Hotel con colazione a Corfù

Room & Amenities We stayed at Hotel Art Debono in Corfu and overall had a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious and had a cosy, home-like feel. Personally, I prefer a more modern style, but if you enjoy a homely atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable and inviting. Some of the furniture, particularly around the bathroom area, was beginning to show its age and could benefit from some refreshing. The room amenities were fairly good. A 1-litre bottle of water was provided, and pool towels were already placed in the wardrobe, which was convenient. There was an amenity kit and shower cap, although no toothbrushes were provided. The slippers were quite flimsy. The bathroom had several mini conditioner bottles, and the shower area contained a combined body and hair wash as well as a bottle labelled as body and hair moisturiser, which seemed like an unusual place to keep it. One thing I appreciated was the water quality. After washing my hair, it didn't feel dry or heavy like it often does in very hard water areas such as London. Bathroom The bathroom was functional and clean, although I wasn't particularly fond of the pebble flooring in the shower area. It wasn't uncomfortable, but I personally prefer a smoother floor surface. Breakfast Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. There was a very wide selection of both hot and cold items, including English-style breakfast options, fresh and dried fruits, honeycomb, smoothies, and a make-your-own herbal tea station. The quality was good, and there was plenty of variety to keep things interesting over several mornings. Facilities The hotel has a comfortable lounge area with a television, plenty of sofas, and tables where guests can relax with a drink or play some of the board games provided. The pool was a decent size for the hotel, with plenty of sunbeds available. We arrived at the pool around 3 pm after check-in and still had no problem finding space. There were also two shaded canopy beds near the jacuzzi pool which were free to use, although they faced directly towards the pool and surrounding sunbeds, so they offered shade rather than privacy. The pool bar was reasonably priced. By European standards, the prices were very fair and seemed typical for Corfu. We tried some food there and found it to be good and reasonably priced. There is no spa on site. Massage treatments are arranged through an external company, and therapists come to your room when booked through the hotel. Service The reception staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. They weren't particularly chatty, but they were pleasant and professional throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we were offered a welcome drink, and the lemonade was especially refreshing. It was also available during breakfast, which was a nice touch. On checkout, we were given a small farewell gift consisting of three jars of local honey, which was a thoughtful gesture and a lovely souvenir to take home. Location The hotel is in a relatively quiet area. It was around a 10-minute walk to the nearest supermarket and approximately 15 to 20 minutes on foot to restaurants and souvenir shops. The location suited us well as it was peaceful while still being within walking distance of amenities. Overall Hotel Art Debono provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. The excellent breakfast, pleasant pool area, thoughtful touches such as the welcome drink and farewell gift, and friendly staff all contributed to a positive experience. Some areas, particularly the ageing furniture and a few of the room details, could do with updating, but overall it was a comfortable hotel that offered good value and a peaceful atmosphere.

Un grande hotel, ma non più fresco. Moralmente e tecnicamente comincia a diventare obsoleto e rallenta i nuovi. Ma ancora mantiene il livello di valore 5*

L'hotel è stato in buona posizione a pochi passi dai negozi di ristoranti e la spiaggia e l'ospite è stato bello e utile A nostro avviso il posto era un po' in basso e pensa come un bar di snack e colazione non come annunciato ( il bar di snack non era aperto e abbiamo avuto il colazione di scatola solo una volta dopo aver chiesto di mangiare, ma niente che non mangiamo così l'abbiamo dato indietro e non l'abbiamo mai avuto offerte di nuovo ) così a mio avviso non dovrebbe essere annunciato Alex era un buon ospite che ci avrebbe ordinato un taxi ogni volta che avessimo bisogno e dare consigli amichevoli e era facile arrivare in autobus per la vecchia città di Corfu per un paio di euro

La casa di Corfu era un posto molto bello, la camera era spaziosa, il letto era confortevole, e la vista dal nostro balcone era sorprendente. Ci piacevamo di avere il nostro espresso sul balcone ogni mattina, che divenne un bel rituale quotidiano. Il nostro pacchetto includeva un buffet per colazione e cena, insieme all'accesso alla sala.Il buffet ha offerto una vasta gamma di opzioni alimentari, più di quanto ci sia per goderci durante il nostro soggiorno. La spiaggia era bella, con sabbia morbida e acqua marina fantastica perfetta per rilassarsi. Abbiamo avuto un bel tempo e sicuramente raccomandare il resort. Consiglio per gli ospiti futuri: Pensate di noleggiare un'auto in anticipo prima della vostra arrivo. Il resort è situato a circa 30 minuti da Corfu Old Town, che è certamente vale la pena visitare. Senza una macchina, probabilmente trascorrerete la maggior parte del vostro tempo al resort.

