Ich Reise sehr viel, bin weltweit ca 150 Tage in Hotels . Von einem 5 Sterne Hotel hatte ich mehr erwartet . Positiv: die Lage direkt am Strand, Frühstück perfekt, Personal 1a . Nicht gefallen hat mir die Ausstattung der Zimmer : Einrichtung ok , elektrische Einrichtung veraltert (stand wie vor 20 Jahren ) Bad ok aber für 5 Sterne nichts besonderes, bed …. Na ja …. Man kann die Federn spüren . Kissen und Decke schon gewöhnungsbedürftig , Fahrstuhl defekt …..,., alles im allem würde ich sagen : 3 Sterne + aber mehr nicht . Es war kein Fehler dies Hotel zu buchen ( bei schönem Wetter 😉)

Proud price to pay for a place that has seen its peak many moons ago. Tired, worn without upgrades or the attempt of a “let’s be 5 star”. I do not know who gave this joint the star rating, but I give it a 3.5 max. They charge through the nose for a mostly terrible service. Table service at breakfast not existing. If you ask for something it becomes a job with an eye roll by the staff. Room we “purchased” … worn carpet, furnishings late 90’s, TV no internet capable old Samsung 40”, no cutlery with a mini bar containing nothing but a beer, a piccolo and a soft drink. Bedding is horrid and uncomfortable, sheets quilt are a total failure. It’s a bloody joke. Air con? Bathtub ? Functioning internet? Room clean up and fresh towels ..nada!!! Did I mention the parking? Park house is full … so park where you can if you step out later than 8pm. I don’t mind paying for a good hotel .. But this is surely a massive ripoff for what you get … and you need to wait for the check in til 4pm. My advise… well yes you guessed it. Run like smokin oakin.

Elegant modern Grand Hotel in Binz located at the end of the beachfront promenade. The walk into the town centre was kinda long. Otherwise the location was nice, across from the beach. The room was large and well appointed, only a few signs of wear and tear, like scratches on the furniture. Unfortunately the spots on the carpeting were many and large. The bathroom was bright and clean. Breakfast buffet was nice, and an individual choice of various egg dishes was available upon request. Big plus, the glass of sparkling wine to start the day.

I was very disappointed about my stay at Grando Hotel Binz. The pictures shown here and on the website don´t show the reality. The hotel has seen its best time years ago. From the rooms to the restaurant, everything looks a bit run down and shabby. The service was not great, not what you would expect in a 5 * hotel. Often not very friendly, not able to give information and often clearly overwhelmed. It was not possible book any SPA appointments like facials. Everything totally booked, although the hotel is putting his wellness offerings in focus on the website. The treatments in the Ayurveda package booked have been much shorter than on the website. When mentioning to the Ayurveda Dr he said March is not a good time to come. We should come back when they can show their real character. Also having red wine and chips in the room in the minibar while doing Ayurveda is kind of strange. So this was for sure the first and the last time at Grand Hotel Binz. Don´t be fooled by 5* and the name Grand Hotel

Such a great place and really enjoying our time here at Grand Hotel Binz They really know how to make your stay special and we were so fortunate to meet Lejla and Мартин (Martin) who really have taken us under their wings to make our stay perfect in so may ways. Thank you so much to them and the catering supervisor who have made this such a memorable experience. SHAKERS bar is exceptional with their quality spirits and atmosphere.... a definite surprise in Binz.... we will be back!!

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Unser Zimmer mit Terrasse war immer sehr sauber,wurde täglich gereinigt, Spa Bereich ebenfalls. Die Direktorin sehr nett und freundlich, man merkt wie wichtig ihr das Wohlbefinden der Gäste ist. Im Frühstücksraum war es ein bisschen chaotisch, was aber normal ist in der Hauptsaison. Die Lage des Hotels war super, sehr zentral aber ruhig!

Das Hotel liegt fast direkt am Strand und am Beginn der Uferpromenade Richtung Ortszentrum. Es gibt eine Parkgarage und Außenstellplätze. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und hatte einen Balkon mit Blick auf die Ostsee. Das Interieur ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt eher altbacken. Technisch aber alles einwandfrei, der Rest ist Geschmackssache. Es gibt einen Wellnessbereich, der Pool ist jedoch sehr klein und für Schwimmen nicht wirklich geeignet. Liegen sind im Innen- und Außenbereich vorhanden. Das Restaurant ist wunderbar und hat auch eine Terrasse mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten (z.B. Strandkörben). Eiergerichte können beim Frühstück bestellt werden, das Buffet lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Ich bin an meinem Geburtstag mit einem Glas Prosecco, Kerzenschein, Stoffservietten und Schmucksteinen mit happy Birthday empfangen worden und hatte nach einem Spaziergang eine Flasche Prosecco und ein herrlich leckeres Schokotörtchen auf dem Zimmer, das wir uns mit einem Cappuccino schmecken lassen. Wir haben uns von der Rezeption in unseren Plänen, die Insel zu erkunden, freundlich unterstützt gefühlt. Das Speiseangebot war vielseitig. Das Personal war freundlich und ich habe die Zeit genossen.

Mit 10 Personen waren wir Anfang Februar 2024 im Grand Hotel im Ostseebad Binz zum Brunchen. Wir waren keine Gäste des Hauses und waren begeistert, dass wir trotzdem dort schöne Stunden beim Frühstück zusammen verbringen konnten. Es gab alles, was das Herz begehrt. Die Generaldirektorin des Hauses, Frau Birte Löhr, hat sich sehr herzlich mit ihrer Crew um uns und all' die anderen Gäste gekümmert und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können allen anderen nur empfehlen, dort einmal zum Brunch einzukehren. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir dort auch übernachten und die Wellnessbehandlungen genießen.
