Only 20 minutes to Gore Mountain for your four seasons of outdoor fun. There is free wifi. There are two cozy bedrooms with comfortable bedding and pillows. There is seating at the kitchen table for six and four at the kitchen island. The kitchen comes fully stocked with basic necessities, including oils, vinegars, and common spices. All plates, pots, pans, and cooking utensils are provided. There is a free clotheswasher and dryer in the walkout basement. There’s a Bistro set and loveseat on the screen porch. You will also find a hammock in the backyard with an outdoor dining space that includes a table and chairs. There’s also a fire pit and a weber gas grill. The waterfront is across the road with a slow sloping, sandy entry to the lake. There are Adirondack chairs lakeside as well as a classic picnic table. The caretakers share additional bathrooms: a half bath downstairs (through the heated garage) and a full bath (shower) in the heated workshop. Chestertown is about 5 miles from restaurants, and an exquisite fine-dining restaurant is minutes away. Every town around Hermanus has its unique charm and plenty of activities year-round.We only accept dogs.
