In one word, poor. Owner very abrupt, wod be considered rude to majority of people. We had, what can only be described as an attic. Small, poky and very outdated. OK for one night, which thankfully we were! In the morning we attempted a shower, ice cold and so thought would at least have a wash. No water at all through hot tap. Mentioned it at breakfast to owner, he said it had never happened before and went upstairs to check. Came back down and said he got soaked switching the shower on and the water in the sink was red hot??? I said perhaps it was because people on lower floors were using the amenities at the same time. He said again its not happened before and anyway its working now! Breakfast was OK, nothing special and the coffee was shocking! Definitely not a 4 star, a one or a two at the most. Overpriced and won't be returning or recommending.

I stayed at The Brockton Hotel between Sunday 4th - Sunday 11th August 2024. I booked my room at very short notice on Saturday 3rd August and the proprietor Phil immediately returned my call within 5 minutes. From my arrival I was made to feel very welcome at this family run hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and had more than the the usual facilities and amenities. The common areas of the hotel are extensive and spacious. The morning full English Breakfast was superb and cooked to a very high standard. There is a well-stocked and pleasant bar for relaxation in the evening. I would like to thank Phil and Kate for their hospitality and providing such excellent accommodation and service. Nothing was too much trouble. It was so good that I extended my three day stay to seven days. I would highly recommend this establishment for anyone staying in Bridlington and certainly hope to return.

Very warm welcome. Traveled alone but didn't feel alone in Brockton Hotel, because Philip and Kate were so friendly. I had dietary problems, and they were very helpful. I am hoping to go back. The Hotel was very clean. A very short walk to the seafront

Had a nice 4 night stay at THE BROCKTON in Bridlington Phil & Kate the owners are a lovely couple Both of them will do anything to help you Just them it was done straight away. The Breakfast was Great Good security nice and clean i can recommend a stay there Thank you both again YOUR mick & sylvia mccall room 2

My husband and I booked via Booking. Com. We were meant to stay in Nov 23 but we needed to change our dates. This was refused and the full payment was taken. Just be warned when considering this hotel that they won't accommodate any change of date. They ignored a request via my booking on the site. I phoned a few times before I got a rude refusal, and a mocking laugh when I said I'd contact *********** about it. Booking. com give conflicting info as their FAQs page says "changed can be made to your booking from your confirmation email - check in/out times... Change dates..." What they do not state clearly is that not all hotels allow this. When you book on a phone it's not obvious to see this policy. Be warned.

The hosts Phil and Kate (and family) were really friendly Everything was spot on we has a family room never seen a big b.room as big absolutely brilliant booked again for next year lovely holiday

We booked two rooms for two nights. My mother in law stayed in a twin with a sea view and we stopping in a ground floor room at the side of the building. We were greeted by Phil the owner who was very welcoming. The rooms had tea and coffee making facilities and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the towels were changed daily. Breakfast was very nice. The full English was delicious. There was a full range of cereals milk and orange juice. The location is in a nice quiet street a short walk from the town and 1 min from the beach. We had to park on the street as the spaces on the drive were taken but it’s free so no problems. I would stay there again and would recommend The Brockton. Keep up the good work.