Una estadía impecable de principio a fin!!! La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca de la playa y con fácil acceso. La atención merece un 1000. Somos de Argentina y estando tan lejos de casa, conocimos gente maravillosa que nos recibió con una calidez increíble y nos atendió de manera excepcional. Queremos hacer una mención muy especial a Elena, Denise y Alex, que nos hicieron sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Siempre súper atentos, amables y pendientes de cada detalle. ❤️ El hotel es espectacular: la habitación muy cómoda, todo súper limpio y una piscina hermosa que disfrutamos muchísimo. Verdaderamente fueron unas vacaciones inolvidables en un lugar hermoso, y gran parte de eso fue gracias a la calidez con la que nos recibieron y nos trataron durante toda nuestra estadía. Sin dudas volveremos! ❤️🇬🇷 An impeccable stay from start to finish!!! The location is excellent—very close to the beach and easily accessible. The service deserves a 10/10 (or a 1000!). We are from Argentina, and being so far from home, we met wonderful people who welcomed us with incredible warmth and took exceptional care of us. We want to give a special shout-out to Elena, Denise, and Alex, who made us feel right at home from the very first moment. They were always incredibly attentive, kind, and mindful of every detail. ❤️ The hotel is spectacular: the room was very comfortable, everything was spotless, and there was a beautiful pool that we really enjoyed. It was truly an unforgettable vacation in a beautiful place, and a huge part of that was due to the warmth with which we were welcomed and treated throughout our stay. Sfortunatamente, non c'è stato molto da apprezzare in questo hotel. Posso dire che la piscina era incantevole e perfetta per rilassarsi. La nostra esperienza è stata estremamente negativa. È stato deludente non trovare nessuno ad accoglierti. Entrando alla reception, sono rimasto lì per ben 5 minuti mentre il personale continuava a conversare tra loro. Una di loro ha detto in greco 'guarda, sta aspettando una stanza' e l'altra ha risposto 'lasciala aspettare un minuto'. Non si sono rese conto che anch'io ero greca. Mi hanno scambiata per una persona che non conosceva la lingua. Una volta che finalmente mi ha raggiunto, ci ha dato una stanza che non avevamo prenotato. Stavamo guardando gli alberi invece di avere una vista sulla piscina. Avevamo pagato la colazione per due solo per sentirci dire che solo uno poteva farla. Volevano più soldi per questo. È l'unico hotel a 4 stelle che non ha un conto per la camera. Ti fanno pagare sul momento. La cena era troppo cara e ci hanno frettolosamente mandati via. Quindi non abbiamo potuto goderci nulla. Appena ho preso l'ultima cosa, senza nemmeno aver finito il mio drink, il cameriere ha detto 'scusi ma deve pagare e andarsene'. La direzione dovrebbe far partecipare il personale a un programma di formazione sull'accoglienza e su come trattare gli ospiti. Quando eravamo in piscina, un membro del personale stava imprecando contro un gruppo di giovani ragazze che avevano appena finito il pranzo. Le chiamava 'inutili stro*ze' e 'turiste di mer*a'. Ancora una volta, è stato disgustoso sentirlo. Se avessimo potuto andarcene il primo giorno, lo avremmo fatto. Nessun servizio in camera era disponibile per noi poiché il telefono nella nostra stanza non funzionava (eravamo nella 403). La stanza era molto rumorosa a causa degli aerei che decollavano e atterravano fino all'una di notte. Se state pensando di prenotare questo hotel, fatevi un favore e cercate qualcos'altro.

The location is more than an hour drive from the airport unless you have a chauffeur or coach service booked. The room were nice and comfy but we were attacked by ants in our room which I guess is a common problem in the island. On our check out day, there was a national electricity breakdown at 8 am and the hotel staff wouldn't help by extending our checkout time by an hour. The electricity was restored at 12 pm but we were forced to empty the room at 11 am sharp. Overall, good activities at the resort and just across is a nice beach but you have to exit the resort to get to the sandy beach.

A lovely hotel over a large plot with three pools and several restaurants next to a clean beach with free sun beds and towels.  Rooms are large.  We booked a double, but actually had a double and single bed in the room.  Bathroom was clean.  Very large variety of food in the restaurants.  Biggest let down was the poor labelling of ingredients. Items with certain allergens like eggs were not labelled and could cause serious issues with those who are allergic. The chefs were very helpful in assisting but we got mixed information.

La posizione è ottima, di fronte al porto di Corfù, vicino alla fortezza nuova e alla città vecchia, mentre la fortezza vecchia più lontana è a soli 15 minuti di distanza. Mi è stata assegnata una stanza sul davanti, una stanza irregolare ma dotata di tutti i servizi e non troppo affollata per una sola persona. I tre membri del personale di servizio che abbiamo incontrato nella hall erano tutti molto ospitali, puliti e belli. Amo così tanto la Grecia che la consiglio vivamente.

Très bon accueil et service mais des choses a revoir: les draps étaient sales, petit déjeuner pas super bon, wifi très mauvais peu importe ou l'on se trouve dans l'hotel, si pas de voiture très mal localisé (20 min de marché jusqu'a l'arrêt de bus)/ à 20 minutes du port (taxi couteux). Malgré tout, la piscine est très bien entretenu, le personnel est présent et aide en cas de problème.
