Apartments in Central Bracknell, 30mins from London

"Good location just a short walk to main shopping/restaurant area and parking is included in the price (albeit a terribly tight spot. I had to climb out of passenger side to get out) Communication with the landlord was good and they were quick to respond. Property access details were easy to follow, once I managed to locate the lockbox to get the key, after which everything was fine and the lifts etc all work efficiently. The apartment itself was however, a big disappointment; I wasn’t expecting luxurious penthouse living, but the apartment I stayed in (208) was very bad. As soon as I entered I was almost knocked out by a disgusting stench coming from the bedroom. I couldn’t tell if it was vomit, excrement or both. It smelled disgusting, even with all windows open. The carpet in the bedroom definitely needed replacing or at the very least a proper deep clean. I did notify the landlord about this issue straight away, and did receive a response, but wasn’t offered a room change and nobody came to try and rectify the issue. The apartment is sparsely furnished, which was fine, but nevertheless very grubby & dusty. Kitchen facilities were fine although, apart from 1 scouring sponge and a bottle of washing up liquid, there was no surface cleaner or dish cloths to keep the place clean. There was some tea/coffee sachets provided but the tea bags had obviously been there ages as they had stains all over them and stuck to the paper so couldnt use. I was there for 5 nights but was only provided with one very small ‘bottle’ of shampoo. Shower worked great. WiFi was ok but often dropped in and out so had to keep resetting devices. I’ve stayed in worse and better places, but probably wouldn’t book this place again, unless you’re just using it for one night as a place to sleep for a few hours. Speaking of which, the mattress also needed replacing as I could feel the springs digging in no matter what part of the bed I lay on."

Beautiful 2 bedroom for 5, walk to town, near Legoland and Lapland!
