Hotel in zona beach Ruža, Bol

Fare recensioni negative non mi piace perché immagino sempre che dietro un posto ci siano Persone che lavorano. Ma credo che recensire onestamente debba, non solo aiutare il viaggiatore a scegliere conoscendo i pro e i contro di una struttura, ma anche chi la gestisce ad aggiustare il tiro (se vuole). Mi sono sforzata anche di ricordare se nelle mie esperienze di viaggio la negatività abbia superato quello che ho vissuto in questo posto, questa le batte tutte. Parto dal pro: la vicinanza sia al mare che al centro, tutto raggiungibile a piedi (ma bisogna anche considerare la struttura di Bol, così piccola, da ritrovare questa peculiarità un po’ ovunque). La struttura e’ piena di gradini a cui stare attenti (inutile dire che per un diversamente abile e’ impensabile andarci). E scale. Non ci sono ascensori e nemmeno la premura al check in di aiutarti con i bagagli. Noi eravamo al secondo piano, non oso immaginare per chi deve raggiungere il terzo. Stanza piccola, essenziale e soprattutto rumorosa. Fa rumore il condizionatore (e non e’ un rumorino da poco) e - nella mia stanza - anche l’accensione della luce in bagno scatenava un rumore assordante. Di notte, quindi, e’ stata meglio non accenderla e stare attenti ovviamente all’ennesimo gradino, presente anche in bagno, aiutandosi con la torcia del telefono. Veniamo alla notte da incubo (espressione calzante più che mai ) che mi ha portata ad una riflessione. La struttura dalle 23 alle 7 del mattino non ha reception, e’ incustodita praticamente. Non viene dato nemmeno un codice per entrare, il cancello d’ingresso, quindi, e’ aperto e accessibile a tutti. Riflessione che non avrei fatto se non avessi vissuto quanto accaduto. A mezzanotte il primo risveglio: qualcuno rientra probabilmente ubriaco visti gli schiamazzi e le urla. All’una e trenta altro risveglio perché qualcuno prova ad entrare in una stanza bussando ed urlando. Alle due e trenta l’apoteosi: nel pieno del sonno ripreso a fatica, qualcuno con forza prova ad aprire la nostra stanza e poi bussa con veemenza. Inutile descrivere lo spavento ed il cuore in gola, decidiamo di non aprire e ci fermiamo a chiedere chi e’. Nessuna risposta. Qualcuno rimane fuori la porta per qualche minuto (evidente l’ombra dei piedi) per poi andare via. Io ho avuto difficoltà a riprendere sonno per la paura, la rabbia e le mille riflessioni che si possono fare dopo un episodio simile. Mi sono chiesta se fosse qualcuno che sbagliando stanza (probabilmente ubriaco) ha provato per errore ad entrare nella nostra, qualcuno che aveva perso le chiavi: ovviamente senza una reception se hai qualche problema ad entrare, te la devi risolvere in qualche modo e qualcuno può scegliere soluzioni disperate: il nostro balcone era attaccato a quello della stanza accanto, o se fosse qualcuno che aveva bisogno di spaventare intenzionalmente, se si e’ trattato di un estraneo entrato nella struttura e mi sono chiesta anche - se per dimenticanza - non avessimo chiuso la porta - cosa

Lovely 10 days in Bol staying at Bluesun Borak. Rooms have been refurbished and are modern, clean and lovely! Important little things like proper hairdryer!! USB charger points - 3! And pool towels provided. Hotel staff all pleasant and helpful. All areas lovely and clean. Food is what I expected, not fabulous but perfectly good! Just need to be checking and replenishing more often. Would I come back - absolutely yes. Perfect location! Just loved Bol!

We spent 4 wonderful night here a couple of weeks ago. It’s beautifully small with only 15 rooms meaning it’s quiet and intimate with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The room was lovely with plenty of space and all you need. We had a top floor room which meant the roof slope interferes into the room and the shower was a bit awkward as a consequence. The outside terrace was lovely for drinks, dinner and breakfast although watch out for the mosquitos so take your repellent with you! The breakfast buffet was lovely and there was a choice of eggs or pancakes too. We had dinner twice and the food was good and reasonable value although our fillet steak was closer to well done than medium. The village is lovely and quiet and not busy even when the boats arrive and has a couple of places to drink as well as a pizza restaurant and another more rustic restaurant further around the bay. A perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Questo posto è bellissimo! Sono molto impressionato dal layout con 3 piscine, 2 ristoranti, accesso diretto al mare, club per bambini che funzionano due volte al giorno e attività per adattarsi alla tua personalità. Il nostro alloggio forestale era molto pulito e confortevole con vista bella. Ci siamo trasferiti una settimana e è stato difficile andare. I ristoranti hanno una grande varietà e presentazione di piatti con personale amichevole e attento. La squadra di intrattenimento è fantastica e così creativa! Ogni giorno è stata piena di energia divertente e positiva. Grazie a Magix, Dino, Mera, Hugo e Jasna per aver guardato noi e i nostri bambini che già tanto mancano di te. Abbiamo avuto una grande e molto rilassante esperienza e vorremmo tornare di nuovo!

Where do I even start. This hotel has been the most incredible experience for me and my partner from the moment we arrived to the moment we left this morning. The receptionists have been so so helpful from showing us to our room, taking our bags for us, giving us a small tour of the building and giving us so much information to help us with our stay. They have helped us book excursions and gave us reasonable prices for what it was worth. We did the zip lining at €65pp and prepared us with what would be useful during the day and helped us with getting a transfer to the Omiš town. We also did a whole day tour which included visiting 4 different islands at €125pp, we visited the Blue Cave, Blue lagoon, Vis, Hvar, and Carpe Diem, spending 7am-6pm exploring (once again given a transfer to Split). These experiences were a once in a lifetime and we are so grateful we were able to experience them. If you’re visiting this hotel please ask about what excursions they have to offer!! There were so many. The hotel receptionists and housekeeping staff also helped me decorate the room for our anniversary (I provided the decor) and did this whilst we were out for the day. This was such a surprise and they even added small touches from themselves such as notes and crafted towels. So thoughtful! The food and drinks were all incredible and once again reasonably priced. We were able to put everything onto our room which was so easy to pay at the very end, this was such a relief for us as we didn’t have to worry about sorting bills every day. The hotel was always spotless, and had amazing facilities such as an indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzis, steam rooms and a wellness centre. The indoor pool was always quiet for us to relax when we had a long day, and the pools always had plenty of beds - we never had to fight for them lol. Most nights the hotel had live entertainment of incredible musicians which was always nice to listen to before we went up to our room on the night. Overall, this hotel was so surreal and we couldn’t thank them enough for such a wonderful stay. Thank you! From Room 1403
