Hotel a Berna, Svizzera

The hotel itself was clean and smart decorated. Comfortable and big bed, and a small kitchenette that facilitated the reparation of easy meals. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a smooth check, whereas check out was a breeze. An aldi supermarket was right in the corner. Bern Bahnhof and city centre was easily reachable. All in all, it was a pleasure staying there.

HOTEL AMBASSADOR BERN An ideal mix of good location, excellent staff & facilities We chose Hotel Ambassador primarily because it offered free parking service as we were travelling on rent-a-car and didn't have much idea about parking houses in Bern But the hotel turned out to be much better than our expectations. POSITIVES (+) The location is brilliant especially if you're new to the city. Close proximity to the tramp stop and ideally located in a neat, clean neighborhood. (+) I got a message from the hotel one day in advance summarizing all details of the stay and the city. Special thanks to Dominika Motykova who sent this message which really helped me book my free tramp tickets and get ready for the hotel stay (+) The staff and service are very good. Smooth check-in and check-out experience (+) I got a two bedroom option as we were a family of 2 adults and 2 children. This was really awesome as kids were independent and loving their own room (+) Views from the room especially with the barn and cattle side is breathtaking. Highly recommended to go for this view instead of city / old town view (+) Abel at the bar was very friendly and gentle during service hours in the evening. He chit chatted about our country, stay and gave advice on the tourist attractions. NEGATIVES (-) The hotel is slightly outdated in terms of infrastructure with old styled keys for opening doors, slightly old furniture & upholstery. The walls and carpeting inside the hotel is 90s styled. (-) The most painful aspect I experienced was the bed which was of poor quality with the mattress & pillows being really off. I was sleepless on both nights that I stayed here. (-) The pool is not heated and has limited space for people with only 4-5 beds and chairs (-) Access from basement parking to the main hotel is through a ringer which new comers may not know. No clear signage or messaging is written anywhere on how to go inside from the basement. I had to literally drag all the luggage by myself to the lobby for elevator access Overall, based on service / location / neighborhood, the place is Highly Recommended Rating: 8 / 10

PROS - Modern clean rooms with comfortable beds and reading lights. - Fast and easy route to the centre via the bus (free to guests!) - Black out blinds - Two bed apartment was very spacious - Laundry facilities (washer and dryer, 2 francs each) were really helpful, and clearly signposted - Parking including reasonably fast electric car charging - Concierge was available, helpful and very friendly. CONS - The air con was very slow even when turned up to the highest setting, and rooms were hot. Windows don’t open. - The breakfast was abysmal value. No fruit selection (just the usual bulk-bought fruit salad; it doesn’t cost much to put some apples and seasonal fruit in a bowl to choose from!). The scrambled eggs were rated inedible by the whole family. No baguette or whole loaves to slice, just large individual rolls and some white sliced processed bread.

The location of the hotel is located about 3-4 tram stops from the Bern station. There weren’t many amenities located in the vicinity of the hotel and they are mainly found 1-2 tram stops away. The good thing is that the city provides hotel guests with free tram transportation so you should ask the front desk about it. The room size was decent but not very big. The air conditioning did not seem to work very well and we had to open the window in winter to cool down the room. However, the minibar was complimentary and they provided apple juice, still water, sparkling water and beer (2 bottles each). The experience was generally consistent with that of a 4 star hotel and the price.

Struttura moderna; camera Design ampia e luminosa; bagno ben pulito, sufficientemente attrezzato, biancheria morbida; materasso e cuscini molto comodi; Internet WiFi gratuito; qualità del sonno eccellente anche se il rumore del traffico mattutino può risultare un po' fastidioso, nonostante la camera al piano terra sia abbastanza insonorizzata. Parking coperto sotto la struttura a CHF. 15 al giorno: scelta obbligata perchè -anche se un po' fuori dal centro storico - è impossibile trovare altre opportunità di parcheggio. Ogni ospite riceve il Bern Ticket gratuito che consente tra l'altro di utilizzare il praticissimo Bus della Linea 10 che puntualmente si ferma davanti all'Hotel ogni 15 minuti e porta in centro in soli 4 minuti e viceversa; in direzione opposta, in un minuto si raggiunge il Rosengarten, uno dei parchi più belli della città, punto panoramico perfetto per scattare fotografie. Professionale e cortese il personale alla reception.

Collocato in pieno centro storico, comodo x girare sia a piedi che per prendere i mezzi. Due posteggi x auto nelle immediate vicinanze con tariffe agevolate. Struttura rinnovata e camere family spaziose ben arredate, con vista sui tetti, angolo cucina, macchinetta nespresso, mini frigo, letti abbastanza comodi. Colazione internazionale nella media comunque soddisfacente. Roof bar con una bellissima view della città e ottimi cocktail. Personale gentile e disponibile, ambiente accogliente.

L'hotel è a tre (3)-4 (4) chilometri dalla città antica di Berna e a meno di un (1) chilometro dalla città nuova di Berna. Il buffet del colazione ha una grande selezione di cibo a un prezzo molto ragionevole. Abbiamo risparmiato molto aggiungendolo al nostro viaggio considerando che un pasto decente nei ristoranti vicini costa almeno 30 franchi. Le camere sono a posto quando si tratta di dimensioni, ma non ci sono riscaldatori, asciugacapelli, pasta dentale e spazzolino, solo le toilette di base sono fornite. In generale, ci siamo divertiti a Berna.

L'hotel è un nuovo elemento. Quando si trova il primo giorno, si incontra un problema, deve compilare molte informazioni personali online, gestire le carte di credito e causare insoddisfazione. Uno dei servizi di ricezione non è buono, ci dica che se non è soddisfatto, possiamo andare. Ma dopo il soggiorno, ho scoperto che la stanza era molto pulita, il suono era molto buono, tutti i tipi di oggetti erano semplicemente scontate. Ciò che conta è che la sede ha 24 ore di caffè gratis, e l'esperienza di soggiorno è molto buona

Un buon prezzo hotel, un piccolo treno a venti minuti dal centro della città.La reception è sempre così fredda che i problemi siano risolti in tempo. Invia un biglietto di un giorno alla città di Bernie per risolvere le spese di trasporto della visita.L'hotel e il centro commerciale sono collegati, e il cibo non è affatto un problema.C'è anche un enorme progetto di divertimento in piscina che può essere utilizzato gratuitamente.
