Hotel con colazione inclusa a Kundasang

I visited with my Family on the 8th of August. Took a twin room which has 2 queen sized beds. I arrived at the location at noon, feeling very stressed out because was having a bit of an argument with the family. My mother was having one of her fits when we arrived, saying she didn't like the place, I on the other hand, was wondering why I spent so much money on this place. I called the caretaker and he was quick to respond, good guy, we got to our room, still stressed out, and felt instantly that the room was sp****. I was immediately questioning my reasoning for booking this place. Fast forward an hour or so later, when everyone calmed down (mother included), we were immediately in a better mood. The landscaping of the place is really beautiful, and the view of mount kinabalu was very majestic. We left both the front and back door open and the winds were blowing through the room, keeping it cool, my mom and my sisters were all starting to enjoy the place, myself included. I started looking into the details of the rooms, the quality of the materials used to construct the villa was of the highest quality, toilet was made with marble, and everything else was simple but robust, and could tell that material choice was quite important. The landscaping was also quite nice. Beautiful garden. And it's just so private. To sum it all up here are the pros and cons of this place. Pros: 1. High quality material used to construct the rooms 2. Beautiful landscaping - very calming and great. 3. Very private 4. Friendly and quick team to reply 5. Nice toilet (best in Kundasang) Cons 1. Price a bit on the high side (but it's private and most probably the nicest hotel in kundasang, cant compare to established hotels in the city( 2. Lacks some finer details : instead of 3 in 1 coffee, put a Nespresso machine in every room with 4 to 6 capsules, that really makes a difference in terms of perceived quality. 3. Pillows could be better - sheets are alright and bed is alright - but I stayed in four seasons kl for 40 percent cheaper, so... A bit hard on that end 4. I appreciate the disposable tooth brush, soaps etc. But I think the soap would be better if it was in a bottle stuck to the shower wall where it can be refillable, perhaps they could use a branded soap and shampoo for that, and not put it in small bottles, but in refillable permanent bottles in the room. 5. Restaurant - it's not under them, they share it with the hotel about a 5 minutes drive away. It's not bad, but it's far from good. No alcohol in sight there, so better BYOD. Although pricing wise it's on the high side, and there are some things that they can improve on, I'd still go back there, as it's the only great and private stay in kundasang. Everywhere else is not up to spring gardens quality, for now....

Very friendly management who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Mr Johar, Mdm Julie, Ms Sue, Ms Edora and staff that we met at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. Our room were spacious, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great. The location was perfect - close to nature, calming greenery, quiet peaceful and Mt Kinabalu view was stunning. The hotel had great facilities and was very convenient. Breakfast at Liwagu Restaurant was delicious and had a great variety of options. The service was excellent. The gardens and surround resort are very well looked after. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Unbeatable View with a Quirky Charm The view from this hotel is absolutely breathtaking (can search vid on TikTok's). It truly makes everything else worth it. The vibe has a bit of a 90s throwback feel, but everything is clean and well-maintained. A Few Things to Keep in Mind Bugs: There are occasional bugs, but it seems they're manageable. Just be sure to keep doors and windows closed at night. Limited Climate Control: There's no air conditioning, but it cools down at night. Remote Location: The hotel is located on a high hill, about 2.3km away (unpaved road) from the main area, which takes around 30 minutes to reach. Dining: There are limited dining options nearby. Stock up on snacks or be sure to order room service before 10 pm. Visibility: Fog can roll in at night, so plan to arrive before dark. Overall, this hotel is perfect for those seeking a unique experience with an incredible view. Just be prepared for the ”rustic” charm and slightly limited amenities.

Questa casa era buona, ma un po' vecchia.. il paesaggio era molto bello e freddo, soprattutto quando il buio appare al mattino e alla sera. Per quanto riguarda la colazione... bisogna migliorare un po'..

Its very nice place to stay. Not only that, the view also very suitable for those who loves to see Mount Kinabalu.

