The hotel is right across the road from the train station and tram/bus stops. I had a nice stay except for two things. First, the tap/shower water was too hot. A hotel staff showed me how to adjust the water temperature and said it was like this all in France. I of course disagree. I had stayed in two ibis hotels in Paris and Nantes just before checking in this Mercure. I had stayed in countless hotels throughout my 30 years of travels in Europe and had never encountered this "scalding water" issue. In any case, the solution was to let the water run an exceptionally long time till the very hot water ran out. Then I could adjust the temperature. I come from a place where people treasure fresh water and find this unacceptable. As the hotel take international guests, perhaps there should be notices/instructions in the bathroom on how to deal with this "scalding water" issue. Second, the coffee provided in the room was below expectation. A 4-star hotel should do better than that. I was glad about the kettle in the room, though.

Great hotel. Walking steps to main station. Beautiful city. Bathroom was excellent, only all tv chanells was all in french (no complain about it though). Arrived late night , the feont desk man was very polite, a true french person 😃.

Très bon hôtel à proximité de la gare! Petit déjeuner au top et le personnel au petit soin pour les clients.

A experiência no hotel foi ótima. Primeiramente, estávamos receosos em relação à localização, no entanto, o metro em frente ao hotel tornava tudo tão fácil e acessivel. Uma coisa que chamou a atenção foi não ter um balcão de recepção. Pensei que isso limitaria o serviço, porém, revelou um serviço simples e acolhedor feito por colaboradores eficientes e gentis. O desjejum também foi muito positivo, tanto pela variedade quanto pela qualidade dos alimentos. Sobre o que senti falta foi de um pouco mais de comodidades, como um frigobar no quarto e chinelos, por exemplo. Outra coisa que deixou a desejar foi a "vista da cidade" que era uma janela muito alta para observar, bem diferente do que se esperava pela descrição do quarto. E sobre o que mais gostei foi o quarto ser extremamente confortável e acolhedor, com bons acabamentos e um conjunto de cores e luzes muito bem escolhidos. O banheiro era excelente além de revelar um ótimo serviço de limpeza. E a cama.... a cama... era perfeita e superou as expectativas em relação ao tamanho, conforto e qualidade dos lençois e travesseiros. Foi uma excelente estadia.

séjour de 4 nuits pour découvrir bordeaux et st-emilion. chambre calme, grande et confortable. petit déjeuner moyen. proche gare SNCF et transports en commun. pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre.

服務員非常友善，但是酒店這個硬件設施卻掛了四星，不敢恭維。

Stanza enorme. Proprio dall'altra parte della strada rispetto al treno. Albergo moderno. Ottimo servizio troppo. Ci tornerei volentieri

All'arrivo, siamo stati accolti in modo piacevole ed efficiente. Abbiamo trovato un calzino (dagli ultimi residenti) sul balcone e abbiamo visto un appendiabiti sotto il letto. Avevamo pagato la colazione ma entrambe le mattine il personale non poteva finanziare la prenotazione e la seconda sera la chiave della nostra camera non funzionava e abbiamo aspettato un po' di tempo mentre veniva risolto... questo è stato attribuito a "sistemi". La colazione offriva una buona varietà e l'hotel è molto comodo per la stazione/fermate del tram.

Excellent location and very friendly restaurant staff. However, bathroom floor was not cleaned on a daily basis (during our 4 night stay it was not cleaned). Trash was also taken out on alternate day.

Close to both train and tram, good breakfast. Big good room. Service was good and personal very helpful and always there when I need them.

Welcoming staff, right accross the street of the St. Jean rail station.

Modern, well run property. Newly renovated room, comfortable bed, good shower, all amenities. Highly recommend.
