Went to a ball on Saturday night and had stayed in the hotel. The jacuzzi bath didn't work, and we're given very little loo roll. The bed was so uncomfortable.
At the ball, the food was awful. Mass produced with no seasoning. The only nice thing i ate was the cheesecake.

We stayed in one of the lodges which looked perfect from the outside. However, the inside was a different matter. The carpet, sofas, and dining chairs were really dirty. This unfortunately spoilt our stay. The hot tub was cleaned and checked daily.

Between 15 of us we hired 4 lodges, the place is really nice and the lodges are comfortable. The surrounding area is very nice with lovely routes to walk. Though if allergic to pet hair then ensure the lodge is cleaned thoroughly as all lodges are pet friendly and in one lodge there was pet hair visible, this unfortunately affected one person from our group, at checkout when we advised the receptionist she didn’t seem very interested with our feedback and provided no apology. Other than that issue, it was a pleasant stay.

Just finished a great afternoon for a friend’s baby shower. The ease of booking- great communication to arrival- able to decorate the room in advance. Allergies were catered for. The afternoon tea itself was brilliant- could tell it was homemade and tasted wonderful. The staff were all lovely and attentive. Would highly recommend having a function here. There was 21 of us in total and all agree the Brackenborough made it one to remember:)

We spent a lovely weekend in one of the 'Signature Lodges' with a hot tub and found the whole experience very pleasurable. Check in was nice and easy and the accommodation was excellent (housekeeping obviously do a fantastic job). We dined on site both nights and for breakfast and was suitably impressed. We will definitely be returning. 5 star rating for a quality weekend of relaxation.

Stayed here for a couple of nights for the 625 Sqn RAF annual memorial service and lunch. This hotel is used every year for this event as it works well for accommodation and private dining. Rooms are peaceful, clean yet a little dated. Bathrooms need updating and modernising with walk in showers as had problems climbing in the bath for a shower and no hand rails. Staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. Lovely breakfast in the mornings, buffet and cooked menu that works well. Plenty of free parking. Overall a nice stay.

Had our wedding here very recently and were very pleased with everything. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The wedding coordinators and staff couldn't do enough. We enjoyed our stay in the lodges - as did the family. The food was brilliant and everyone had a great weekend. They even managed to deal with the usual problematic family members with discretion and the utmost professionalism! Thanks again.

I attended my son and daughter in laws wedding here. The staff were exceptional and a special thank you to Dave for an amazing day . The meal on the Friday was delicious as was the wedding meal. The lodges were clean ,comfortable and well equipped. Absolutely wonderful experimce

We have just returned home after a fantastic 3 night stay here. The food in the restaurant was delicious, beautifully presented and breakfast was lovely with a good choice too. Dogs are permitted in certain parts of the Restaurant, which the other diners seemed to really enjoy, which was lovely for us and our dog who got lots of cuddles. Our room was fab and clean with a massive bed and warm duvet and gorgeous fluffy pillows. The staff here are truly fabulous, always smiling and happy to help. One evening was extremely busy but the service from staff & food was still 100%. Thank you to everyone that made such a fuss of Gizmo too, our little dog never stopped wagging his tail with all the attention and tummy rubs from the staff in the Restaurant! One tip, If you stay here with a dog then a visit to Hubbards Hills 5 mins drive away is a must. Shame the spa bath was broken in our room though and we were unable to use it.