Unbelievable full view of Mount Kinabalu from the balcony. No airconditioner, no fan but these are not needed as the temperature gets freezing cold at night. Do bring extra sweaters/blankets especially during rainy season. Water heater for drinks was a bit dusty but it doesnt bother me much. Bathroom was clean. Hot shower is available but i think the coldness from the surroundings overpowers the warm water coming out of the shower. Best time to shower is probably around 9.30-10am as the sun will be all up so that the hot shower wont get re-cool by the surrounding temperature. Overall, staying here is still totally worth it. I would come back again.

In primo luogo, il numero di telefono al punto di partenza è + 6 012 869 6969, come mostrato su un segnale all'ingresso al punto di partenza; il numero annunciato su questa piattaforma non è utile quando due giorni fa ho chiamato per chiedere la mia prenotazione. In secondo luogo, la strada dall'ingresso al bacino di parcheggio richiede un'esperienza e un'esperienza di conducenti, soprattutto quando i loro veicoli sono caricati con passeggeri o bagagli. In terzo luogo, il lavabo della vasca nella mia camera è libero, la tuba di doccia è inflexibile e la pressione dell'acqua è inferiore alla media.

Abbiamo visitato la proprietà solo una settimana a parte per la posizione. Per la prima volta il prezzo era rm100, poi una settimana dopo quella rm135 incluso colazione. Non hanno la possibilità di escludere il colazione. Quando ho chiesto il colazione, il divano prima mi ha mostrato il menu con una vasta gamma di colazione, ma la mattina dopo, ci è stato dato un buono per ticchettare una delle cinque scelte, di cui due non erano disponibili. Le scelte erano cattive, il cibo era cattivo, tutto in tutto - rm35 colazione per 2 non valeva la pena. Puoi trovare una migliore opzione di gusto nella città che è solo a piedi. Chiedono deposito. Per la prima volta, il deposito era rm50, poi lo hanno aumentato a rm100 una settimana dopo, quindi non sono sicuro quanto tempo questa revisione sarà corretta quando si tratta dell'importo di deposito che effettivamente hanno richiesto. Il telefono non funzionava (che cambiano per noi), la TV non funzionava (che non potevano fare molto perché non hanno richiesto Astro), la stanza leggermente polverosa, il pavimento fa suonare quando cammini, quindi potresti dover fare il tifo se qualcuno sta dormendo, Il tavolo del giardino sul balcone potrebbe essere pericoloso semplicemente perché non si conformavano alla legge della fisica, e quando pensavi che non potesse andare peggio, il giorno dopo abbiamo avuto un ospite molto rumoroso con bambini correndo e urlando così presto alle 6:00. A parte la posizione, non credo che io consideri questa proprietà come un buon valore per i soldi.

The road to the location is quite high, luckily we use 4wd drive to get there. Still its reachable and easy to locate via waze. I saw the bad review about the cleanliness (i had second thought at first too but i booked it for the cheap price and my dad wanted to try a different place everytime we go to kundasang😂) but some improvements can be see. The room is quite comfortable and the toilet is clean with fuctioning heater. Still lacking in some amenities, 5 people room but only two towels were provided. The tv is under maintainence during our stay. We didnt use the wifi provided cause we bring our own, the coverage for dg and celcom is quite good. There is balcony in our room but my mom complain about the smoke that travel from other room as the balcony is not fully seperated. The view of Mout Kinabalu is right in front of our room BUT there is ongoing construction at front which will block the view in the future. However there is one balcony outside the building that can see the panorama of the Mount Kinabalu and Kundasang town. Definitely an A+ for the view. We brought our own food as we always do during our trip and I would recommend to bring your own as the place is quite far from town and the food there (i saw the food menu at reception) is quite pricey. Still it is a good experience and i would recommend other to stay there. I attached some photos of the view that can be seen from there

Location is very nice. Near to Kundasang village. The hotel is recently renovated. The view from the room is amazing. There's a dinner buffet offered during our stay which is during Ramadan. They also cater Sahur or early breakfast. Parking also not a problem. Scenery around the hotel also very nice. Overall very recommended place to stay if you visit Kundasang.
