I was at Casa de Olas the first week of March for 7 nights for the most incredible yoga retreat led by Wade Gotwals. The hotel staff was so helpful - especially Moni the bartender. We loved seeing what her cocktail of the day would be each afternoon. They were on top of the cleanliness and always so friendly. Location is perfect too - just a couple of blocks from the main ***** and the beach but not too close so it felt like we were in our own little world. The yoga palapa was truly something special with the ocean breeze and sunlight coming in as well. Can’t wait to come back and do it all over again!

Casa de Olas surpassed my expectations. The ideal location is just a short walk to the beach and town and is situated on a quiet street. The property and staff are all-around wonderful: beautiful and clean pool, lots of comfy places to lounge, delicious ceviche from the restaurant, comfortable rooms and beds. Highly recommend this gem!

This charming little boutique hotel was an unforgettable experience! Its friendly and accommodating staff was always providing us with whatever we needed. The pool is simply stunning! Although it could benefit from a few more chairs around, the overall ambiance is breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay!

Room smelled like sewage and they couldn’t change my room even though I asked before trip My clothes held stain and I had to buy new clothes. Disgusting Don’t know how this place gets such good reviews Service at bar very nice They wouldn’t let me check in 10 minutes prior to 3pm I would never stay here again Best part of hotel is tennis court

Casa de las olas was the perfect getaway for us to explore Puerto Escondido and also relax at the property. The upstairs views are great and the bartenders Moni & Raque are excellent! Amazing sunsets, drinks, food, and all around vibes. Highly recommend.

i absolutely love staying here when i come to puerto. staff is super kind and helpful and the facilities are clean and comfortable. the only perk i see is that the wifi is very slow but it mostly works well in the pool area

I absolutely loved Casa De Olas when we had our yoga retreat there in March 2024. The staff was kind and conscientious. The resort, rooms and studio spaces were fantastic. Located only a couple blocks from an amazing beach, we were able to enjoy privacy at Casa de Olas while seamlessly being able to enjoy the culture of the area anytime. We are heading back next year! Thank you for having us!

I took a large group of Yogis on retreat for a week at Casa De Olas and we had an amazing time! The staff was really nice with some English speakers that helped with organization, the facilities were great and the yoga shala was perfect for our group of 30. We will be back!
