CcharlottieotsieMio padre si è recato in Italia per il suo compleanno e la prima notte del nostro soggiorno non poteva andare meglio qui. Margrita era così accogliente e amichevole, offrendoci un bicchiere di succo o acqua al momento dell’arrivo. Ci ha dato una pletora di croissants diversi per scegliere come parte del colazione, un classico corso di mozzarella e pomodori, poi un croissant aromatizzato e una piastra di frutta fresca. Gli altri che restano lì hanno detto che era il miglior colazione mai, e per essere onesti, concordo. Le camere erano incredibilmente tese e pulite, completate con un frigo per conservare acqua per resistere al calore (l'aria con ha lavorato un trattamento, e ci erano anche bottiglia d'acqua complimentari alla nostra prima notte). Le visione dai piccoli balconi nelle aree comuni erano bellissime, vista degli alberi di limone. La posizione era grande, a circa 15 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia, che era perfetto per noi, mentre uscivamo dalla strumentazione e dalla bustina. E circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione quando siamo arrivati. Tutto in tutta 10/10 onestamente, e di solito non lascio recensioni, ma sentivo la necessità di fare questo posto e margrita giustizia! 😊

The hotel sits on the rooftop of a kindergarten, which is both unique and endearing. Surrounded by plenty of great eateries and a short walk to the port for day trips to Capri, Positano, or Amalfi, the location is ideal for exploring.
The interior is creative, colourful, and full of personality—a truly refreshing design. While it lacks a ground-floor reception (which would be helpful for managing luggage), and there are no pool or major facilities, it still offers a pleasant and memorable experience. A bit pricey for what it is, but I’d definitely consider staying here again for the charm and location alone.

LLKHKerLa mia famiglia e io abbiamo avuto un'esperienza preziosa e memorabile in Casa Astarita in ottobre. Benché camminavamo per un po' dalla stazione di autobus alla casa, presto ci siamo resi conto che già passavamo attraverso la zona più centrale e vivace di Sorrento. Tutto quello che volevamo era ristoranti, negozi di regali, gelati e bar per bere, supermercati, e altro ancora.
La ricezione e l'ospitalità di Casa Astarita erano ancora più sorprendenti e caldi, facendoci sentire veramente a casa.
Abbiamo apprezzato il tempo del colazione con altri ospiti della zona comune, le ragazze erano gentili e pensanti, personalizzando i nostri pasti alle nostre preferenze.
La stanza era spaziosa, e i mobili solidi e tradizionalmente funzionali non erano progettati per coloro che aspettavano decorazioni di lusso, ma perfettamente comodi. Il balcone ha guardato la strada principale sottostante, dove potevamo sentire i busker e la musica italiana giocare dai ristoranti vicini, dandoci un senso immerso della città.
Il giorno del check-out, come volevamo rimanere in città fino a tardi, ci è stato offerto piacevolmente il deposito bagagli senza esitazione. Grazie sinceramente all'ospite per il loro servizio considerato e orientato al cliente.

PP.SchneiderThe place is only 10 minutes from central station of Sorrento, calm area but have very good restaurant 3minut walk and little shop for daily needs . Ou room has nice views, comfortable bed, And Tv plus little fridge if you need to put cold things , with the cute bathroom we have everything we needs. Is really like boutique hotel with three rooms and big enough dining room it make perfect getaway time , not crowded just enough to have nice little chats with other guests. What’s more our host Carmela is a very kind ,attentive and helpful person , she provides us with all information about the town and help us with what we need. Will definitely back again and recommend to anyone who wants to come to Sorrento . We have very enjoyable time and relaxing, specially beautiful sunsets views with glass of cold wine it’s perfect to end the hot summer day.

UUtente ospiteOver all experience ! 8/10! Location 10-15 to Sorrento town centre by bus ! Which is right outside. So don’t bother for taxi , or paid car parking ! Sea view hotel. 3 star but with lovely pool , sea view sitting area to relax for guests. Hand wash , hair dryer , small bathroom. Shower area very tight but manageable. Locker. Air con. Room size ( booked Standered) ok. 15M ! Manageable Room cleanliness good . Bed comfortable ! Cupboard. All this in 3 star is mind boggling ! Now Negative points . U can’t sleep for long. Max 8-9am. As check out is 10.30am max. BF 7/10. As other guest start closing doors going for BF so u hear them. It’s a two story hotel with stairs. No elevator. But has help to take your luggage to rooms. Try to take rooms on 1st floor. If u r over 55 plus. But keep in mind. It’s 3 star. With sea view and pool. Last suggestion. Don’t other taking rent a car. Take ferries. Driving on some road here is not very safe with Italian drivers. Plus traffic.

