The title says it’s all really. This place cares about its patrons and really goes out of its way to ensure you have a comfortable and luxurious stay. We stayed in the Princess Margaret suite which was beautiful. Lavishly decorated and a stunning bathroom - we were very comfortable indeed (the bed was devine). All the staff we encountered were truly hospitable - a credit to the hotel. A special note of thanks for the housekeeping staff, who I think were the friendliest I’ve ever encountered! We will certainly be returning and will be recommending the hotel to family and friends.

It was excellent couldn't fault anything about our experience at Plas Dinas. The service was outstanding by all members of staff especially Liam,they were all so friendly. Our whole dining experience was exceptional and the food was so flavoursome. The whole house and bedrooms were very comfortable with lots of attention to detail. We loved it all.

Wonderful location. Former home of Lord Snowdon and weekend retreat for Princess Margaret. Exquisitely furnished rooms, friendly and accommodating staff and an award winning Gunroom restaurant which is featured in the Michelin Guide. Hotel of the year in North Wales since 2021.

I recently visited for a romantic overnight break with my partner, we get very little time away from our beautiful children and so we take our time to research and pick the best place we can. I follow Condè Nast Johansens and when I viewed their recent post I realised Plas Dinas had won Best Hotel for Romance in the UK at their recent awards. We chose to stay in their Lady Armstrong Jones room. It was elegant, fresh, light, well appointed, designed with comfort and luxury and when we opened the door to the bathroom, we nearly cried. It was AMAZING!!! We had dinner that evening on the 8pm sitting, arriving 30 mins prior for canapès. We thought the meal was incredible and full of flavour. Clearly a place much loved by the team. The affection for Plas Dinas was clear from the moment we arrived. We spoke with the housekeepers who are so passionate. Thank you so much for a wonderful, memorable stay. We will be back as soon as we can.

We arrived to enjoy the Snowdon afternoon tea served in the dining room, followed by additional tea in the drawing room where we retired for the afternoon. At 7pm we returned to the drawing room for dinner with canapès served from 7.30pm, we were just a little early as we wished for a pre dinner cocktail. Service throughout was phenomenal. The old fashioned style caring nature with a modern twist. They are a wonderful team with remarkable knowledge of delivery. Not too much, just the right nod to perfection without being stuffy. Dinner as always is stunning. They have a wonderful team of chefs who even in the lsst few months have notably moved into the relms of a michelin star. I had the turbot and caviar to start with welsh beef for main andcaramelised apple and custart tart with cinnamon donut and calvados ice cream. It is always up there with one of the best meals i have ever had but it just keeps getting better. The place is so well looked after, loved from the inside out and each time i return i love it even more. I will be back in March if I can actually get a reservation. It is getting booked up so far in advance. Fully deserved too.

We cannot fault this beautiful place. The rooms are all beautiful, the team could not have been more helpful (without being OTT) and the wine and food were excellent. The evening meal was full of lovely surprises and the breakfast was perfect.

Been here a few times over the years and my aunt is a frequent visitor and normally we have always been treated pleasantly. My aunt had given us vouchers which unfortunately expired a few weeks ago so we contacted plas dinas but they would not honor them.. So much for looking after loyal local customers Will not be going back

Booked for the festive afternoon tea and we weren’t disappointed! Sandwiches were delectable, especially the ham with pear chutney. The cakes were equally tasty, and so many we couldn’t finish it all. The festive mulled wine was a lovely touch, and not too overpowering of clove either. We’d definitely go back

What a fantastic dining experience. The food was presented beautifully, the different courses were wonderful. One of the best meals we have had, if not the best. We all enjoyed the evening from arriving to leaving. Plas Dinas is well worth visiting. Thank you Rupert for looking after us and making the evening special.
