數數學博士Vengo da Hong Kong (Cina) e ho soggiornato per 2 giorni a fine settembre 2023.
La posizione è un po' lontana dal porto vecchio ma comunque raggiungibile a piedi, ma attenzione, il quartiere non è sicuro. Non camminare mai da solo di notte. Dato che viaggiavo da solo, tornavo in albergo ogni sera.
Le disposizioni nella stanza sono sorprendentemente premurose. L'hotel fornisce tutti gli elettrodomestici di base, incluso un bollitore, un asciugacapelli, una tazza da tè, una piccola scrivania, ecc., e ci sono alcuni ganci, che sono molto comodi e utili.
Il letto è comodo e la temperatura della stanza è buona grazie all'aria condizionata.
A proposito del frigorifero, era spento e non in uso, e quando l'ho aperto c'era un cattivo odore. A quanto pare, il frigorifero era solo una decorazione.
La colazione era discreta, ma non posso lamentarmi perché era inclusa nel prezzo preventivato.
Nel complesso, consiglierei questo hotel. Se non sei solo, va bene. Se sei solo, per favore, non tornare di notte e se devi, guida!

RRick SipesL'hotel è una buona scelta per i viaggiatori con un'idea di bilancio, ma è un po' lontano dal centro della città. Ha preso circa mezz'ora a piedi per il giro, che è il centro di Aix. Tuttavia, lungo il percorso alla Rotonda ci sono molti caffè, negozi che vendono cibo, vino e pane. La strada è piuttosto diretta e conduce direttamente al Cours Mirabeau, il principale distretto di Aix, si può prendere un taxi dalla Rotonda all'hotel per 8 Euros. La colazione ha offerto una bella selezione di opzioni europee per la colazione e si può cenare sulla terrazza esterna nei giorni in cui è aperto. L'hotel non aveva strutture per lavare il bagno, ma c'è un servizio di pressione (pulizia secca) a pochi passi dall'hotel a Gambetta che farà lavare il bagno. Il mio più grande negativo personale è che dovete salire su un sentiero forte e poi alcune scale per raggiungere l'ingresso all'hotel. Se si può passare le scale attraverso il garage e prendere un ascensore al piano principale, è ancora necessario andare alla ricezione all'ingresso. Se si porta bagagli, è un treno. Sono ottanta, quindi alla fine di un giorno di cammino, salire sulla collina era una corsa.In ogni caso non è una cattiva scelta.

NNat 李凤临Cleaning ladies were demonstrating 53 days in front of the hotel when I arrived. The rotating door was covered with mud and confetti, while the black women danced to loud African beats. A complete shock! They continued during my stay…
The front desk was super helpful after I contacted their manager. My flight was delayed and I arrived a day late so they managed to modify my reservation without extra payment. My card didn’t work so I gave a cash deposit and they sent me an email when my suitcase that had been delayed arrived (so as not to wake me up).
The housekeeping was average- twice they didn’t restock the water. Once they forgot a cleaning chemical. Another time they didn’t restock the decaffeinated capsules. Also they could have been more generous with the toilet paper. It’s the very thin recycled one, that goes fast.
Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant spacious, with a garden overlooking the marina.
The room was large, modern and quiet, with an amazing view of the harbor, including both sunsets and sunrises! I even saw the incredible half an hour long fireworks for Bastille day right under my window!
The bed is big and comfortable, pillows a bit too soft, lighting is good but there are no toiletries (which was initially problematic due to the lost luggage).
Room service wasn’t available the only night that I wanted to order it - due to Bastille day celebrations.
The QR code don’t work on my phone so I had to call the reception to order. Also there was no alcoholic drinks listed, plus I had no fridge in the room, so I couldn’t fully relax and enjoy my holiday.
The hotel doesn’t have a spa, which is a shame. So I made a reservation online and got a massage in the Hammam spa a few minutes from the hotel)very expensive and not great). The closest one to the hotel was closed.
The pool is gorgeous but in another building which requires another elevator to be taken at the ground floor. A bit of a hassle…The gym is basic but good. Gets pretty busy and dirty at the end of the day.
There are many nice restaurants nearby and even a small Proxi shop. There is a bus stop 1min away, that goes to the Terrace du Port. And the taxi conveniently dropped me off right in front of the hotel.
The Mucem and Cosquer caves visible from the hotel, are a bit pleasant 25min walk away and the well worth the visit.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, and would come again if the above issues were resolved.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed in Sofitel Marseille for 3 nights in the summer of 2023.
The hotel is located right on the periphery of the old port of Marseille where all the shops and restaurants are located. It takes about a 15-minute walk to get from the hotel all the way to the centre of the old port so the hotel is fairly insulated from the hustle and bustle of the old port. The exterior of the hotel looks a bit dated but the interiors feel very fresh, clean and bright.
We upgraded our room to a deluxe room facing the old port at the reception and we thought it was worth it. We never tired of waking up to a view of the old port with a clear blue sky. The room itself was quite clean and spacious. There was enough room to open up two luggages and still move around comfortably. There is also a turn down service where the staff will put out the bedroom slippers and play some nice Jazz music when you come back.
The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. The only complaint we had was that the air conditioning would turn off in the middle of the night. The air conditioning control did not seem to work and it seems like the air conditioning is centrally controlled so the in-room controls did nothing. I could not sleep the first night as it was too warm and stuffy so we asked for a ventilateur (fan) the next day. That helped us to sleep better. Obviously, if you are planning to stay during the winter months then the heat at night should not be an issue.
The staff at the reception were always pleasant, warm, friendly and polite. We were upsold the room with a view when we checked in so that should say something about how friendly the staff were. It was EUR70 per night for the room with a view and it included overnight parking (EUR27 per night) so it was really only about EUR50 extra per night. The valet and the concierge were all very helpful and nice and they all speak English well enough.
If you intend to park here, do note that the roads within the hotel property can be quite narrow and the parking lots are quite narrow as well. It may be worthwhile getting the valet to help you park your car at least for the first day because driving from the car rental agencies at the Marseille train station to the hotel was stressful enough for us.
We paid around EUR300 - 350 a night but we thought it was worth it and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

