The Terraces Resort and Spa

It’s one of the most Fabulous places I’ve ever been to!! Mesmerizing views of the city and Whole stretch of the Himalaya!! The breakfast and restaurant are superb!! The Swimming pool heated up to 30C and whirlpool was amazing. Very much enjoyed the included sundowner drink and appetizer from the Helipad with superb views! The whole place is very clean and well decorated with a modern ZEN like vibe. The manager and staff are one of the most kind, helpfull and warm people I’ve ever met (and I travelled quite a lot). I am definitely coming back. Here and can VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND this luxury and most comfortable resort!! Also the included morning yoga sessions were wonderful!! And adding up to that, the included guided hikes in the surrounding forest and jungle were amazing!! It is such an incredible place in Kathmandu.

Unbelievably Amazing. Beautiful resort set in the foothills of the Himalayas high about a valley. Set in a pristine location, the service is impeccable. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and the rooms have plenty of space and every room with an incredible view. We came to run a half marathon which was very difficult and it was great to have a wonderful massage at the resort after the race.

A very nice view of kathmandu city and the mountains from the hill. Away from the hustle bustle of the city which is bit dusty because of the constructions. The Terraces has a very quiet, calm though I visited with family it would be great for young couples too. It has well maintained amenities like swimming pool, jacuzzi, badminton, TT, and indoor pool and caram. There is nice little walk around the property to Yoga and local kitchen bay. Its a walk close to the thick forest.

The Terraces Resort and Spa is nestled in the Hills in the Kathmandu Valley at a height of approximately 6,500 feet. Once you arrive here, be assured of enjoying spacious surroundings, fresh air, beautiful mountain and forest views, tastefully done interiors, amazing food, and an overall high level of hospitality. This is our second visit here in three months. The rooms are large, airy and come with a large deck to enjoy some sunshine and blue skies. The modern amenities include air conditioning, king sized bed, spotless clean bedding, and a modern bathroom equipped with fresh towels, shower gel, shampoo, lotion and handwash. There are free dental kits for those who need them, and a hair drier. It truly is a pleasure to stay indoors as well! Coming to the kitchen and restaurant, there is a wide range of food to choose from. Chef Deepak Mishra personally overlooks the clients requirements and we are totally impressed with the breakfast buffet, as well as the lunch and dinner menus. It's surely a treat to be in the midst of nature, surrounded by all you could possibly want! The resort has other amenities too, like a poolside bar, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and Koi Fish Pond, and Herb garden (where the kitchen requirements are sourced from), cycling, a Spa and Massage centre, Yoga room with an instructor, ATV bikes and cycles. There is also a wonderful recreation centre, which offers a small library, and indoor games like a pool table, carrom board, and other board games. There is a sunset view tea organized at the hotel's helipad, where we enjoyed Masala Chai with in-house bakery made snacks. There is no simply no room to feel bored here, as there's something for everyone. Definitely, one will not regret a stay at Terraces!

One of the best luxury rooftop stay in Kathmandu. The moment you step in through the gates the calming environment and hospitality of the staff is outstanding. The spacious rooms and services provided is 5/5. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Also the food is delicious. In particular my compliments to Roshan who has been exceptional. He was very attentive to our needs and always smiling and ensuring we were having a good time. We will definitely be visiting again! :)

Excellent service and resort! We had a lovely time. All the staff are attentive and caring. We would come back again for a few days longer. Roshan has been amazing! He has sorted arranged and communicated amazingly. The facilities are amazing.
