Hotel in zona Svihra Park, Bridgeport

Me and my wife did an overnight at the Circle Hotel Fairfield while attending a local event. The service people at the front desk were very nice and helpful, and there was someone staffing it overnight. They were also training new staff while we were there, but there was always someone experienced there to ensure good service. We had a dual-queen sized room as it was what fit our budget with the Trip.com discounts. We stayed in building 2 which is a very short walk from the main building. The room was spacious, basic but nicely enough decorated, and nicely clean-enough, though the toilet seat had been through some things and maintenance should have replaced it, but it wasn't broken. I let the front desk know and they said they'd have it addressed. The room had basic amenities (2 free bottles of water was nice), coffee maker, Ironing board iiron, soap, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, tissue box, etc. A closet with a few hangers It could have used more hangers and it would have been nice to have a suitcase stand. No dresser/drawers, and no phone. There was a serviceable mini-fridge. We didn't use the TV so I can't comment on it. There wasn't a book with local businesses listed or deals for them, etc. The front desk area has a little shop you can buy overpriced neccesities and drinks. There's a pool out back that looks nice. There's also a nice lounge area inside and chairs/tables to relax outside out back. There was a decent breakfast layout, but it's mostly a variety of bread stuffs/carbs - not diabetic or keto friendly. They did have hard boiled eggs, fruit, and hot cereal packets so there are meager non-carb options. There was also cereals, sugar-sweetend yogurts, and a variety of drinks including coffee and juices. The make-it-yourself waffles were a nice touch. I would have liked bacon or sausage, but overall for the room rate it was a nice breakfast layout. We'd ordered food at night from Seamless and got a delivery to our room door with no problem. Note: Restaurants close early in the area, but there's a nearby 24hr McDonalds that's drive-through and order-only after 10pm. There's also a decent diner open right next to the hotel during the day. And shopping center across the road. If you don't feel like driving, the local main street bus stops right in front of the hotel on either side of the street going in both directions. Great if you're checking out the local brewery, which also has good food and was an A+ experience. Just make sure you have quarters for the bus. $1.75 per person gives you a 2-hour ”unlimited” pass to use the local busses in either direction. Overall, we liked our stay and would stay again in the future if the price is right. Compared to our experiences with similar hotels, under $140 was just right for our room as they had minimal business and it was nicely quiet. If they were busier, I'd expect $100 to $120 deal, and very busy, maybe less.. If I can think of anything else I'll update my review. I hope it helps!

Da DC, devo dire, sono stato sconvolto.Voglio dire, è Marriott. Carpete spezzate, strisce in tutto il muro, polvere nera intorno al mio tubo, polvere nera raccolta sulle pareti della mia stanza, il mio bollo morto non ha chiuso, la mia sedia non si è spruzzata, e i punti erano sul carpete e sui mobili, L’hotel era troppo ubriaco con i genitori ubriachi, e molti bambini giocavano a hockey, correvano indietro e avanti attraverso l’hotel, salire in tutto il mobilio. Per $185/notte, ho appena trovato tutto questo inaccettabile. Ho lavorato alberghi nella mia carriera, e non troverete mai nessun hotel che sia un Marriott in questa condizione nella zona della metropolitana DC. Ero davvero deluso, e vergognato per Marriott!

Il personale era molto amichevole il colazione era buono e mi piaceva che avessero lavanderia per gli ospiti, ma solo la bagno poteva essere un po' più pulita ho visto un po' di molle nei corni e le matite craccate.La posizione era fantastica vicino all'autostrada che mi rendeva facile trovare.Mi sentivo molto sicuro che la parte esterna della proprietà era ben accennata.Visitavo bene questo posto di nuovo.

L'hotel era in genere buono, ma mi sconvolgeva un paio di problemi. Sono amichevole e ci hanno trovato un'altra stanza anche se l'hotel era pieno, ma mi sorprendeva molto al check-out per scoprire che il mio tasso è aumentato $130 quando abbiamo cambiato le stanze perché il loro sistema informatico l'ha ripristato. La ripararono immediatamente, ma se non avessi controllato la legge, saremmo stati sovraccaricati da molti e pensavo che avrebbero potuto fare di più per la sventura che per darci qualche punto Bonvoy. Da parte positiva, i letti erano molto confortevoli e le camere erano pulite, che sono due delle caratteristiche più importanti di un hotel di questa natura.

Always great to stay in Residence Inn!

We stayed in two rooms and were very disappointed at this hotel. We have stayed at many Courtyard/ Marriott properties and this one was one of, if not the poorest maintained. The reservation was made a month ahead of our stay and because of all the graduations (reason for our trip) the hotel charged exorbitant prices for poor facilities. They also had no compassion for our plight as we had to change our booked hotel because two months after making our reservation they went pet-friendly (all Hiltons) and I have severe allergies. The front desk person was very friendly and efficient-appreciated after a long day. The issue started with a minor annoyance- no floor readout in the elevator and progressed to filthy carpets and banged up walls and renovation equipment in the hall . The halls and elevators were also extremely HOT. Our rooms were not any better- nasty stains all over the carpet and sofa, mold and a missing tile in the bathroom. The grab rail in the shower was loose and the toilet was so low that a child would best fit it. No water pressure in the shower. The A/C was also extremely loud. I realize that many of these items will be taken care of during the renovation, however to charge $350/night for a room in this condition is criminal. To top it off, unlike most hotels in this and other chains, there was no included breakfast or courtesy bottled water for rewards members. Also, in the morning all the elevators were being used by the construction and cleaning people so we had to use the stairs to go out to get food. Word of warning if you are still considering staying here in the near future… the construction is a couple rooms at a time on a guest floor and they not only hog the elevator at check out time but noise starts at 9am so don’t think of sleeping in. Why aren’t they doing a floor at a time so they could leave their equipment out of the way and free up the elevators.

Stai in questo hotel per una notte quando viaggia attraverso la zona. La posizione è eccellente. Vicino a Norwalk e qualsiasi cosa ti serve nella zona. Inoltre, vicino accesso a NYC e al resto della CT. Il soggiorno era in tempo per quello che si aspettava da un giardino, la stanza era pulita e il personale era molto utile sia al check-in che all'uscita. Le uniche questioni erano le pile non erano le più comode e i controlli della temperatura ambiente sembravano avere un modo di dormire che ha sparato in qualche punto e ha causato la temperatura ambiente più caldo di quanto ci piacesse. Questo potrebbe essere stato specifico per la stanza e non ha causato un problema importante con il nostro soggiorno. In generale rimarremo assolutamente qui. Sicuramente consigliamo questo hotel.

Direi che ottieni quello per cui paghi, ma non sarebbe vero, ho pagato troppo per quello che ho ottenuto. non si sono dimenticati di dirmi della tassa di pulizia di $ 200 se ti beccano a fumare nella stanza, ma non appena apri la porta della stanza puzza come un posacenere bagnato. i bagni sono troppo piccoli con le stampelle ed era quasi impossibile scopare e fare la doccia.
