Pelican Post at Anna Maria Island Inn

Was just renovated, including the pool and small artificial turf area to relax with a grill, corn hole, seating, etc. You can walk to everything. Staff was very personable and accommodating to our needs. We will definitely be back again.

Newly remodeled in trendy white with black trim. Amazing pool & hot tub! Walkable to restaurants, shops, beach and historic pier. We would stay again.

Very clean, comfortable bed and bedding. Big hot tub and heated pool that were clean and easy access. My only complaint was some confusion about the office being at a separate location, but staff was polite and helpful in solving that. Added bonus that they are pet friendly ( additional fees)

Loved everything about my stay at Pelican Post! Perfect location and our room was really nice! The property was gorgeous and the staff were fantastic!

This is a great property; however, we have been visiting the island for 20 years, and we decided to give a new business a try. Could not get in our room because door code world not work, and when we repeatedly called the number, the extension for emergency check in did not even exist. It was Xmas night at 8:00pm. No one answered. Did not get a call back until 11:30pm. Had already made alternate sleeping arrangements, and they did not offer to pay for any inconvenience! Only offered to compensate the night that we obviously COULD NOT get into room! DUH! Poor business practice! Plenty of other places on the island, which would offer extended recompense due to the circumstances. Disappointed to say the least. We will go back to our old faithfuls who take care of us.

The pool and hot tub were great. Room clean and spacious. The noise from the air/heating unit outside the bedroom window was so loud that we had difficulty falling asleep. That was unfortunate. Otherwise the place was nice.

Very cute rooms! Great location, tons of shops and places to eat within walking distance.

Property and rooms were good but unfortunately cockroaches were found in the room & left us with bit of disgust.

Yes Check in was good however we could not get into our room for 40 minutes after we checked in: door code would not work; the phone number on card provided us did not work. I had to call the emergency after hours number and they transferred us to get a voicemail. I did get a call back in a reasonable time. We needed to then use the key; which was inconvenient for our party of 3 had to stay together with only one key. The TV in the bedroom would turn on and off intermittently by itself in the middle of the night! At least 6 times. The light in the living room would do the same! It was like the cottage was *******, clearly a wiring issue. The AC UNIT was very dirty and this to shut off in the middle of the night. Location was wonderful and the rest of the unit was very clean.
