Stayed here for two nights on a work trip. Quick and friendly check in. Room is large and very comfortable. Nice bathroom. Lovely view over a lake from bedroom with balcony to sit out. Breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Breakfast buffet has really good choice and staff in restaurant and bar area are great. Loads of free parking and free WiFi. If you like a stroll great walks from the rear of the hotel in some lovely countryside. All in all highly recommended.

Great stay before the Fiets Elfstedentocht 2024 - only 8 miles from the start line along great cycle paths which were well used even at 0400am. Staff helpful throughout particularly over the number of riders taking bikes into their rooms - and doubly considerate when we all arrived back in a rainstorm with wet bikes. Staff in the bar all helpful and service was quick everywhere. Great outside decking area to have a drink watching the lake.

Large Room with shower, bath. Cosy twoseater, TV with a lot of broadcasting possibilities. Coffee and Thee at the room. Very luxurous breakfast. We enjoyed one evening a tastefull dinner The staff is friendly and willing to help and advice you. The bar is great. Hotel is 5 minutes drive from the nice city center of Sneek. Half an hour from Leeuwarden. We enjoyed it very much; recommended

Very good and and well run hotel,very clean staff friendly and effecient large rooms, bathroom with bath and separate shower ,with lots of amenities, very comfortable beds,lovely sun terrace and a very good restaurant. Restaurant service and food excellent. Would most likely stay again.

Live in Sneek and had the breakfast buffet here. Loved it! Enough choice, plenty of good for everyone. The staff is friendly and fast, but don't really have an eye for personal attention. I didn't mind, but I can imagine some people would like that. The restaurant itself is bit, not really cozy, but the tables are big enough and the seats are nice. Outside is a lovely terrace and after you can go for a walk in the park next to it.

We booked the room with dinner, breakfast, and bike rental the next day. The staff are very nice. The food was wonderful, and the biking was the best of all. We rode into the town and then through the cow pasture behind the hotel. Beautiful town and beautiful woods. The room was very clean. The bathroom has a comfortable tub and a nice shower. My only suggestion is to use your google translate on the menus if you speak English. The waitress who translated did a good job, but when I read the menu later, I realized I had missed options that I would have definitely ordered if I knew what they were. I ended up wasting an appetizer because I didn't understand what I was ordering, but the rest of the meal was lovely. My steak was an excellent cut of meat. I loved the town of Sneek and want to go back (hotel included).

5 dagen in Van Der Valk Sneek verbleven. We hadden de nieuwe luxe kamer. - grote kamer -goede matras -bubbelbad -regendouche -aparte wc -geen last van lawaai op gang of omgeving -ontbijt uitgebreid en lekker -hotel overal proper, personeel behulpzaam -fietsstalling voor elektrische fiets ( oplaadpunt ) -grote parking -diner a la carte : lekker en correcte prijs Hotel dat zijn prijs waard is. Omgeving ideaal voor fietsen.

Deels verbouwd. Mooie grote kamers, heerlijke stortdouche. Ruime parking goed verlichtte parking. Dicht aan de snelweg vrijwel zonder geluidsoverlast. Op 2 kilometer van het centrum van Sneek. Ideaal gelegen voor een city trip of een verkenning van Friesland.
