Premier Inn Leicester (Braunstone)

Love Premier Inns and this is a good one. Staff very attentive, and rooms really clean. Reception staff really efficient and welcoming. Breakfast was great too with a good selection . Great location near the M1 and a five minute walk to the Meridian where you've got your Nandos, Frankley and Penny's, Five Guys etc.

Arrived to find room was stale and bathroom had a very strong smell of industrial cleaning fluid. Bed had a stain on covers. Reported to reception to be told that room would be freshened up whilst we were out as we were getting ready to go out. On further investigation found marks on wall, damp marks painted over in bathroom (mould?), small amount of letter not cleared away and large cracks in toilet and basin. Requested a change of room only to be told we were too late as we had been using room for too long (30 minutes). Excuse given was that there was no one available to get room ready again for another guest - it would take a bit more than a clean to get the room ready that night I suggested. If they think that they can pass that kind of room on again to another guest then that's a poor attitude to take. No offer of help and actually room was not even refreshed fore when we got back. I had rang the day before as I thought I may be checking in late but I actually checked in at around 5.30pm. Worryingly perhaps they thought I may be arriving to late to complain!! Stayed at this hotel many times but sadly this will be the last! If you get room 117 then ask for a change of room!! I have been sent the usual Premier Inn feedback email but I never get any response about comments so its feels like a waste of time.

Stayed overnight whilst visiting family and attending a family gathering. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Slight smell in bathroom. Something that a nice smelling disinfectant would sort out ( I clean my house ALOT!!). That bit of extra attention would mean the cleanliness rating would be 5 *…overall a good stay. Would stay again on next trip to Leicester

Great stay, above expected service. Staff created personalised keyrings for junior competitors of a local snooker competition. Very nice touch.

check in was friendly and efficient and info given, room was as expected, comfy bed and extra pillows provided, tea and coffee facilities with extra supplies available by reception. Table booked for breakfast which speeded up the process. Evening meal was very busy but just waited 20 mins, unable to book a table as Id just arrived - overall happy with stay and service

Stayed with wife and grandaughter for 2 nights. Plenty of spaces for car parking.Staff were very nice&helpfull&friendly. Bed and pillows were comfortable.evening meal was just right And food was hot.All you could eat breakfast was just right.Had trouble with vending machine,paid to get bag of crisps and got stuck during drop,tried again to free with another bag that got stuck also,ended up shaking machine with a member of staff only 1bag dropped,staff don't have a key to machine so had to get a bag from bar.. Would stop here again if we return to Leicester. Thank you to staff who made it an enjoyable stay.

I stay here every four weeks and the service is exactly the same every time which is excellent. The staff in the restaurant are great. The reception team are fantastic, Emma always does her very best to make sure everything is perfect and nothing is too much trouble for her and the team. There are other Premier Inns nearby but I pay more to stay here because of how well Emma and her team look after their guests.. Thank you....

Fantastic hotel with even better staff! Staff were very nice welcoming and helpful. The rooms were in fantastic conditions and good for our children and staff to use. The hotel is located very close to various restaurants which is also helpful

The lovely Rachel made my stay abosultly fantastic. Witty banter, fun and quirky. Everytime i come to to leicester this wiill be the place to stay. Breafast fantastic and lovely facilities. Would not stay anywhere else from now on. .......
