Hello from Cape May County, New Jersey!The sun is shining down on this sweet farmhouse, with all its country-seaside charm. The air is filled with a refreshing scent of blooming flowers, mixed with sea salt from the nearby ocean. Spring has arrived, and summer is beckoning. As the days grow longer and warmer now is the time to book your vacation. The farmhouse sits on 3 acres of land, surrounded by a natural border of trees, offering a picturesque view while watching and listening to the songbirds. It is located in Cape May Courthouse, 10 – 15-minute drive to some of Jersey Cape beaches which rank the top in New Jersey and the nation. From Ocean City south to Cape May Point, there is adventure waiting up ahead throughout the surrounding area. The farmhouse is reminiscent of a traditional beach cottage that is newly renovated and furnished with care with each design feature to bring the coastline into the home. It has three bedrooms, two of which have a queen-sized bed, and the third has a full-sized bed. The coastal bedding quilts match the colors of the ocean, muted sea glass, natural hues from Maui’s beaches, seahorses and starfish give the feeling of tranquility and harmony to each room. Fresh 100% cotton linen sheets, blankets and black-out curtains to offer a comfortable night sleep after a long day on the beach. There is a full-size kitchen equipped with dishes, utensils, pots, pans and appliances. The living room has a large screen TV, high-speed internet access, and a dining room that opens onto a large deck. The bathroom has shower, tub and washer and dryer. Fresh clean white towels, and washcloths, hairdryer, hand soap, and some of the basic toiletry supplies are included. The tub is a deep whirlpool bathtub that requires care when accessing. The house features the original woodwork from the old farmhouse wood floors, staircase and the stained-glass window that transports you back to simpler days. Outside, the back deck has a propane gas grill, barbeque grill, and plenty of seating with patio furniture to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The backyard offers a laid-back lifestyle perfect for families, or anyone who wants to escape the stresses of daily life. For those who enjoy an active lifestyle, the house backs up to a bike path that extends over 11 miles long that will take you from Historic Cold Spring Village to Cape May County Park and Zoo. It is an asphalt path that passes through wooded areas, farmland where you can watch the horses graze, campgrounds, and wineries. Cape May County provides a wide variety of recreational activities, including golf, swimming, boating and biking and above all splendid days on the beach, perfect sunsets, and fun on the local boardwalks in the evening. The home is lifted and the water does go under the home. During the high tide the private beach of the home will be water, then it recedes again for a large beach area. There is also a public beach a few feet away and another beach area on the northern end of the street. The public beach a few feet away always has a beach even when our private beach is experiencing high tide. There is a 30" range with two ovens. One oven is a regular sized oven and the second is 30" wide but not as deep. The second smaller oven is great for reheating food. Our home does not have a microwave. There are 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. (One of these bedrooms is on the main floor, one of these bedrooms is one step down from the main floor in its own detached suite).
