for him. This a well run hotel with an excellent restaurant and welcoming atmosphere. We are returning later in the year.

I have loved this hotel for years and this was my first time visiting with my family. The rooms, atmosphere, staff and food is always amazing, but I wanted to share some comments from my 6 year old, who has been in hotels with us before, but never loved it quite like he loved this one! “I think this is a very fancy hotel mummy. Everything looks so special.” “It’s like they are doing everything just to help us feel calm and relaxed: look at me (hands behind head and leaning back in a gorgeous comfy armchair) I’m just chilling.” “This is the best porridge I’ve ever had and I love the buffet. Can I stay here all day and eat?” (The mushrooms are my personal favourite; there are a wide range of quality options- best hotel breakfast ever). “I want to live here actually please. Can I move in?” We stayed in Sweet Chestnut - the cottage. The staff were so friendly and brilliant with him and he (and we) can’t wait to visit again: it gets better every time!

Our Christmas break was lovely. In a beautiful setting.The Meads food was superb in every detail from Christmas eve to Boxing day. Taste and presentation were excellent. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The serving of Christmas lunch was such a smooth operation with so many covers to cater for. We did mention that the room was lovely but could be updated which they said was in hand. Well done. We would certainly return again. Thoroughly recommended.

We attended the mead for Christmas lunch. It was absolutely superb. An amuse bouche of 3 individual vol au vents, a starter of smoked trout, creamed cheese and caviar, followed by a very healthy portion of traditional turkey and trimmings, then a crème brûlée and a cheeseboard to end, all washed with an excellent Bacchus white. The front of house were very welcoming and bristling with bonhomie. The waiting team were outstanding and very friendly, and the chef team clearly knew what the were doing to produce such a wonderful meal. All in all an event to remember, and we will be back again.

We attended one of the Christmas Party nights on 13th December with friends & family. Personally, my first time at Norfolk Mead but everyone else had been for a meal or stayed. The evening was excellent and the food was amazing, considering the amount of people that attended, all the food tasted amazing and the service was spot on. We will defiantly be attending again next year. Thank you to the lovely team for an excellent evening.

We came for a 70th birthday celebration in a private room for Sunday lunch. The settings here are lovely and my wife has been here several times for the spa treatment in the past, with more being planned allegedly! Our food on the day was really delicious and there was plenty on our plates. The service was excellent and although our host paid for this, we would have gladly paid ourselves. Cost of a two course meal is very reasonable so we will be coming again. We can see why the Mead has such a high rating, please keep it up!

We have been coming to the Norfolk Mead hotel for over 40 years and just love it here. We always stay in our favourite room, which has a view over the garden. Our last trip was for two nights. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent with a very good choice, when you can’t decide which to choose, that’s always a great sign. Looking forward to returning soon.
