Hotel con colazione a Anchorage

Ci è piaciuto il modo in cui la camera era pulita e la piscina puzzava di cloro ed era pulita a differenza di altri hotel in cui siamo stati. Ma l'addetto alla reception era molto scortese. Ho provato a fare il check-in un paio di minuti prima e lei ha detto solo che non vedo il tuo nome da nessuna parte e praticamente mi ha lasciato solo un'opzione per partire e tornare più tardi. Quindi, invece di essere amichevole, era contraria e mi ha fatto sentire non voluta lì. Ma siamo rimasti comunque. E la colazione faceva davvero schifo! Il COVID li ha fatti sentire come se potessero trattare le persone come volevano.

L'hotel è situato a metà città, ci sono molti ristoranti intorno a lui. L'angolo opposto è il Museo di Anclays. Ci sono dieci minuti a piedi per il sentiero marittimo.La colazione è deliziosa, la stanza è grande e molto comoda.

Abbiamo goduto il nostro soggiorno veloce - apprezzo il personale amichevole e la pulizia delle camere e delle aree di lobby.

Anche se l'hotel è molto vecchio, la stanza è grande, due letti 1.5 metri, la stanza è anche molto pulita, l'allora ha un bagno, fornitura gratuita di acqua calda, sacchetto e caffè, l'hotel offre anche un servizio di trasporto gratuito. È molto soddisfatto del soggiorno, è sentire che il prezzo della casa è un po'prezioso!

Booked and paid in full online. They have our credit card on file. Didn’t expect they want to charge extra money for room deposit. No problem we can handle the additional payment except Their machine didn’t work scanning my Apple Pay. The older lady was rude and told us we couldn’t stay. That was not our fault. It really hurts! they should fix their machine problem first rather than blaming customer. Finally the younger staff on training figured out how to charge my Apple Card by keying in the numbers. Overall check in was not as friendly and professional as it should be. Breakfast was okay, oatmeal was not done correctly super dry, a simple fix is adding a bit water , yet no one cared. Eggs are not real , artificial eggs. Just a bit disappointed. Rooms are warm and bathrooms is clean.

This hotel has seen better days in its multi-decade existence. It has gone through some renovations and name changes, but still seems to be in transition as we walked through the third floor paint fumes (half of the floor was being painted while still having guests on the floor) to our room at the end of an extremely long corridor. It seems understaffed and whatever staff they do have are wearing multiple hats and running around or in training. We encountered a spectrum of personalities from sweet to terse to neutral in their customer service/reception area. Their booking system is also a bit unclear. I got emails for ”pre check-in” and ”set checkout” which seemed fine, but I had selected a cocktail pack at the pre check-in and input my credit card information but was not charged for it. If my CC isn't going to be charged at that point, why should I have to enter my CC information at all? It should be noted that these are ”requests” the front desk can choose to fulfill for the guest or not. They still asked for a CC to be put on file for incidentals too, during in-person check-in, so online ”pre check-in” just seems pointless. We had booked our multi night stay on the Trip app and it did have us prepay but also said there would be a $89 charge at the hotel for four nights. We later learned it was a ~22 bucks ”resort fee” for our stay per night. I guess the resort fee includes the amenities of free water and free shuttle service? Breakfast wasn't included for our booking. The person checking us in even charged a $$$$ deposit amount larger than the cost of our 4 nights there, so I hope they are more careful on other security deposit charges, in the future. On another note, the 24/7 airport shuttle was great and the downtown shuttle service was excellent. Their free shuttle service is definitely a highlight. Kind drivers also -- lovely service from all the drivers we met and always helped us with our bags and directions. Big appreciation for the shuttle vans and drivers! Free water (2 bottles per guest per day) included at the front desk, which you have to make sure to grab yourself, as there was no ”deliver to room” option during our stay. The outdated facilities are somewhat maintained, as we had slow drainage in our shower tub and slow drainage in our toilet that nearly led to a clog. Luckily, the maintenance team was able to remedy that after our first night. We stayed 4 nights in total, but that first night was rough. Going forward, I would recommend this place for someone seeking adventure in a property that is next to a beautiful lake with cool seaplanes and a nice lobby full of taxidermy and doesn't mind the potentially tumultuous reception or dated bathroom.

La dimensione della stanza è giusta, l'igiene è ok. Dà la stanza sul bordo del primo piano, probabilmente anche la stanza di promozione, perché vivo solo per una notte. Dopo l'hotel c'è un fiume, posso andare a pescare, e camminare lungo entrambi i lati del fiume per vedere la cultura locale del pesce, è anche molto significativo, E'difficile camminare più di 20 minuti dal centro della città, ma è molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, e l'hotel ha un servizio di trasporto gratuito. Questo servizio è davvero buono, ed è una delle ragioni per cui ho prenotato questo hotel

Strategic location hotel, near airport with airport shuttle, and affordable price. Some restaurant nearby. The staffs are friendly and helpful, breakfast complimentary. Room spacious, clean and nice.
