"An enjoyable stay, staff were all friendly, room was comfortable with nice garden view. Buffet breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Location is good, away from the noisy downtown area and close to some sights such as Wright Park and Mines View. Only negative is that the hotel was always very busy with people and they could be heard from the room at night"

"Our stay was great! It's not walking distance to the tourist spots but all of them are within the area and hailing a taxi is not a problem at all. We also prefer not to walk 😅 But if preferred, it's possible as everything is near the area! We tried their heated pool while it rained, and we really enjoyed it! Such an experience with a cold weather in Baguio! The breakfast buffet is awesome! We love everything and their menu differs per day! The original flavor taho, strawberry and ube are such a delight! I think the only missing is cereals. First time to eat strawberry champorado! 😁 At first I was hesitant if the room will have a fast wifi for me to work. Viola! The room as a router! I was able to work with ease! We love the smart TV -- you only need to sign in your own Netflix account. We love our room view. We don't have to go to SM to see the Baguio city lights.. we already have it in the room. We have a balcony overseeing the pool area as well! We so love our room! 😍 Only thing is maybe they should add another desk or longer desk. The TV is already in the table and there is no separate desk for laptop or if you are having snacks/dinner. We asked, but they don't have a spare table. I think they can also add another chair since the room is good for two. There's only one chair in the room but when we requested for it, they were able to provide. Our room also allowed us to feel the breeze of Baguio! We can turn-off the AC and open the windows protected by mosquito net! I was just amazed with this feature! We truly appreciate their prompt service whenever we call the reception. We don't need to call for follow-up! We love them! We love that there is a bathtub and hoping they can also provide bath robes for a perfect bath! 🙏 Truly, we love to be back to SotoGrande whenever in Baguio! 🫶 Thank you SotoGrande for an awesome experience!"

"The hotel was good, the breakfast buffet was good but our room wasn’t sound Proof. We could hear the noise yelling from downstairs at night. We couldn’t sleep."

"Checking In: Swift and was able to check in 30 mins before 2 PM Room: About time for some renovation. The room I have booked has no view. Breakfast Buffet: Satisfying Checking Out: Took 10 minutes, they will check the room first. Overall: 4/5 Rating for me"

"Questa è la nostra seconda permanenza nella cabina di log, la prima è una piacevole esperienza in Q4 del 2017. Questa volta abbiamo prenotato la Pine Suite, che ci ha impressionati con le sue strutture e una terrazza che guarda il Giardino Botanico. Mentre la cabina di log sembrava un po' più vecchia, apprezzo il parcheggio esclusivo al lobby frontale. Il buffet di colazione gratuito era un po'di declino, quindi abbiamo scelto dopo il primo tentativo. In generale, ci siamo divertiti e probabilmente ritorneremo, ma potremmo rimandare il buffet di colazione a meno che non vi siano miglioramenti."

"The location is good, just in front of SM baguio. The room is a bit small and the towels are not super white. One of their advantage is their staff. They were all great and accommodating. The parking space is small you need to leave your key to the reception. The staff will help you park and move it in parking area. Over all it’s a good stay."

"Everything about our stay was excellent. The food, the service at breakfast, and the staff at the front desk. They were always polite, helpful, and respectful. This is the best stay I've ever had in a hotel, and I've traveled around the world and stayed at many hotels. Definitely a 5 star hotel!"

"We stayed at Chalet Baguio during a recent trip and had a generally okay experience. The location is great—close to Burnham Park, Session Road, and other Baguio attractions. It’s convenient if you want to explore the city without spending too much time in transit. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and responsive. Check-in and check-out were quick, and the hotel had a welcoming vibe overall. However, I was disappointed with the buffet breakfast. The selection was quite limited, and the food quality didn’t meet expectations. It felt more like a quick fix rather than something to look forward to in the morning. Hopefully, the hotel can improve on this, as breakfast can really set the tone for the day. Also, parking space is limited, which can be a challenge during peak times."

"Molto raccomandato. Il servizio e il benvenuto sono eccezionali, come la splendida posizione forestale e l'atmosfera dell'hotel a Camp John Hay, Baguio. Anche se è un vecchio hotel, le più alte norme sono fornite. È molto costoso, anche se le opzioni di mangiare e bere sono prezzi ragionevolmente per un hotel di questa natura. Ci siamo davvero goditi di un soggiorno molto rilassante, di vedute all'aperto e di un fascino classico facile. Grande lavoro, e grazie!"
