Hotel in zona Toys Hopík s.r.o. - Toys, stationery, creative and school supplies, Brno

Advantages - location - pretty close to the city center, good calm area - small hotel – not too many guests - cozy rooms - decent breakfasts – for its price - friendly personnel trying to help in any situation Drawbacks - “tired” interiors – it seems like most of the rooms require some renovation - problems with AC which was critical for us in Brno in June (30+ C outside) - lack of flexibility from the hotel’s management side I need to explain 2 last points. We were in Brno in June 2023 because of health treatment and didn’t know how long it would last, so we booked 6 non-refundable days in this hotel. We specifically chose hotel, not Airbnb, because we were familiar with local summer and wanted to have a room with AC. However, when we checked-in, it turned out that AC in our room doesn’t work which we hadn’t being told. Then it turned out that there was a big ACs replacement in the hotel at that time (without any notification during or after booking). We managed to get another room on the second night, and at the same got information from the clinic that we may go home after day 3. Via Booking we asked for partial refund because of the inconveniences with AC and partly because we checked-out after 3 nights while paid for 6. After that , I experienced 3 or 4 months (!!) of correspondence with Booking and the hotel management which from the very beginning was ready to refund but always had some technical problems, and in the end just disappeared. Lot of waisted time. Strongly do not recommend, as, unfortunately, with all the advantages I mentioned above , general impression is negative.

Hotel moderno, camere tranquille, ottima colazione e MOLTO vicino alle piazze del centro. Cosa si può chiedere di più? Il personale è stato utile per qualsiasi domanda avessimo. Se avessi l'opportunità di viaggiare di nuovo a Brno, soggiorneremmo sicuramente qui! Grazie per un'esperienza meravigliosa.

Hotel confortevole e tranquillo situato convenientemente a pochi passi dal centro di Brno. La camera era spaziosa e la colazione deliziosa. Il bar era aperto fino a tardi e serviva bevande calde e alcolici. Il personale è stato cordiale e disponibile. Lo consiglio.

La posizione dell'hotel è molto buona. Molto facile da andare intorno alla piazza. La camera si sentiva come una rinnovazione di un vecchio palazzo, e le cose del bagno erano solo gel di doccia e shampoo, c’era un frigorifero, ma era piena di diverse cose in forma di minibar, e c’era una macchina espresso, ma era pagata. La colazione era deliziosa. Il Wi-Fi è molto lento e non catturato secondo la posizione all'interno della stanza. La cassaforte con la chiave è la prima primavera.

sicuramente meriterebbe le cinque stelle se la colazione fosse migliore per il resto non ha difetti stanze grandi accoglienti pulitissime, personale ottimo, unico neo.. la colazione.. a mio avviso migliorabile.. molto fornita ma non all'altezza dell'hotel manca di gusto.. e organizzata malamente.. camerieri che gironzolano senza sapere il da farsi... vedremo in seguito se ci saranno dei cambiamenti ahh dimenticavo posizione invidiabile centro pieno con lo spilbrerg come panorama

Questo ostello era un incubo e credetemi - non sono una principessa e le mie aspettative erano basse. La stanza era sporca con tappeti che non hanno visto pulizia del vuoto per molto tempo. C'era un frigo, ma l'uomo, era così disgustoso. Le docce erano fugate, non c'era posto per mettere le tue cose quando si lavava, l'acqua nel bagno era fredda e non c'erano asciugamani di carta. La cucina è ben attrezzata. Il Wi-Fi non funzionava. La parte peggiore è che non ho mai incontrato degli ospiti così inconsiderati. C'è qualcosa di ombrello su questo posto. I bambini ubriachi urlando in mezzo alla notte, la gente continuamente a baciare la porta o un uomo che parlava con qualcuno al altoparlante per due ore a mezzanotte in cucina (?!) rendeva impossibile dormire e un soggiorno insopportabile. Non è colpa dell'ostello, ma aggiunge a questa poca esperienza e penso che la mancanza di 24/7 ricezione non aiuta nemmeno. Tutti fanno quello che vogliono e non si preoccupano di niente. Inoltre, così tante persone scrivono che l'ascensore non funzionava durante il loro soggiorno. Mi fa pensare se funziona? Anche adesso era fuori ordine. Non lo consiglierei a nessuno. E il prezzo non è così grande, ho visto molti posti più economici e migliori.

Situazione perfetta per esplorare il centro della città. Personale è stato gentile. Le camere erano moderne con aria condizionata e il più grande e più confortevole letto che abbia mai trovato in un hotel. Il colazione era sufficiente, ma non è incredibile, ma per il lancio del giorno è più di ok. La cauzione è abbastanza alta per 3 notti con oltre 400 euro. Il parcheggio in loco non è stato possibile e i prezzi di parcheggio dell'hotel sono relativamente elevati, anche nelle zone A e B i prezzi di parcheggio non sono di grado economico. Sabato e domenica, il parcheggio nella zona B è gratuito, ma questo ha risolto il problema in modo soddisfacente per noi. Un hotel molto bello che si occupa delle stelle.

L'hotel è molto grande, l'ambiente è buono. Pensavo che il Brno fosse molto economico. Non pensavo fosse più costoso di Praga. Qui 120 euro una notte, ma la colazione è molto buona. La uscita è più conveniente.

Albergo aperto con un tram vicino che vi porta alla vecchia città in 10 minuti. Il castello di Špilberk può essere visto dal balcone. Parcheggio gratuito sulla strada. Buon menu di cena a Natale al ristorante.

We had booked a room for three adult people. When we got there, there was only one prepared bed with only one duvet! We talked to a woman in the reception, and it is by far the worst hotel service we have ever experienced! At this point it was almost midnight and the response we got was that she did not know where the bedding and sheets were kept. She had us follow her and after a while she found only one duvet and one sheet for this duvet. She handed it to us like so, not prepared, and when asked she said to us: “Does it look like I do that type of work here?”. After this we went back to the reception as this was completely unacceptable treatment from a receptionist at a well known hotel chain. She was not solution oriented AT ALL. She told us there were not any other available rooms. She never apologized. She would not give her full name , and said that she was quitting her job here. She told us she hade never been in this type of situation before. She told us she had no one to ask for help and that the people who work here during the day, and who would know where the bedding we needed were, were not here at this time of the day. She told us she was not hiding the bedding from us, that she sincerely did not know where it was. We did not get the room prepared as we had booked it. She even asked us what WE (!!) thought she should do. She said that the only option she saw was to give us back our money and that we could leave the hotel, at 00:30 at night (!!!!). Outrageous!!! We were all so dumbfounded and shocked by this completely unacceptable way of treating your clients that we absolutely considered to pack up and leave. After some time of talking and being dumbfounded by this TERRIBLE service she suddenly said the she could separate us and give us one more room. We accepted this and that was it. We are going to take action after this and call the director of the hotel and tell him about this experience. This is the absolute worst service experience we have ever experienced. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! And SHOCKING as this is a known hotel chain with great reviews! I am still lost for words, as I also was after talking to that terrible employee with no service skills to say the least.
