Hotel in zona St Bernadette’s Church, Blackpool

From walking in until departure we had a great experience, we stayed in room 300 a ground floor accessible room, our grown up daughter who has ASD , was able to sleep in the same room as my wife and I ( I am also disabled ) , the room was big and the bathroom with wet floor shower and an adapted bath ( with a low level door to get in ) was big enough to fit another double bed, The Breakfast was fresh every morning and there was always someone keeping an eye out to top-up when running low, all staff were very helpful with any enquiry / issue we had and attended to it as soon as was possible, a big thank you to Nicola and Alex at Breakfast, I would mention everyone else but can't remember their name, my only negative comment would be that even though we went in September to see the illuminations, there could have been more staff, 2 main for breakfast, 1 for evening restaurant ( who also was attending to the bar , assisting with reception and in kitchens ). The hotel & Staff were great and we plan to stay there again .

Breakfast is great, plenty of choices to eat. It is a clean and very new hotel. The location is perfect, whether you have a car or without a car. Only one thing was disappointing for the housekeeping. They come to clean but never clean the bathroom.

Arrived early to a cheerful greeting from owner Tony.. space made straight away in the free spaces in front of the hotel for our car… Checked in by the daughter in law (sorry forgot your name).. Tony returned , asked our names which he never forgot the whole of our stay..(nice gesture) & showed us to our room which was clean,compact & comfortable… We were ready to go out for the evening & it was absolutely pouring down . Tony’s son (Jay I think?)kindly offered to ring for a taxi for us & it arrived in minutes. (No just pointing numbers out on the notice board) Bed was really comfortable,no springs poking through haha & we slept really well. The whole hotel was beautiful & warm the whole of our stay.. Breakfast was spot on. Cooked to perfection & plenty of it. John asked for a drink of water with his & the second day there was another glass of water on the table ready for him (so thoughtful).. We came here as strangers & really felt like family when we left.. Thank you all for your hospitality,friendliness & a fun filled visit.. We will definitely be back in the future..

Tutto sul nostro soggiorno era fantastico ben accolto quando ci siamo arrivati, la stanza era bella e pulita, le strutture brillanti, mai un cattivo soggiorno hotel è bellissimo, il personale è sempre così bello e il divertimento era brillante sarà prenotare Ancora presto il miglior hotel a Blackpool non voleva lasciare sempre un piacere di rimanere lì mio figlio davvero piaceva voleva tornare già tutti voi prendete cura di prenotare di nuovo presto potreste tenermi aggiornato con il divertimento che è sul per il resto del anno

Niente di male con l'hotel in generale, ma il parcheggio è £18 per notte!!!!! Un totale RIP-OFF!! Nessuno ci ha detto che il parcheggio sarebbe costato così tanto! Tutto quello che ha detto sul sito web Trip.com è stato pagato parcheggio, che non si aspetta di essere £18 per notte!!!! Molto deludente e ha rovinato il nostro viaggio a Blackpool. Non pensare che torneremo a questo hotel!!

Great little stay hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very decent in size perfect to have 2 double beds. Rooms were very clean and bright. Tram is a must if the weather is bad! Luckily there's a stop just across the road from the hotel as its 45 mins walk from here to north Pier

When we arrived the barrier was down. We had to do that awkward thing of move the car over as far as you can and then stretch to reach the button to contact staff. Unfortunately the staff member who answered the gate intercom was a little hard to understand and she cut us off rather abruptly with the gate still remaining down. We pressed again and the gate allowed access. We checked in and I advised that I had already paid online via paypal. The staff advised that any payment was not an actual payment rather a hold - I would still need to pay again. If you use paypal you will know it takes several days to show on your account so I could neither prove nor disprove their claims. We got to our room and were pleased to be in an annexe as there was a wedding going on. Nice room size etc kettle, coffee machine, mugs, tea and biscuits. I checked in the bathroom for glasses and there were none available - I would assume that a hotel charging over £100 per night would at least supply plastic cups or proper glasses to drink water from. There was plenty of storage available and a decent hairdryer. The shower was nice - however the glass door was not long enough to prevent significant amounts of water hitting the floor - the bath mat was sodden. The shower tray and grout work as well as an area near the radiator had mould/blackening to it. There was also a random hole in the ceiling - possibly an old leak? The food was great although it took a while to arrive. I did ask for mild peppercorn sauce and no mushrooms - my food arrived with mushrooms and no peppercorn sauce. We left the restaurant believing that the meal would be added to the room - a member of staff followed us out advised that many people may have sat at the table and they needed a room number (this was given when we arrived at the restaurant) and could we pay now?!; perhaps they need a better booking/checking system in place? We then went through to the bar there were several tables which had been left with glasses on them. They were only removed when we sat at one of these tables, the table remained unwiped. The two staff on didn't come over to see if we wanted more drinks and didn't interact with other people who were hovering also intending to purchase drinks. I eventually took my chair and sat in front of the bar waiting for the staff to return from a patrol; neither asked if they could help so I shouted over. I believe this is indicative more of a lack of training in customer service than rudeness. Children from the wedding were becoming a nuisance by this point and were pretty much unchallenged by staff. They were running in and out, up and down stairs taking milk from the fridges and leaving plastic rings on the floor. They made enough noise to be heard on at least the first floor as the fire doors were help open by magnets. In our room we hoped for peace and quiet only to be left disappointed by music echoing over from the wedding - this finished just before midnight. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The gym was lovely and quiet at 8am although the sauna hadn't quite heated up when we headed in there around 8.40ish. Breakfast was mostly tasty - the black pudding lacked any flavour - the scrambled eggs and hash browns were great. The tea was the wrong colour and tasted like very cheap teabags. There were bits of chips on the floor from the food service the night before.

The hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was chaotic e.g. long wait for table (despite being asked to pick a timeslot and being there at that time), nothing to bring milk to your table, the hot water urn being empty, some of the breakfast items had run out, etc. I would stay there again. WARNING - parking is expensive £15 a night, unless you booked your room directly with the hotel. Travel websites might save you a few quid but check first. You have been warned!
