Hotel in zona Sarehole Mill Museum, Birmingham

Fabulous hotel in the heart of Birmingham. Walk is not too far to Broad street which is where we were headed. The decor is tastefully done and the pool table on the 1st floor was greatly enjoyed for a little bit of relaxation and competitiveness. Stayed in a Penter plus room on the 7rh floor and despite the lack of bath robe and slippers which it stated on trip, the room was modern, fresh, clean and comfortable.

Aveva fatto una notte qui, la stanza che mi era stata data era bella e spaziale, ma l'aria non funzionava, quindi mi sono trasferita in un'altra stanza più piccola, mi sentivo come se fossi ridotta a una stanza più piccola. Se solo potessero darmi la stessa spaziosa stanza che ho prenotato con un cone d'aria di lavoro, sarebbe stato fantastico.

the service was great , however the room itself was very small leaving no room to be able to move around. the bathroom door also had a huge hole cut out as a handle which we thought was odd. also 1 pillow which wasn’t very thick left it so that me and my friend didn’t get much sleep and woke up with pain in our necks . can’t fault the service though , the staff at the reception were lovely

Il personale era gentile e amichevole, la posizione era grande proprio vicino all’arena. Ci fu dato una stanza disabilitata che era grande e sul quarto piano, come ho chiesto un piano basso. Tuttavia, non avevo dormito perché le tende nette non si alzavano e gli avvisati non si tiravano giù. Il colazione era anche piuttosto caotico la mattina dopo, dovete letteralmente fare tutto da soli, ad esempio, fare le vostre bevande calde, tostare il vostro pane. Personalmente preferisco che sia cucinato per ordinare o almeno per loro per portarti una tosta e un caffè, che è quello che mi aspettavo per quasi 150 sterline per la notte. In generale, penso che sia troppo costoso e non mi fermerò di nuovo qui!

L'hotel è facile da raggiungere e la posizione è eccellente, come si trova su Broad Street, vicino alla Brindley Place, che ospita una vasta gamma di bar e pub. Quindi se si visita Birmingham per avere un bevuto, una notte fuori o un'occasione speciale, questo hotel è perfetto. Inoltre, ci sono parcheggi sul sito dietro l'hotel che è molto conveniente, purtroppo il parcheggio non è scontato per gli ospiti che si fermano all'hotel. Dopo aver aspettato in una piccola coda, abbiamo cercato di entrare alle 14:30 (mezz'ora prima di controllare in “aperture”) ci è stato detto che la stanza non era pronta. Questo non era un problema perché avevano il deposito bagagli disponibili. Possiamo tornare a controllare alle 16:00 e la coda era orribile. Non ho mai visto una coda così grande come questa per controllare un hotel prima. Ci aspettammo 20 minuti fino a che non ci siamo accolti. La stanza era spaziosa, pulita e ben attrezzata. Anche se ci erano tazze di caffè lasciate dietro Le tende sono state ingresse. La camera da letto era molto moderna e aveva una passeggiata in doccia. I letti erano incredibilmente confortevoli e avevano soccette di plug accanto al letto, che è un enorme plus, come non tutti gli hotel hanno questo. Fortunatamente, è stato un processo più rapido di check-out, perché si può solo ponire le chiavi nella casella di check-out espressa. In generale, un comodo soggiorno notturno nel cuore di Birmingham, purtroppo il check-in è stato orribile.

There is so much to unpack here when it comes to Selina Birmingham. Never again am I staying at this hellhole of a hotel. For a name like Selina, the hotel sure is nightmarish to stay at. It's shameful that the hotel shares the same name with my non-biological/cosplay partner. There is no breakfast but at least, the bedding, the pillows and the duvet are comfy (but most likely due to the fact that I’m tired) and the wi-fi is decent. Unfortunately, this is where the compliments stop, especially when the dorm rooms are so dark, you have to turn on the flashlight on your phone in order to see. Not to mention, there is no television in the room I was staying in. To make matters worse, the dorm room is cold, coupled with no heating. I honestly don't mind the cold most of the time but the room temperature is too cold for my liking. Speaking of the ground floor, the Korean receptionist told me that I'm not allowed to eat my food at a table at the cafe and told me to climb the stairs all the way to the third floor in order to eat my food. It isn't fair, considering the receptionist with the short, dark hair tends to allow me to eat my food at a table at the cafe during the very early hours of the morning. I eventually lost my patience and yelled at the Korean receptionist. It's rare when I lose my patience. I threatened in a growly voice with, ”I suggest you fill the pot noodle to the top with water unless you want a scathing, negative review to be blasted on the radio for everyone to hear?”. Finally, she got the memo. The rooms, bathrooms and toilets and facilities are unsanitary (for example, there are biscuit crumbs all over the bed sheets. I didn't know until I got out of bed), the entire hotel itself is not accessibility-friendly as if the lack of a lift and the staff not being accommodating towards disabled people such as myself isn’t of any indication, the kitchen and the kitchen equipment on the third floor are dirty, there is no hot water in some of the bathrooms within the dorm rooms, the bathrooms and the dorm rooms are shared (therefore, there is no privacy), the lights keep turning themselves off if you’re idle (I’m more used to turning on and off the lights on my own accord), you need to pay £10 for a padlock which is complicated for disabled people and the list goes on. The toilets, bathrooms, kitchen etc are just as dirty as Badea Faulkner and Olive Allison Brown from the Avanzar House in Middleton, Manchester not cleaning up after themselves. And don’t get me started on the staff being problematic. They aren’t very useful to the point where I had to shout at them due to their language barriers and them not listening to me, let alone understanding me. This is troubling for autistic people like me. Never in all my years have I encountered such frustrating hotel staff members. Compared to the other hotels I've stayed at in the past, the hotel staff in these hotels were never infuriating. If a lack of staff doesn’t tell you the appalling

È stata una splendida esperienza in Holiday Inn Express Star City per noi. In primo luogo, abbiamo fatto un errore di check-in in Holiday Inn Express nel centro della città dopo un lungo viaggio a Londra. Poi abbiamo guidato alla giusta. Ci siamo salutati con un sorriso grande quando siamo entrati nel lobby, siamo stati presentati sul supermercato vicino e così via. Durante il nostro soggiorno, tutti i membri del personale ci hanno sorriso, ci hanno salutati gentilmente e ci hanno accolti. La stanza era pulita e spaziosa, e la progettazione era adatta alle persone con sedie a rotelle. Il buffet di colazione comprendeva varie varietà.Mi piacevano i frutti, il pane e l'iogurt. In generale, questo hotel è altamente raccomandato per i visitatori con o senza auto.

La posizione dell'hotel è molto buona. La stanza è pulita e spaziosa e luminosa, perché c'è calore, quindi non si sente fredda.La stanza è completa, il cameriere è caldo e generoso, e la prossima volta avrà la possibilità di tornare.

The stay at Bromsgrove Hotel & Spar was a nice stay, receptionist was nice. The room was clean, big and comfortable had a nice tv and everything you need in the room. Only advice I would give to this hotel is prepare cups instead of paper ones. Apart from that everything was perfect. I would stay again.
