Coombe House

We had a great time staying here. An excellent location, a very comfortable room with all the amenities we needed and a delicious breakfast each morning. David was a wonderful host who gave us plenty of recommendations, as well as a good laugh.

Excellent experience, would absolutely stay again. Host was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms were clean and well maintained and the food was great. The garden in front added the perfect touch of relaxation, and the location was a quick walk into the center of Bourton-on-the-Water.

Had THE best time at Coombe House. Dave, the host, was very welcoming and funny - on occasion - just kidding, there was lots of laughs and banter between him, my partner and myself. Dave, was very informative, recommending the best places to visit and also the best restaurants to eat at. He was spot on every time. The house is gorgeous. Very comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was fab. Lots of choice and more than enough to eat. 5 Stars from us and we can't wait to visit again - sorry Dave ha ha Mario & Sharen x

IS THERE AN INFINITY STAR RATING???!!! The perfect stay!!! We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed every second. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our host, David, who we immediately felt at home with. We were spoiled with coffee, cake, and good conversation prior to getting settled in our rooms. (David was also the bellhop that totes our luggage upstairs) The rooms were very clean, comfy, and cozy. If anything was wanted, had we even needed anything, it would have been provided. Breakfast was both, entertaining and delicious!!! Can definitely understand why we were not able to stay another night (a last min request-but do not let that deter you from asking!)--- because it is a popular destination!!!

Great spot to stay in the charming but busy village of Bourton on the Water. You can appreciate the village and restaurants but stay a short walk away in a quiet and very comfortable home. Parking in the back, excellent breakfast cooked to order in a breakfast room overlooking the front garden and cozy lounge to relax. Best of all (the reason we like to stay in BnBs) David was the perfect welcoming and knowledgeable host. Dining recommendations, walking guides and villages to visit - all spot on. My wife and I would highly recommend staying at the Coombe House.

This lovely cottage house is so homely. We were there for our anniversary, and it was a great stay. Rooms are cosy, and breakfast is delicious. Walking distance to the beautiful lake and Windrush walk.David (property owner) was so caring and extremely helpful.He helped guide us on our journey around the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend and visit again soon.