AAngelaHotel itself is pretty standard as what you would expect from any big chain hotels, but service was definitely not up to par. We were told there would be valet service - there was none. The bus boys just told us to park ourselves. FINE. Then after I've checked in I asked if the luggage will be sent up to our room - reception then asked if I got a luggage ticket to which I told him we weren't given anything. The bus boys just stood around the entrance. He said they would be sent up shortly but given how they were just standing around we just took our luggage ourselves - mind you I am 6 months pregnant and obviously so but they did not offer any help. Once we got to our room the air conditioning was not working - we kept dialing it down but there was no air. Amazing to find out the AC wasn't working for the price we paid. The room is stuffy and even the hallway was cooler. Also during our stay there was conference - we were given a room on the same floor as conference participants and as expected they were loud and rowdy at night. We could hear them talking in the hallway at night when we called reception they said there was nothing they can do. So very helpful. Upon check out, the same bus boy stood around while watching a pregnant lady wheel 4 pieces of luggage out. I really just wonder what they do other than standing around all day hanging in the shade. Service is terrible here and I've had better service at small boutique or family run hotels than here. The only upside to this stay was that the rooms are spacious and clean and that's about it.

UUtente ospiteArriviamo alle 1030 e siamo stati informati che il check-in era alle 3:30. Domandato due volte perché pensavamo fosse più tardi di quanto fosse normale. La signora con gli spettacoli insisteva che fosse alle 3:00. Checked online later, found it was after 2:30pm. Se la stanza non fosse pronta, avrebbe potuto dire così, invece di ingannarci. Secondo, questo era l'unico hotel in tutta l'Italia che non aveva nemmeno offerto bottiglia d'acqua gratis. Lo trovereste nel minibar e costa 3 euro. Le strutture erano di tazze di carta e piccole bottiglie di lavaggio/shampoo corporeo che non erano state sostituite il giorno successivo, quindi abbiamo dovuto fare quello che lasciava poco sapone. Il letto era stato messo in un modo orribile. Il bagno aveva mollato in tanti angoli, le pareti erano sporche, non sembrava essere completamente pulito negli anni.
La cosa buona era che ci fossero le mutandine, un balcone con tavolo e sedia. Il colazione era uno dei migliori colazione che abbiamo avuto in Italia. La posizione era sorprendente, a 1 km dal porto e c'era un negozio di pasticceria vicino. Il prezzo era anche ragionevole (250 euro per notte) quando abbiamo prenotato, ma abbiamo pensato di prolungare il nostro soggiorno e abbiamo controllato due settimane prima di arrivare e aveva superato il 50%, a quel punto non credo che valga la pena.

Per quanto riguarda la posizione: è sul porto così buono per accedere alla spiaggia e al traghetto, tuttavia, devi salire le scale ++ per raggiungere la città principale dove si trovano ristoranti e negozi. Non credo che la stanza stessa valesse l'importo che abbiamo pagato. Questa è stata una delle sistemazioni più belle e costose del nostro viaggio ed eravamo così eccitati per il nostro soggiorno qui. La nostra camera aveva la muffa nella doccia, la porta della doccia non si chiudeva bene e il letto era duro sembrava un piedistallo. Ho tentato di discuterne ulteriormente con lo staff in merito a un cambio di stanza senza successo o soluzione alternativa alle mie preoccupazioni. A parte questo, fare colazione inclusa era buono e la maggior parte del personale con cui abbiamo interagito era davvero gentile e disponibile. Nel complesso, non consiglierei l'Hotel Il Faro a nessuno dei miei familiari o amici in visita a Sorrento.

OoliviachenzwWe stayed 3 nights at Santa Fortunata Village in Dodome Tent No. 9 and had a pleasant experience overall. The village is located a bit outside of Sorrento town, but since we were driving, the distance wasn’t an issue. For those not driving, they do offer a buggy service, which is convenient.
Our tent didn’t have the best view, but we were still able to catch beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay, with no disturbances from other campers. The bed was comfortable, and the tent included a plug point and two USB ports. However, there were no built-in lights, so we recommend bringing your own portable USB light.
There were ants on the ground, but it wasn’t a major problem. The parking lot was spacious, and the shared bathrooms and toilets were a short walk away. Showers had hot water, and there were plenty of basins and mirrors available. The provided hair dryer was quite weak, so it’s better to bring your own if needed.
The village also has mini marts and a restaurant. We had dinner at the restaurant once—it was a bit pricey, but the atmosphere was elegant and enjoyable. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They offer excursions as well, though we had already planned our own itinerary.
All in all, it was a comfortable and quiet glamping experience. We'd definitely consider coming back!

Iilzestayed here with a friend and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, but it's just a short walk from the main street, which made it convenient yet peaceful.
The room had a fantastic view, which we really enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure — something we appreciated after long days of exploring. However, while the shower was advertised as having fancy jet options, none of them worked. This feature really shouldn't be promoted if it's not functional.
The room was marketed as a deluxe bedroom, but in reality, it's a standard double room without any frills. We would’ve preferred if expectations were set more accurately — under-promising and over-delivering always makes for a better guest experience.
Breakfast was basic and nothing to rave about, though we weren’t expecting much there, so no big disappointment.
All in all, it’s a solid option for a short stay. But i won't be recommending for family or friends. Tbere are better option elsewhere. Just need to be booked in advance 😊
