We stayed on board The Golden Hind for one night. My two little ones aged 2 and 3 had THE BEST experience. There are two cabins, one with bunk beds and pirate themed bedding and a gorgeous adult room with king sized bed and huge tv. We slept wonderfully. A treasure hunt was provided which was so much fun for little ones (and adults) we got a takeaway and ate at the outside table admiring the view. It is such a fantastic experience and I would 100% recommend an overnight stay on board.

The location of thos Hotel is perfect,in easy walking distance of the town. The food is excellent. Great hotel bar. The only negative was the stairs to the bedrooms. It is very difficult when carrying suitcases. Hopefully, that will be improved during the renovation as we will be back.

Great location just a short walk to the harbour, town, bars and restaurants - but it is up hill. Has private car park but is a 5 minute walk away, you can unload outside and pick up the barrier access card. Small bar and lounge. Restaurant is good but recently close on Monday and Tuesday nights (may stay open all week in main season). We had a harbour view room, small but nice. Bathroom a but tired and floor boards very cheeky. There is no lift and stairs are steep but this is expected as the hotel was originally 6 fishing cottages, just be aware if you have any mobility issues. Staff were great, breakfast lovely.

Nice little harbour town, you can visit the museum on the Golden Hind or o a bit if crabbing. The walk up to the lighthouse is stunning. Very easy to find your way around with the bus station close by.

My partner and I had a lovely stay. We booked a room with an estuary view, but we would have preferred being on the 1st floor to get an even better view. We both felt the food was amazing and it is purely the reason why I have given a 5 star. Both the evening meal and breakfast were delicious and I would recommend you visit due to this. The spa isn’t anything to write home about but it was sufficient for our stay.

This hotel would seriously benefit from a re-vamp, everywhere appeared very tired. We stayed in room 20, with magnificent views over the harbour. Other nice little touches were robes, a fridge with bottled water in it, but sadly the room could do with a makeover and the bathroom updated. Our opinion was that the room was overpriced at £150, off peak! The breakfast was very average, which arrived cold and we had to send it back. The replacement breakfasts were acceptable, but the produce were of a cheap cafe standard. We are unlikely to stay again at this hotel.

A lovely quirky room with a wonderful view over the Harbour. The food was delicious - very generous servings and fresh and well cooked dinner and breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and we would definitely stay again.

We had another New Year celebration at the Quayside Hotel having been several times. The service was excellent all of the staff , Debbie, Earl, Vicky , Chef and waiters, were amazing they work so hard are always pleased that you have returned .In Ernie Listers the same applies to the staff in there the service is second to none , Megan and her team were brilliant . We had an excellent New Year thank you everyone . We hope that the new owners realise what gems you all are. Pauline and Kate Bristol

It is hard to imagine how you could get a better view of Brixham than the one from room 20. The breakfast was exceptionally good though it was disappointing that haddock was not available on both mornings. The evening meal was very traditional.
