Matt and Amy were very accommodating and friendly hosts, very good communicators and made our stay for our wedding day very special. We rented the whole B&B for our friends and family, and it was a great place for us all to be together, with a pub just down the road. The Old Stores is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are great sizes and the beds were very comfy. The cooked breakfast is a must! Definitely recommend!

Staying yet again at Matt & Amy's The Old Store was a real pleasure. Great welcome, lovely bedrooms and a superb cooked breakfast. We have stayed here every year since The Old Store reopened and wouldn't stay anywhere else! Also conveniently situated for all Goodwood and local events.

The Old Store Guest House is lovely. It is conveniently located for Goodwood, and run by Matt who is charming and helpful. For us, it was important that there was off street parking. We had an attic room that was clean and well decorated (shabby-chic) with a well appointed en-suite bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Only complaints are that there was a missing thermostat on bathroom radiator giving tropical temperatures, and the bedroom was also a bit warm meaning we needed the window open at night and there was a fair bit of traffic outside. I will definitely consider staying with Matt again in the future when down at Goodwood.

An absolutely charming, beautiful and spotless property that was extremely welcoming and friendly. Great access for my personal needs to nearby areas and wonderful hosts. The attention detail from local pub guides, flexible hassle free check in WiFi made this a guest house to set the bar to. Highly recommended by myself.

This is one of the most lovely guest houses, we've ever stayed in. In Halnaker, near Chicheser City, but situated on a country road in lovely surroundings and 2 Miles from Goodwood Racing Circuit. It's a gorgeous 6 room, three floor, cottage style guest house, beautifuuly appointed and furnished. It felt like a warm hug when you enter and stay in its lovely surroundings. Bedrooms are clean, like being in an old familiar country Inn, large shower room, TV, tea and coffee facilitues in the room. Breakfast is excellent and you won't get better in many gust house, than this! Highly Recommended. You won't be disappointed, owned and run by a lovely young family, over the last 4 years, and we will certainly visit again and again, for the Goodwood Classic meets or Chichester City weekend visits.

Sorry about the late review guys. I actually stayed here back in March (14th to 15th) while I was in the area for work. I arrived rather late due to work reasons and unfortunately had to disturb the family, entirely my fault. But I was still met with a warm and friendly welcome and was shown where the check in desk was. As it was late, I went straight up to my room and what a beautiful room it was. I stayed in one of the double rooms. It felt like home from home. With an extremely comfy double bed, soft pillows and an extra blanket on top, it was the kind of bed that you never want to get out of! There was a plentiful supply of tea and coffee sachets etc in the room and even a complimentary bottle of water. The en-suite was very clean and nicely decorated, with a shower that was so good that you could have spent hours in! On the welcome sheet was breakfast menu and a number to message with your choices and requirements for the next morning. I messaged asking for the full English breakfast and received an almost immediate reply. In the morning, after another lengthy shower, I made my way down to the dining room. The dining was very spacious, light and had the rustic charm of a farmhouse kitchen. I was greeted by Matt, who said that my breakfast wouldn't be long and that I should help myself to juice/coffee etc. After a short wait, I was presented with a proper home cooked full English breakfast. It was absolutely delicious, with everything cooked to perfection. This definitely set me up for the day. After I checked out, Matt safely watched the road as I reversed my large work van out of the carpark. He handed me a business card as I said I would definitely be returning in the summer with my family for a longer stay at The Old Store. So, if you're ever in the South Downs and you want a beautiful, family run guest house to stay in, then look no further than here. It really is an absolutely beautiful house run by a friendly family who do everything to perfection. Thank you for a wonderful stay and see you again in the summer.

Clean, comfortable single room. Easy check-in, parking provided, good breakfast and flexible timing. 2 minute walk to Anglesey Arms with good menu. 5 minutes to Goodwood circuit. No need to say more but Trip Advisor insists on 200 characters!

Lovely place to stay, comfortable, relaxing and very clean. Matt is very friendly and helpful and makes excellent porridge.
