"Super happy with our experience here, the buildings exterior is certainly showing signs of age, but internally, it is up to par, the buffet breakfast is excellent, and staff are very helpful and friendly. Room rates are good and local restaurants are fantastic. Also there is a coles super market a couple of min walk away. Very happy all round. "Non rimarremo a Aerotel Sydney. Il letto doppio è in alto contro un muro, quindi se qualcuno vuole uscire durante la notte, deve salire sull'altro! Il letto era molto alto e molto difficile da entrare. A 65 e 70 anni non è quello che ci aspettavamo o volevamo. Non ci sono finestre. Non abbiamo dormito molto. Abbiamo finito ”topping and scalping”. Eravamo anche turbati da un gran numero di rumore all'interno dell'hotel. Anche se è solo una breve passeggiata verso la zona di partenza, non è sufficiente per superare le enormi svantaggi della stanza e del parcheggio. La nostra camera per le 6 valigie era insufficiente, quindi doveva essere conservata dietro la ricezione. Fortunatamente la ricezione è mantenuta 24 ore al giorno."

"Impressive lobby. Nice restaurant and bar. Front desk is polite & efficient if somewhat cold and robotic. Rooms are not sound proofed from the outside- stayed on the 4th level in a deluxe room- windows weren't double glazed and seal was poor- traffic & street noise audible and disruptive to sleep. Draft coming in from the poorly sealed windows can be felt. Otherwise the room was reasonably comfortable- bedding was comfy, the usual amenities and large enough TV screen. The bathroom was cramped and small, just functional. Overall, not sure if I will return again given the poor soundproofing of the rooms. The only advantage is its proximity to the international airport terminal. Otherwise just an average stay."

"The room is very clean and big, and it’s just on the opposite side of the international terminal. It was super convenient!!! The staff also very nice to me, since I don’t want to have the corner room, they offered me another room! Thanks a lot! And the wifi was so good, I managed to do some work before my flight."

"We stayed at Mantra because it's about a 15-min easy walk to T3 at the airport, and safe even at 5am (at least there happened to be other walkers with us, so we felt fine). The room was definitely sparse, no frills, but we got there at 9pm and were leaving at 5am. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and nice, but the bartender older woman with short hair was very unfriendly when we asked for our water bottle to be refilled. The front desk guy had indicated that was where water bottles were refilled, so maybe there was a miscommunication, but she refused and then fumed about it to other coworkers."

"Great location beside Airport, Krispy Crème, other fast food places. Friendly staff, rooms clean. Should offer free water in rooms. All hotels should. Down fall, got woken by evacuation alarm as some muppet didn’t pay attention to sign showering & steam let smoke alarm off. Not nice once you’re already asleep. Took hours to get back to sleep for 1.5hrs before getting up for flight….So not the best experience unfortunately! For an Uber to terminal it’s $50…. But we paid $12 for a shuttle bus, leaves 5am sharp… book & pay night before via reception desk! Great price for location. Has a laundry as well as lounge area / dining tables for guests. No food service there but plenty around area."

"Very convenient and easy to walk to in about 15 minutes from the domestic terminal with a few roads to cross. Room was very spacious, clean and comfy. Well stocked mini bar and usual room service menu for a hotel like this. Downsides were only one extra pillow and no extra blankets in the cupboard and a terrible button in the wall push (not a dual flush) toilet. Took the hotel bus back at 5am for a 6am flight for $12 which is expensive for a 4 minute journey but necessary for such an early flight. Left dead on time and very helpful driver."
