Akkan Hotel

It was a nightmare.They gave us a room right next to the kitchen. They slammed the door in the morning everyday multiple times. We couldnt even sleep at all. In the morning we realized that we had 2 cockrouches in the room.

Die Lage ist sehr gut und schön. Freundliche personal ausser Hôtel Inhaberin war ziemlich sauer auf eigene Mitarbeiter das finde ich sehr arrogant. Frühschicht war auch gut. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung außer dass das hotel mehr Sauberkeit braucht.

Hôtel avec charme extérieur Chambre petite manque de place Bon emplacement on peut tout faire a pied Plage loin 15 min de marche. Bien demander les serviettes à la réception avant d y aller.

Excellent service! I wish in every hotel we could have such nice and helpful people. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel location was good, close to beach shops and bars but would definitely be very noisy in high season. It also has a children's play area infront and a school next to it. The first room we were allocated was dirty, the patio windows were difficult to open and then wouldn't close properly and were very dirty. The table and chairs on the balcony were not clean and actually looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The fridge was leaking and had the previous occupiers half empty water bottle in it! We complained and was moved to another room on the floor above The patio doors opened and closed in this room but the table and chairs on the balcony were as dirty as the ones in the previous room. The fridge was ok in this room. There was no electric socket to boil the kettle on the desk where it was situated so had to put it on the floor by the side of the bed. The shower cubicle was very dirty around the drain hole and along the shower doors. The whole place needs redecorating and a good clean. The breakfast was a good choice Turkish buffet but the downside was all of the sliding windows were open so it was cold and so breakfast wasn't a relaxing start to the day as the Winter sun wasn't on that part of the building until later. Bodrum is lovely but wouldn't to back to this hotel again The directions we followed from ********** booking page actually sent us to the wrong Akkan Hotel. There is more than one Akkan....and the name is very deceiving as luxury it isn't

The location can’t be beaten - perfect. We had booked a room with a balcony, if we were only here for a weekend, it would have been perfect, lovely views, but as it was a longer stay we always look for good outdoor space, the size of room not important for us. this is a city hotel and the balcony will only fit one chair for one person. The Manager kindly agreed to allow us to move rooms so we could get the extra outdoor space. if going back i would definitely look at either the suite or check for a sea view balcony. Others have mentioned cleanliness and smells - the plumbing seems to be an issue in a few places we went to in the area and work is in place to fix. cleanliness - no idea what happened with others, but the housekeeping staff worked so hard - they were at rooms every single day to change sheets and towels if you wanted - we tend to go for every third day - the place was extremely clean. Breakfast - turkish cold buffet style - plenty of it, a little more fruit would have been ideal, maybe some cold drinks available - but the food was fresh and plentiful so very small point and no complaints. The beds were fantastic and very comfy The staff were all lovely and extremely helpful - i would go back just because of that point alone!

Good located in the city, near to the beach and also to all the shops and restaurants. Nice hotel with a good breakfast and very nice staff. Recommended for a stay in Bodrum!

The complimentary breakfast was perfect. The staff was very nice and accommodating. While the beach isnt attached to the hotel, you can walk to their sister hotel to access the beach. We would definitely stay again!