FFatiha MASKALI-SCHNEIDERHotel molto ben posizionato, che permette di vedere diversi monumenti storici di Marsiglia con grande facilità e a piedi da quasi tutto, personale accogliente, tuttavia alcune osservazioni: assenza di lenzuolo sotto il piumone, in estate mettere un piumone caldo è inappropriato, il le camere meritano una piccola ristrutturazione, diversi buchi nella porta e sul muro, la doccia funzionava male, non molto degna di un 4° hotel, il letto di nostro figlio non era stato rifatto al nostro ritorno

UUtente ospiteThe location was not too far from the old port. The metro is easily accessible around the corner. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was ok but it is better to eat at a local bakery. If I am in Marseille again I would return here.

UUtente ospiteThis hotel has an absolutely amazing breakfast, it was included with the price we paid for our three nights of stay but one can pay ten euros per person per day for it. TOTALLY worth it, there were two hot food, we thought it was Continental Breakfast but there was so much food, we didn't even need to have lunch. There is this machine where you squeeze your own orange juice and it was FUN as you actually DIY!!! So many bread and croissants, pain au chocolat ... there was also organic milk, all local organic jams/spreads and a very nice espresso or coffee machine you can get hot chocolate and Cafe au Lait! You can make your own hard/medium/soft boiled egg! The service was great, the man at the front desk was very helpful and introduced me to places in the Marseille region that I can visit nearby. Room was small but I didn't come to Marseille to stay in a hotel room, water in the shower was hot and wifi works well! I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Marseille!!!

VVivian KempFirst time in Marseille. Fine to have stayed at this apartment but probably won't again.
I had to chase for the access instructions myself. Also annoying to have to go pick up the keys from Ibis (collection itself was quick), which is a 9-minute walk to the apartment. The fob worked but the 2 keys attached did not open any doors. Email instructions, while clear, were not entirely accurate - referring to going right when in fact I needed to find the apartment on the left.
Bit of drama one morning as I forgot my phone inside the apartment and had locked myself out. Had keys on me but the keys couldn't actually open the door, and of course I couldn't remember the super-secure 9-digit digital code! Only eventually managed to get in but asking a neighbour who thankfully was able to call the apartment manager. They should have given me working manual keys but never did.
Apartment itself was very clean. Lots of linen. Comfortable bedding in the bedroom as well as hidden under the sofa bed. Basic toiletries included. Washing machine worked. Heating was plenty sufficient. No dishwasher but not an issue as I did not cook much. (2 induction hob rings right against the wall which I didn't think was conducive to cooking anything more than the super basic, but fine for me this trip.)
Overall it was okay. Location super convenient, but I'd prefer somewhere quieter, where people and traffic noise wouldn't be so loud and go on after hours. Also somewhere without people relieving themselves next to large bins right outside the building's front door. Somewhere more pleasant...

UUtente anonimoLa persona a casa era molto simpatica e piacevole. La camera è super. Perfetto per un lungo soggiorno con lavanderia e tutto il comfort necessario.
Per prendere l'aereo, forse non è ideale se il vostro volo è presto la mattina, perché il primo bus passa solo alle 6 e l'hotel rimane ancora un po' lontano dall'aeroporto.
