Hotel in zona Anvil Rock - Blackheath, Blackheath

Brilliant little motel, clean, walking distance from amenities, cafes and pubs. The owner was really nice. We were attending a wedding and she kindly printed off a speech for us! Parking in front of the rooms, fridge / kettle / minibar and a few tv channels. Relatively new bathroom with walk in shower. Would definitely recommend

I had lunch today in Hotel Eticos restaurant with a group of 17 people for a Yuletide Celebration. The thoughtful little touches of Christmas decorations, little iced Christmas cakes on the table & home made star cookies hanging on the tree completed the beautiful ambiance, along with the cozy fire!. We had a 2 course set Yuletide menu. The food was of generous portions & was absolutely delicious. Dietary restrictions were not a problem & our lactose & dairy free member was well catered for. The service was spectacular. The staff were extremely friendly & nothing was too much trouble. We were all very well looked after. All of our group had a wonderful time. Jamie ci ha dato il miglior saluto che abbiamo mai avuto al check-in, era caldo e amichevole all'arrivo, e ci ha chiesto se sapevamo la zona e se cercavamo qualcosa di particolare. Ha poi preso il tempo per sottolineare le specifiche località su una mappa che sarebbe ideale per la nostra avventura fotografica. Siamo arrivati al mattino e Jamie aveva il riscaldamento in camera nostra e le luci in camera nostra, e questo è stato molto apprezzato in una fredda serata di Katoomba. La stanza era molto pulita e il letto era comodo, La grande bagno è stata recentemente ristrutturata con acqua calda nel doccia. Non esitaremmo a rimanere qui di nuovo e intendiamo farlo in futuro.

Il tempo è stato davvero meraviglioso a Carrington. Il fascino del mondo vecchio e il carattere del patrimonio dell'hotel è stato conciliato con il personale amichevole e utile. Abbiamo tutti avuto un bel tempo e abbiamo intenzione di renderlo un evento annuale.

Uno di quel genere. Questo hotel ha un'atmosfera meravigliosa, il personale è piacevole niente è stato troppo problema. Il colazione era perfetto e Ling la nostra cameriera era deliziosa. Non posso difettare questo hotel, e ho soggiornato in molti in tutto il mondo. Grande servizio clienti, pulito, il fascino del mondo vecchio al suo meglio, vicino a tutte le attrazioni e cibo e bellissimi luoghi di fuoco per tenervi caldi. Sarei rimasto più sicuro.

Stayed in the two bedroom unit. Kitchen has all the basics. Good beds and two bathrooms. Walls dirty but otherwise very clean unit. You can hear some noice from the street but it didn’t bother us. The unit has one window to look out and one that has coloured glass so you can’t see through and this makes the unit dark. We didn’t care because we just needed a place to sleep and enjoyed the sceneries all day out hiking. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Le montagne blu YHA si trova vicino al treno e incredibili passi di bus. Ho preso un gruppo scolastico di 14 studenti del Duca di Edimburgo e tutti amavano l'esperienza. Camere pulite, sala spaziosa con fuoco e grande cucina comunale. Abbiamo usato il BBQ all'aperto per cucinare hamburger. Tutte le forniture sono state facilmente acquistate dal supermercato vicino alla porta. Ci hanno anche curati per un colazione speciale la nostra prima mattina. Certo che sarò di nuovo!

Questa è la seconda volta che sono rimasto qui ora. E' piuttosto buono, a parte alcune piccole cose. Sto rimanendo nella stanza 44 e ho notato quando sono arrivato c'era la forma sopra la mia porta all'interno che sarebbe stato considerato un pericolo per la salute. Letto ben fatto le tue biancheria sono ben posate ma le tavole laterali sono state molto marcate in cima. Diverse marcazioni sulle pareti. Il bagno aveva un po' di forma, così come altrimenti consiglio questo posto 50%

Unfortunately we started off on a bad foot when we had to wait in excess of an hour past our book in time for our room to be ready, then when we did finally get in, the TV remote wouldn't work and to turn it on manually meant it was stuck on one channel with no volume. Went back to reception and swapped batteries which didn't help, then we're told that thier maintenance people wouldn't be back until Monday so nothing they could do. To thier credit they did extend our check out time by an hour and provided breakfast at thier sister property in Katoomba. The property is in need of some TLC and to call them luxury apartments is a bit of a stretch, but they are in good condition overall. To access the studio lofts are up a rather tall flight of stairs that doesn't have a hand rail all the way, and the step treads are rather small (only just over half the length of my foot) which will make it very difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The room does have a kitchenette, but the only thing to cook with is a microwave, no hot plate or frypan included, so bring plastic wrap, paper towel etc with you, aswell as cutlery as there was only 1 knife, 3 forks and heaps of spoons. Room had a nice gas log fire place though we needed the a/con to help heat the room. Also a super sized 2 person spa that's so deep that if your not particularly tall you'll struggle to get in and out of. The shower is over the spa and with the weird uneven base, it makes it difficult to stand in to shower, aswell as a lack of grab rails anywhere.
