The Druidstone Hotel

Very very strange. A bit of a dump but very expensive. Great for a bohemian experience but best seen as a novelty. The bar is apparently members only but we were served on tla sunny day. Nice people but I wouldn't choose to eat or stay here. See it once.

This place is a gem! Amazing home cooked food. A refreshing change from all the generic pub menus these days. Enjoyed a lovely evening with my friends. Hotel is quirky with a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful sea views from the dining room.Staff were welcoming and friendly.

No better place to watch the sun go down with a drink in hand and a table reservation. Spectacular cliff top location but don’t be distracted by the view. The ever changing menu offers home cooking at its best. We enjoyed pork fillet on lentils and sea bass but made sure to test the menu we had a selection of starters. Eke out your meal in this glorious setting with staff who have such a fabulously friendly attitude and nothing is too much trouble.

The most amazing place I’ve ever been I love it so much! Food is always a 10/10 and rooms are cleaned perfectly 100% recommend!it’s also got great access to walkers because it’s right on the coast path. And the staff are always lovely and welcoming!

Magical place, stunning location, warm and welcoming staff. Spent a couple of nights, out of season for a family funeral. Gus and Ruth were so supportive and welcoming. Stayed in one of the cosy, quirky cottages, up high on the cliff, with a glorious bed, snuggled with the wind howling around. I felt like Heidi! Thanks so much guys. What an amazing place. Will be back with the family

Delicious Sunday lunch . The amount of Beef was quite overwhelming all the food was simply tastyThe gravy was divine . Everything was homemade and I can’t say it enough it was delicious. A proper Sunday lunch . We did pre book and had a walk before lunch . The dessert’s were absolute heaven on a plate and again all homemade. We had the banoffee pie and sticky toffee pudding. Yum yum yum . If I had one tiny bit of advice the plates could have been a lot hotter ! When we were sat eating our lunch it was one of those meals you didn’t want to end ! Staff were efficient and welcoming .

I booked for 2 nights to see Pembrokeshire for the first time, and to visit the exhibition of paintings by Jackie Morris currently being held at the Druidstone. I was given a really warm welcome and my room (room 3) was lovely. Nice and cosy with en-suite toilet & hand basin. There was an excellent walk in shower room just down the corridor. Really invigorating after a chilly walk on the beach. Had a nice local ale in the bar whilst listening to a local folk music band playing. Really relaxed me after my long drive from Cumbria. I ate at the hotel on both nights - the food was superb (duck & noodles & sirloin steak). Breakfast was also excellent with a wide choice and taking a reassuringly appropriate length of time to arrive - proving it was fresh cooked to order. Beth, the co-owner, was very welcoming and all the staff were really friendly and attentive - Jess & Joel in particular. Very pleasant for a solo guest. The walks and views from the hotel are superb as it is set on a wonderful coastline. All in all a truly magical stay - and good value in my view for such a special location and historic house. An added bonus was that I was able to fully re-charge my electric car at one of the hotel's charging points overnight - at no extra cost. I will most definitely go back! Great place right on the coast with amazing views from the room. Most of all the staff are great and the place is very relaxing, no TV in the room which was ok with me. the room was a little rough around the edges maybe a splash of paint and bathroom update, but this did not distract from the view and people who run the place, well worth visit if you like coastal walks . The Hotel also has a great little bar serving a good selection of beers. Breakfast was also great ( I had traditional English) I wish I could have stayed longer.
