England's most northerly hotel, just 300 yards from the Scottish Border, the Marshall Meadows Manor House is set in 15 acres woodland gardens and features sea views and good food. Marshall Meadows Manor House is only 1 mile from Berwick-upon-Tweed, with its Elizabethan walls and its mainline railway station. The Berwickshire Coastal Path runs by the end of the hotel's grounds. Each room has a bathroom with a walk in showers. Other features include tea/coffee and ironing facilities. The restaurant has 2 levels, a wood-paneled mezzanine floor a ground floor with a high ceiling. Using fresh local ingredients, Restaurant 1782 offers seasonal menus to bring you the best culinary delights Northumberland and the Scottish Borders can offer. Open for lunch 12:00 to 15:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00 every evening for dinner. The Cocktail bar is open from 12:00 to 22:00 every day with a range of offerings from bar snacks, light lunches or Afternoon Teas. There truly is something for everyone.

Abbiamo mangiato in ristorante il primo dell’anno, con un menù deciso in anticipo. A parte il servizio, la qualità dei piatti è stata scadente (i piatti non erano né freschi né ben preparati) e sicuramente non all’altezza della categoria. Siccome abbiamo prenotato con tanto tempo in anticipo, le nostre aspettative sono rimaste deluse.

Beautiful location , friendly staff and amazing food . We stayed in a pod with hot tub and was very pleased with the quality . Super comfy bed , underfloor heating , lighting effects , mini fridge with complimentary drinks . Robes & slippers for coming out hot tub . Clean , modern and luxurious pod with beautiful views . Staff put up banners and balloon into pod before our arrival that I handed in first thing that morning as was a surprise stay for my sisters 50th . Would highly recommend a stay here .

We had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch here. Interesting menu, good food, pleasant staff, in a Georgian house with a view of the sea and sunshine - what more could you want for a Sunday lunch out? Also, to my relief, the vegetarian option wasn't a variant of risotto where every mouthful tastes the same!

Stay for 2 nights for family wedding. Experience could not have been better - location, room, dining and ambience was all first class. Will be returning soon for a more relaxed stay as a couple.

I stayed here for my friends’ wedding and overall had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. The building itself is stunning with lovely views, which made the wedding feel really special. That said, I wouldn’t give top marks due to the cleaning. As someone tall, I couldn’t help but notice dust on higher surfaces such as wardrobes, picture frames and light fixtures. In my room, I also struggled to open the window because of climbing plants/shrubbery outside. Overall, it’s a wonderful place for a wedding and I really enjoyed my time — just a little more attention to detail with cleaning and maintenance would make it perfect. I would come again

Attended a wedding at the venue Anne stayed the night. What a fabulous venue. Fantastic hospitality. Great food and a lush room with a sea view. Couldn’t fault our stay at all

We stayed here recently for a wedding, and honestly, it was nothing short of amazing! From the warm and welcoming staff to the incredible food and beautifully kept rooms, everything exceeded our expectations. Our two night stay included a fantastic Sunday deal with a delicious two course meal that made the weekend even more special. What stood out most was the staff despite how busy they were, they always found time to stop and chat with us, which made us feel truly valued. We will absolutely be returning and that Christmas package is already calling our names!

APPALLING....the photos are not at all reflective...the place is old and dated, the food is cold and the rooms are filthy - hair all over our carpet and a rotten smell also. We were bitterly disappointed.....not one to revisit!

Just found the place by chance when having a drive out. Very welcoming staff throughout. Room fabulous and even had a doggy welcoming pack for our little Jack Russell. The food was lovely. All in all we had a lovely night away for my wife’s birthday. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the future.
