Pure TRASH. Any good reviews about this place are all lies and/or staged. The online pictures are also lies and must be pics when the hotel was 1st built. It is completely NASTY. I don't have any issues with the Comfort Inn brand, I just have a issue with this NASTY location. We had the unfortunate experience to have had a canceled flight by one of the airlines and the airlines housed use in this place. As soon as we pulled up on the hotel van, I knew it was going to be an issue. The outside looked like a junk yard and there was a homeless man standing at the entrance holding a sign begging for money. They claim it is a ”smoke free” hotel, but the place reeked of smoked. I was so turned off ON SIGHT that I immediately got on the phone with airlines complaining about the hotel as well complaining to the hotel. Then once we got to the room, it was shocking. So disgusting that we refused to sleep on the beds. We all used our coats to lay her heads on the pillow and my son slept in the chair in his room (again refusing to sleep on the bed). The bed didn't look clean. We slept in our clothes because I wasn't going to dare use the shower or sink. Yuck, yuck and yuck. The hotel has airport shuttle, but the inside of the van looks like it has never been cleaned EVER. I have a yorkie and a chihuahua at home and I wouldn't even be comfortable letting my dogs stay at this hotel. The airline that put us up here so really vet their places better. You have been warned....DO NOT STAY HERE. RUN FAR FAR AWAY. You're welcome!!!

Based solely on price to value, this would be 3.5 stars out of 5. Bedding, towels, and floor were clean, but the room smelled of decades of cigarette smoking. Opening the window and running the air helped. Continental breakfast is cereal, bread, or pancakes, but at least they had some sad-looking fruit. Front desk was friendly.

Great place to stay. The staff are very accommodating. The rooms are clean and updated. You can cast shows to the TV from your phone. The bathroom is clean and spacious. They serve good warm breakfast everyday too. The location is very close to Mall of America and Ikea. Just a 5 minute drive and you won’t have to worry about driving in the busy Minneapolis. It’s also not too far away from the outlet mall. The shuttle service will take care of you. The shuttle driver John is very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely book again next time.

Presently surprised. Our room was clean the beds were comfortable the staff was AMAZING! What more could you ask for! They offer a free shuttle and are accommodating to their guest needs. We had a great trip! We visited the mall of America and decided to eat at some of the locally owned restaurants less then 10 miles away vs the many chain restaurants in the area. I would stay here again.
