Very nice hotel. The house owner Susan and Alan are very friendly and the surroundings are also great. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely cottage! The dining room is well decorated and the room is comfy and clean. The host Glen and Susan are very nice and suggested us lots of good spots to go. Highly recommend. :)

What a jewel within the Lake District. Such a warm welcome and fabulous atmosphere for a pleasant stay. Rooms are very well set out with plenty of nice touches to make you feel like it’s a home from home. Highly recommend staying here for a visit to the lakes.

Storrs Gate House was the perfect choice in every way! The house is lovely with a spacious living room, a welcoming breakfast room, and beautiful bedrooms. Susann and Glen were so fun! They love Bowness and the surrounding Lake District and had so many ideas for us to explore. And the location..... perfection! Within walking distance of Windermere Lake, a great restaurant (The Boathouse), the ferry to get across the lake, and Bowness. We walked from the B&B into Bowness multiple times during out stay. It was a great way to walk off the indulgence of food and drink and we didn't have to contend with finding parking. Highly Recommend!

Another fantastic stay at this lovely welcoming guest house. Very conveniently located for bowness with ample parking. The hosts are fabulous, nothing too much trouble and loads od helpful tips. The rooms are delightfully presented and extremely comfortable. The breakfasts are a highlight with a range of delicious options all cooked freshly to order. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely weekend stay at Storrs Gate House b & b. The house is so lovely, very comfortable and beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches. We were made feel very welcome. Our room was lovely, immaculate with a lovely bed and bedding. Breakfast was really great quality with lovely fresh fruit and yogurt as well as a freshly cooked breakfast Location is brilliant with an easy walk into Bowness to eat out at night. We had a really lovely stay xxx

We had the best stay in this hotel. The hosts are exceptional, so welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet and in keeping with the charm of the place that is beautifully decorated. There was a lot of choice for breakfast and cooked with locally sourced ingredients that were delicious. The hotel is perfectly located to explore Windermere and surrounding areas. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance too. We will be visiting Storrs Gate House again.

Lovely bedroom with lounge area included and garden view. Attention to detail was very evident in the room and the full english breakfast was excellently cooked. The fried egg looked like it was steamed it was cooked so perfect. Quality of ingredients was very noticeable too. Thank you for a lovely stay. Phil & Julie.

Had the most fabulous time at Storrs Gate House. Suzanne and Glen were wonderful host’s, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. This was our third visit and we will most definitely be back again. One of the highlights of our stay in this beautiful House was the outstanding breakfast cooked to perfection. I would 100% recommend 👌😊 Thank for your hospitality Suzanne & Glen
