Easy to find. Close to Hay on Wye, just right for Hay festival. The most wonderful and warm hosts, with the 'four legged' hosts being quite a delight too! Room was quiet, warm, airy, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom lovely, with fresh towels, shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. A wonderful touch of some superb Artisan chocolates on the bed from the Hay festival. After a lovely night's rest, breakfast was served at your 'own time slot', homemade museli, with yogurt and berries then the best 'Full English' (not just in Wales) I have had in many a long while, with home made bread, home made beans in a tomatoey sauce, locally sourced sausages bacon and eggs. I haven't stayed in a B&B for well over 40yrs, some lovely guest staying in this familys fabulous home, and we all put the world to rights... what a treat!! You won't find any better, and you won't be more well looked after, or more welcome. #The Archers podcast at the Hay festival was really enjoyable too..

Great bed and breakfast in beautiful historic home, hosted by Fiona and James who were welcoming and very friendly. The room we stayed in was extremely comfortable and very well equipped, with everything you might need. The breakfast was top notch and Fiona and James were incredibly hospitable making sure that our breakfast choices were provided. Excellent all round! Highly recommend!

What an excellent place to stay. The hosts, Fiona and James, were really welcoming and friendly. The bed was soooo comfy and the log burner made us feel really cosy. We weee made to feel special. Breakfast was scrumptious. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend

A beautiful apartment with all home comforts and parking onsite. Fiona and James are great hosts and so welcoming to their 'home'. Excellent breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if in the area. We would highly recommend.

Great place to stay. I stayed for 2 nights whilst on a local fishing trip. They were really friendly and accommodating, asked me what time I wanted breakfast. Really nice cooked breakfast set me up for the day nicely. Really nice rooms, well kept, very clean and tidy with everything you could ever need available. Great nights sleep both nights. Friendly pub with food just down the road. Italian restaurant a very short drive away. Couldn’t ask for more. I would definitely like to go back.

We visited for one night in early September and had a lovely sleep followed by a delicious breakfast before we set off on our way. A warm welcome and chat introduced us to the hosts and we were lucky enough to meet the dogs and one of the cats, Pickles, who decided to help us make sure the room was as it should be and to her taste :) The bathroom was excellent and the room was beautifully clean. We’d definitely stay here again.

Delightful homely setting in a lovely trees garden with a back deck, wee bar, pizza oven(!) and snug sunken seating area with a central fire pit. Really tasty home made beer and pizza - fab combo! Friendly conversation with chef / owner / fellow fishing enthusiasts only topped by lovely night sleep in a charming room and gourmet duck egg breakie! Thank you for a perfect ending and beginning on our journey!

What a wonderful B&B! Fiona and James are terrific hosts providing a very high standard of service and comfort. From the welcoming cup of tea to our departure everything worked perfectly. Very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, with good shower,the tea/coffee tray exceptionally well stocked, the breakfast choices were imaginative and for an evening meal there is a busy pub 150 yards down the road. Fiona was really helpful posting a phone we had left behind back to us.i would love to stay there again.
