Harlands Hotel

Nice wee hotel this. A little out of the way but tram stop basically right outside the door so this wasn’t really too much of an issue. Staff friendly enough and just let to your own devices without them bothering you all the time. Would happily stay here again.

Too far away from city centre no food not even vending machine

It is what it is you get what you pay for but if your whant ing a more modern hotel and more central I would choose another as this hotel is far away and requires trams into black to get to place on the other hand if you whant peace n quiet this is ok cheap n cheer full

I don't like writing bad reviews, but... arrived at the hotel, the guy at reception was very nice and gave information about the hotel. Went to the rooms we had booked, didn't really take much notice apart to drop the bag off, then went into town. You need to get the tram / bus taxi as a its a little too far out to walk into the town. Returned around 10 ish. Went to My room, which was a standard double...see front. There was a really bad smell coming from the bathroom, which seemed to spread to the main area, and also, the bedding on the bed also smelt like this. Also, a cheap blind which might of well not been there.. Around 10.30 all I can was boom boom music either from the hotel or the apartment next door, this continued until around 4.30am...the window in the bedroom was broken so heard all the traffic and trams going past. Which at least nubbed the music for a few minutes. The bathroom was very dated and also smelt terrible, with blood and dirt on the wall.. there are a lot of places to stay in Blackpool and I really wouldn't recommend this. I travelled with my dad, who is 70, and he didn't sleep due to the music/ noise. Door's where slamming all night. I am aware this might not have been in the hotel and may have been the apartment next door. But still, we had no sleep all night. As a family visiting Blackpool, I don't think this is the place for you. I literally left at 8am due to not sleeping and the tram waking me up at 6.30am or I would have spoken to the owner regarding these issues, but no one was there until 10am to report it. With a bit of refurbishment and the type of guesses they let book, then I think it could be a lot better.

We paid £46 for the night so knew we wouldn’t be getting five star. Good points The staff were friendly Free parking Clean bedding and towels Cheap rate Right opposite tram Bad points Rooms need renovating badly Window didn’t close properly Bedroom door lock was a bit dodgy The hotel is a good few miles from the main ***** but the tram gets you there handy. You can walk if it’s nice and you don’t mind it but would take around an hour walk from the pier Hope this is helpful - to summarise if you’re going for a quick night and don’t mind a cheap and cheerful room go for it, if you’re expecting luxury spend more

The man went out his way to help you he moved us from back room to a seaview room which was better for my grandkids the breakfast was lovely even for me being fussy would stay again it was clean and secure
