Bridge Hotel Brandon

This is nice hotel with a very picturesque view of the river. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a great place for a base if you are visitng the area, however Brandon itself it very small - you will need transport if you want to see anything in the surrounding area. The hotel does not have a lift so if you are not able to manage stairs, I suggest requesting a ground floor room - we did this and the staff were very accommodating. It has a small cafe which sells coffee & cake, but is does not have a bar or restaurant, however there is a pub close by that has nice food.

Had a great afternoon tea with family and the choice of food on the burger van was excellent. Lovely venue by the river and staff excellent.

Almost 14 months after my first review, I have now stayed here around 30 times ! The B & B has undergone some great changes in that time, with the outdoor patio, seating area etc. right next to the river and drinks served from the 'hatch' - fantastic ! Sylvia is a powerhouse, nothing is too much trouble for her. The rest of the team are brilliant too. It's reached the ;point where I'd rather cancel work than have to stay anywhere else ! The added draw for me is that it's a 7 minute drive to the viewing area at RAF (USAFE) Lakenheath ..... if you're not into watching fast jets blasting around, ignore that part. If you ARE, what better place to stay ?!

Great place, We stayed overnight as attending open air concert in the forest. We checked in early after enjoying a cold drink sat by the river, our room was lovely, comfortable bed, fluffy white towels, tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was very fresh , well cooked and very tasty. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a walk up the high street and a lovely ice cream on a very hot day. Well done, we will be returning.

Excellent little hotel in Brandon. Perfect location for my trip visiting the local airfields. Well furnished and beautifully laid out location set on a riverbank with boats and ducks with a warm and friendly greeting from the hosts. My room was at another building up and over the bridge and at the bottom of the garden! ...but at £65 incl an excellent brekkie, who could complain? Thoroughly, enjoyed my stay here and would use in future anytime.

This is a small hotel located either side of a bridge over the Little Ouse in Brandon. We were in room 3 overlooking the main road. Room was slightly on the small side, compact but not cramped with a comfortable double bed. There are tea and coffee making facilities. Furnished with a wardrobe, table, chair and 2 two drawer bedside tables, this provides adequate storage space. There is also a flat screen tv in the room. Free WiFi. There is an en suite shower room with a superb rain shower, in fact the shower room is fantastic, the only criticism is that there is no shelving on which to put your toiletries in the shower and a non slip shower mat would should be added. Breakfast is very good, with a selection of juices, fresh fruit, various cereals, filter coffee tea, fruit teas etc. Also a freshly cooked to order breakfast is included in the price with a full English, omelette, various eggs etc. The grounds are small but very well kept with access to boats on the Little Ouse. There is an annexe to the hotel on the other side of the bridge but we never got to see it. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
