Clean, friendly, and spacious. Newly renovated, modern lobby, pool, and hottub. Perfect for a short stay to visit colleges in the area. Continental breakfast provided. Shout out to Visaal at the front desk, who went out of his way with friendly service upon arrival after a long car ride.

Spent one night here. Upon arrival at hotel room key card system was not operating so if we left the room the front desk clerk had to manually let us in every time. Very annoying. Room was ok clean and functional. Breakfast dreadful. Microwave stuff as kitchen supposedly under renovation. Overall not very good and poor vlue for money. Not recommended.

We stayed one night and just about everything as expected...normal good quality. One minor is the kitchen was being remodeled, so the breakfast was limited to grab-and-go type items. Front desk said it should be done by mid-July, but it has been going on for 4 weeks already. One comment which is common to several hotels we have stayed at recently. Hotels have been trying to catch up with the explosion of personal devices people travel with. Many have installed extra plus on the night stands and desks. However, some have gone as far as installing only USB-A ports on clocks and lamps. That would be excellent except technology is moving to the USB-C ports, which aren't compatible. Thanks for trying to keep up, but installing more plain electrical plug sockets would solve trying to keep up with technology changes.

Great stay again in Wheeling. Our family stayed one night before a race in Wheeling and enjoyed the accommodations. Dwayne was super helpful the evening of our stay and we were able to eat our take out in the lobby. The room is spacious and comfortable for our family of 3. Will be back!

Excellent experience! Very cool location with a friendly staff. Very close to everything. As you can see through the photos it is very clean, organized and pristine. Rooms come with tiny living room and very time kitchen. Complimentary breakfast, enjoy your stay!

We booked a room for a Sunday night. The hotel wasn't busy. Front desk assigned us a rm. However when we got up in the morning , we were unable to take a shower. The water temperature was either scalding hot or freezing cold. We finally gave up and did a quick wash up in the sink. We went down to front desk to report it and that front desk clerk said...I thought we got this fixed in Fri ( which was 2 days prior to our check in). So they were aware there was an issue with this on that room. She said someone would be in contact with us. Waited a few days and decided to email the hotel. A supervisor responded and said since I had booked through a third party(priceline), there was nothing Marriott could do. Since I wasn't happy with this answer , I forwarded my complaint to the GM, Chris Heaton. He told me that he would reach out to Priceline and get back to me. Well two weeks go by and no attempt to reach out to me by this GM. So I contacted Priceline and they issued me a 50 pct discount. I Still have not heard back from the GM and I had to reach out to Priceline on my own. What bothers me is Marriott is refusing to accept that Priceline booked me the room but Marriott neglected to provide me with the services they promised. I am not blaming Priceline. But Marriott is neglect in providing a basic service for that room. On top of this, when we Checked in, I asked the clerk if I could still have my points for Marriott even if I had booked through priceline added and she assured me Yes that was possible. But then while doing all this leg work with the water issue , I find out that Marriott would not add those points fir that stay..And here's the shocker....if you have no activity for 2 years with Marriott they will expire your points. So all 11000 of my points expired in Nov 23. Very disappointed with how Marriott handled this. Especially since Marriott is considered to be a topnotch hotel!! Shame on you Marriott for a really poor customer service .

This hotel is better than average but there is no good rating. The night clerk that greeted us was awesome - super friendly. The room was clean and functional. This property is just older and a bit tired. Really good for what we used it for, just a sleep on a long road trip. Again, nothing wrong here at all- nice road stay, just a good basic property

My first time to the area, to attend a funeral. Arrived mid-afternoon to a warm welcome at the front desk by Josh. Found that the corridors were well lit; my double queen room was well supplied with amenities, had a separate sitting area and a nice view of the college football field. The bedding was super comfortable! I left later in the afternoon and returned in the evening late to find Josh at the front desk both times to greet me. He was strumming his guitar which was especially nice to hear. I wound up staying in the lobby a few minutes just to listen. The next morning a hot and cold breakfast buffet was provided which had everything you could want. And Josh was at the front desk yet again... does he ever go home? He was serenading the breakfast guests and everyone seemed to enjoy it with smiles on their faces. He was greeting everyone as they passed by. I don't think I've ever encountered a nicer front desk agent in all my travels - and I'm flying every other month someplace. This guy is a Rockstar! I sure hope he gets the recognition from his employer- he deserves a raise 👏

Not what I was expecting for a Marriott sister hotel. Upon arrival, air conditioning in the lobby and hallways was not working correctly. I understand this happens, but it didn't seem to get better as we stayed a couple of days. Trundle bed had crumps all over it, so we shared the beds. No extra blanket, sheets, or pillow in room for the trundle. The ice machine on the 1st floor was not operating. Trip to 2nd floor for ice. The pool was not clean, and neither was the hot tub. Women's bathroom by pool had no hand soap and was not cleaned for over 24 hours. Trash in and around pool area and outside tables was not cleaned up in a timely manner. No towels in pool area. There seems to be an issue with condensation in the bathrooms by the pool and the fitness center. It could be that they leave the doors to the laundry facility open when doing laundry combined with inadequate air conditioning. What they got right...room was clean except for trundle bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pillows were fluffy, bed was comfy. Brand of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was very nice and smelled great! Air conditioning in the room worked wonderfully. Overall, would not recommend if you are accustomed to staying at 4-5 star hotels. This one needs some work.
