Only a 12 mile from downtown and Appalachian State University the brand new La Quinta Inn and Suites Boone is a beautiful mountain lodge with a spectacular view of the Appalachian mountains. Enjoy the tranquility of the mountains take a leisurely drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway spend a day on one of the many rivers in the area fishing or rafting take a hike on one of the many trails and enjoy some of the waterfalls the wildlife flora and the spectacular views. In the winter ski on the Appalachian Sugar and Beech Mountains Slopes all in close proximity of the lodge. Visit the wildlife center and the Mile High Swing Bridge on Grandfather Mountain and take a day to visit Tweetsie Railroad for a fun-filled day with the kids. After a day of adventure come back to the hotel and go for a refreshing swim in the heated indoor pool relax in the soothing whirlpool. Seal the deal in one of our three meeting facilities. Staff were friendly and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Only issue was a loud banging from the mini fridge which occurred sporadically throughout the night. Also, we heard more road noise than ever before. Next time we’ll ask for parking lot side. This was first time to ever have any issue. Usually it’s A+!

Booked this property for the hot tub and the hot tub was shut down even though it wasn’t advertised on the website. Would have booked the holiday inn Boone in that case

Wonderful hotel, close to everything. Unfortunately the hotel was remodeling the spa so we were not able to use the hot tub.
The breakfast was excellent.

Hotel was good but the shower tub was making lot of noise while having shower. Complimentary breakfast items can be increased with more choices.

Very nice hotel. The breakfast area needed more than one person to handle the amount of guests. If pets are going to be allowed there should be on area for all pets…we were woke to 2 mornings by barking dogs.

Hotel was nice. Our toilet was broken and the shower floor squeaked really bad. Maintenance was not available so they had to make shift a handle so we could use the toilet. Was not a huge fan of all the dogs and the noise. Luckily we did pack a sound machine for our kids that muffled a lot of the barking. Hated the hot tub was under construction. We had booked based on the pool and the hot tub. Would have been nice if it had been posted online.

Stayed two nights for a ski trip and it was great. Breakfast included and a hot tub to soak in after skiing. Driving distance is easy to both Sugar Mountain and Beech mountain. Multiple places to eat in town.

It was good. The bath tub could use some work. It sounds like youre going to fall through it. The hot water did not work in the shower only in the bath tub. Very strange.

We have a 7 and 9 year old and just wanted to get away to a place that has a pool and hot tub and do some local attractions.
