Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely cosy hotel, our room was very comfortable, shower was good as was the bath. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well both nights. It was very quiet. Breakfast was brought to your door in the morning at a time convenient for you and was really nice, choice of cereal, hot roll, yoghurt, juice, tea or coffee. There is a kettle with tea, coffee and milk in the room too. Wifi was good. Our host Jenny was super and very helpful with walks in the area. All in all I would definitely recommend staying here. Don't let the signs of building work outside put you off..it was not an issue at all.

This is our 4th stay at the white lodge and once again, we absolutely loved it. Always a lovely welcome by owners Jenny & Alan. Large comfortable room and the BEST breakfast in bed delivered to your door in a hamper. Great location and we can not wait to return in the summer. Thanks again guys 👍🏼😄

the studio has its own kitchen with appliances you would need, and the room was clean and tidy and fairly big. There were two armchairs and table and chairs. The bathroom had walk shower with an electric shower. I was very quiet so had a good sleep. We declined the breakfast as we like to have a cooked breakfast so went somewhere else. Parking was okay.

Nice hotel in good location just a short walk down the hill into Bowness centre. The king room with bed was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast which is delivered to the room was excellent and very good value for money. My only slight issue was I found the room to be cold in the morning and the radiators could not be turned on. So the room and bathroom were in my opinion quite chilly. Nice bathroom and shower etc. Overall it was a good place to stay and we would stay there again.

A spur of the moment decision to revisit Windermere was enhanced by our chancing on a vacancy for just the one night. Its central location; ample parking and a luxurious en-suite double room ensured we had a great base to experience the local ambience. The next morning, after a restful sleep in the very comfy bed, a more than ample breakfast of good quality ingredients was delivered to our room in a pre-ordered basket. We really enjoyed our stay at the White Lodge and can't wait to repeat it.

We have just returned from a two night stay at The White Lodge and it has been lovely. The bedroom was warm with a comfortable bed, the breakfast was delicious - made with quality ingredients, the location is brilliant (very central to Bowness and Windermere) and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would 100% recommend and not hesitate to return

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the white lodge hotel for 5 days, don't have any complaints, brilliant service, very friendly, room was fantastic, the bed and pillows were super comfy, food was excellent, the breakfast in a basket was a great touch, and at an ideal location, wish we stayed longer.

Strange review this one as we never actually got inside the building! Had this booked for last year, moved it to this year due to COVID restrictions, no problem. Turned up today to stay, rooms cancelled, no communication, no refund, no apologies! Strange the lead booking received a confirmation email this morning looking forward to our stay ?? Front of house very dismissive, especially the guy, eventually owned up to the cancellation being their error, refund issued. Got to say that their general attitude was extremely poor, if that is a reflection of their establishment I would steer clear ! 😫😫😫
