Hotel needed some modernisation

The hotel is only ok, despite being refurbed by its current owners (Harrison Leisure Group) The rooms are clean, it's cheap and cheerful. What makes it a good experience (despite not offering breakfast) is the enthusiasm of Kirsty (who checked me in, and showed me to my room). Her bubbly enthusiasm, and obvious love for the place, is something that money can't buy. Harrison Leisure take note, your employees are the front face of your group, look after them. Karaoke is my thing, so I had a great time (thanks Micky Dee)......and I'd be happy to stay there again......as a solo traveller. Keep smiling. 🙂

Went in here on Tuesday 9th July for drinks. Asked about Jamie the DJ, the landlord behind the bar was arrogant & ignorant, very rude. Told me that Jamie had moved elsewhere but would'nt say where. Ignorant man, stay away at all costs........

To be honest I have never stopped in a place as worse, £75 a night, maybe should have been half that. Room was small, dirty, duvet had fluff hanging out of the bottom of it, no hot water, ran it for ages, ya sat on the toilet and it all moved, didn't even shower, cos of mould round the base. Carper looked like it had been cut with scissors to fit in the room. Also odd stains on it. Bar area was decent, barmaid very Plesent and chatty, bar shut round 9.30pm, so had to go elsewhere. I'm not one for ripping hotels, I have stopped in many in my time, but I'm sorry this place needs money spending on the rooms to get to a good standard, I've paid this kind of money in other hotels and they have been at a good standard. So it's the 👎 for me, avoid.

Dirty minging dump! Staircase out of 1970 horror film and filthy! Rooms were filthy, noise was unreal... If this was on four in a bed no one would have paid! Complete rip off MANKY!!! Beds cheap crap windows filthy, shower filthy, carpet filthy, just a complete dump and £80.....

Great, warm friendly place to stay and very close to the promenade and beach activities, my Daughter loved staying here with me. Bev is a great landlord and is very friendly host. We stayed in room 4 which had a nice view down the high street with a Large bay window with plenty of sunlight.
