Overall it's a good place to stay and there's a good city view. However, it may be sometimes a bit noisy since there are some bars nearby. They play the music very loudly during the nighttime. The towel in our room has some obvious stains on it that I'm not very satisfied with the cleanliness.

The receptionists is rude and not friendly. There is very bad and damp smell mixed together in the room so I requested to change to another room due to I have asthma, but the receptionist is not happy and she is quite rude to me, she didn’t apologise for any inconvenience caused when I told her that the room with very bad and damp smell, she asked me what kind of bad smell so I asked her to go to the room to see what kind of smell. She is not willing to change to another room, I’ve booked a queen room and I asked her to change a double room, she said the room rate of double room is not the same as queen room and I need to pay extra to change a double room. I’ve checked online, queen room is more expensive than double room, I don’t understand why she asked me to pay extra. Finally she changed a double room to me without paying extra but I was not happy with her service. She is not helpful and making trouble instead of helping me to solve the problem. The double room is ok but very outdated. Location is not convenient. I am very disappointed.

The staff were polite and friendly, the location was great as right near the arena. We were given a disabled room which was large and on the 4th floor as I requested a low floor. However, I had no sleep as net curtains up and blind didn’t pull down. Also, breakfast was fairly chaotic the next morning. You literally have to do everything yourself eg make your own hot drinks, roast your bread. I personally prefer it cooked to order or at least for them to bring you toast and coffee, which is what I’d expect for nearly £150 for the night. Overall, I think it’s overpriced and I would not stay here again!

Express hotel without refrigerator.
Room price is reasonable and staff are nice.
Car park is at the back street of the hotel, not easy to find.

I'm sorry that my english is not good enough to understand what reception said, but I don't think that's the reason that the staff laughed at me when I didn't know how to respond the other staff. That's so disrespectful!!!

We used this hotel as a base to attend a concert at the nearby arena. This hotel is a great location for that!
Reasonably clean and comfortable.
As it’s situated on a busy street, we were nervous about potential noise from the nightclubs and people on the streets, but our 11th floor room was very quiet.

Location was great
Slight cleanliness issues **********s in the bathroom etc
Breakfast was manic but it was bank holiday!
Felt sorry for the staff as guests were leaving food on the floor on the canteen
The staff was doing the best they could!
