We stayed here this weekend, check in was smooth, arrived around 19:00. Was allocated room 135. Which was in line with the corridor door and the main front entrance, room was ok. There was a constant beep, unplugged everything and still beeping, reported to receptionist who advised this was the fire alarm panel which was on the other side off the wall as it have a fault it would constantly beep. The main door to the other rooms on the corridor of rooms constantly banged. How anyone could sleep in this room is beyond me, spoke to receptionist who advised this was a problem room!! Requested to move rooms but was told they were at 100% capacity and no rooms available, after a few minutes research I found I could book a room at this travel lodge for this night on there website. When I spoke to receptionist about this was told they always overbook: then 5 minutes later a random room was free!! They was room 129, although the banging of doors wasn’t to be heard, the bowling alley below was open till midnight & every bowl and bang could be heard! I would avoid this hotel due to noise etc. room was relatively clean. Bed comfy

The bathrooms are old and dirty, the bedding was dirty and had stains and pieces of hair on them. I did not want to spend my time there at all.

The Travelodge was spotless, very convenient for access to the City Centre, close to bus route and tram line.

Could have done with a blanket as bed was a bit cold. But overall was clean and tidy. We stayed for a concert at Utilita Arena and found the location to the concert easy to get to, and that the parking was so close. Staff were very friendly, Silva on reception was very helpful. We travelled from Hampshire and found it all easy to get to

Silvia was excellent, she kindly changed my room as my original room was a bit loud. She then also recommended the Nuffield Health gym as its £5 a session for travelodge guests. The rooms were clean and there were no issues inside either of the rooms.

Had a great nights stay here. Room was spotless and comfortable. Hotel staff are so friendly and helpful. The bar area is very nice and found myself wanting to stay there with my drink. Food is great also and plenty of choice at breakfast. Would recommend to stay here
