Hotel in zona Sigismundkorso Grünanlage, Berlino

Eine Nacht war im Wyndham Garden Hennigsdorf gebucht, wir freuten uns darauf. Schon beim Einchecken gegen 16:00 am 09.04.22 mussten wir das gebuchte Doppelzimmer sofort bezahlen. Wir hatten es noch nicht bezogen weder gesehen. Auf Befragen warum ich sofort bezahlen muss, erhielt ich keine akzeptable Erklärung. Vermutlich traute man uns was Schlimmes zu. Der Weg zum Zimmer 220 war mit schwarzen Teppich ausgelegt. dieser war total fusselig und dreckig. Im Bad stand ein Abfalleimer, der von unten her total verrostet war. Einfach abstoßend. Eine Decke war nicht ordentlich bezogen. „Dank dessen“ sah ich die darunter befindliche Decke mit riesengroßen dunklen Flecken - es war eklig, einfach unglaublich, was mir als Gast angeboten wurde. Sofort meldete ich mich an der Rezeption. Ich wollte meine Mängel dem Mitarbeiter persönlich zeigen, dieser gab an, allein zu sein und nicht weg kann. Er gab mir den Schlüssel für die 216. Unsere Nacht in diesem war nicht schön, denn ständig hörte man den Wind durch das Zimmer blasen. Es ist unbeschreiblich, denn das war so die ganze Nacht. Man sagte uns am nächsten Tag, dass das Laminat im Zimmer daran schuld ist. Der Aufenthalt war sehr schrecklich und wir waren so was von froh, dass wir nach einer Nacht wieder das Hotel verlassen konnten. Unsere Feststellungen haben wir fotografiert! Vielleicht möchte das jemand von der Geschäftsführung sehen. Unvorstellbar ist, dass dieses Haus 4 Sterne hat (2019 - Juni 2022). Ich habe diese Sterne nicht gefunden! Nie mehr werde ich einen Fuß in dieses Haus setzen.

What a find! Not the best of areas but the hostel is very modern, super clean and tidy. Breakfast on offer too. Great selection of cold meats and cheeses. Croissants, yoghurt, cereals etc. Free coffees and teas from the urn although ' fancy' coffees and teas were available from behind the reception. Super WiFi. 5 min walk to the u bahn station. Great location. I will definitely be back.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per tre motivi. Uno era il parcheggio gratuito, l'altro era l'aria condizionata e il terzo la grandezza della stanza. Partiamo dal parcheggio, l'hotel non ha un suo parcheggio, ci sono dei parcheggi gratuiti di fronte all'albergo e se trovate posto bene altrimenti peggio per voi. Fate conto che anche in piena notte i parcheggi erano tutti occupati, quindi va molto a fortuna, io dopo un'attesa di un'ora sotto il sole sono riuscito a parcheggiare la macchina proprio di fronte all'hotel. Capitolo aria condizionata, se la mettete tra i servizi offerti DEVE FUNZIONARE altrimenti basta toglierla dai servizi dell'hotel e uno se ne va da un'altra parte. Trovo molto scorretto far arrivare un cliente in struttura e non informarlo neanche del disservizio PRIMA del check in. Quando sono andato a lamentarmi mi è stato detto che funzionava ma bisognava aspettare che raffreddasse la stanza, non era vero, abbiamo passato due notti con un caldo infernale, abbiamo dovuto dormire con la finestra aperta tra luci, rumori del traffico e zanzare che ci hanno torturato. Praticamente non abbiamo mai dormito. Come me si sono lamentati anche altri clienti con lo stesso problema, la risposta era sempre la stessa. Alla fine di tutto non ci hanno neanche offerto, che so, una bottiglia d'acqua fresca o la colazione o al limite uno sconto per farsi perdonare del grave disservizio, hanno semplicemente fatto finta di niente. Secondo me un comportamento del genere non si può giustificare da parte di un albergatore, se si ha un problema all'impianto ok ci sta, tutto si può rompere, nessuno vi condanna per questo, ma bisogna informare con onestá i clienti PRIMA che paghino o quantomeno mettersi a disposizione per compensare il disagio in qualche modo, far finta di niente non aiuta e anzi se devo dirla tutta mi sono sentito anche preso in giro. In ogni caso non sono io che devo insegnarvi il mestiere, queste cose un albergatore dovrebbe capirle da solo. Passiamo alla stanza, in effetti molto grande, comoda, bagno più che soddisfacente, peccato per la moquette che dà sempre quella sensazione di sporco anche se poi magari non lo è, probabilmente è una tara di noi italiani non sopportare tale pavimentazione. I collegamenti col centro di Berlino sono a dir poco eccellenti. Praticamente di fianco all'albergo, sullo stesso marciapiede, si trova la fermata di Siemensdamm, con uno o due cambi si arriva comodamente in centro. Intorno all'albergo ci sono vari ristoranti, caffetterie e supermercati, quindi tutto sommato la posizione è molto buona, almeno per quelle che erano le nostre esigenze. Segnalo la presenza di un piccolo frigo in camera, cosa assolutamente non scontata. Do due pallini a questo albergo anche se sono stato tentato di darne uno solo, perchè tutto sommato a parte il problema dell'aria condizionata e la difficoltá a trovare parcheggio per il resto la struttura non è tra le peggiori che abbia visitato, se l'aria condizionata avesse fatto il suo d

Albergo vecchio stile. Molto accogliente. Molto adatto anche a molte persone. Il personale è molto accomodante. Le camere sono grandi e ben attrezzate. La colazione a buffet veniva sempre rifornita e offriva tutto ciò che rende una buona colazione. Ci siamo sentiti molto a nostro agio. S-Bahn e autobus nelle immediate vicinanze

By the time this incident happened, I have already completed a 4 days stay in the hotel and was willing to increase my stay. For that purpose, I went to Mrs. Hausweld and asked to please consult the availability and the price of the rooms for extra nights. In response, I was told that the final price, including the city tax for 3 additional nights would be 350 euros with breakfast included. Consequently, I was willing to go along with that reservation and requested to pay by card. Afterward, then Mrs. Hausweld offered me the POS terminal to go along with the payment, and the amount ascended to 419 euros. Due to that unexpected difference, I kindly asked for an explanation and was told that 419 euros were the final price, and if I was not happy with it I would need to leave the hotel immediately. As a result, I kindly refused to pay that amount and asked her to please consult the price for two nights instead of three. In response to that, the front desk manager told me that no more rooms were available for me and that I needed to check out now and leave the hotel. Following that conversation, I went on Booking.com and reserved a room for the same days, without breakfast, and surprisingly rooms were still available. Next, I went to the front desk and asked to please pay for my booking Mrs. Hausweld looked at me in an unfriendly manner and told me she could not find any reservation. After 5 minutes of searching, she could finally open my booking. Then, although I already provided a credit card in my booking, she asked me to show it to her because she was not believing that it was not mine. I answered that the card was in effect mine and offered her to have a look, but it did not have any numbers on it. So she got ahead to request me to write down my credit card details, including the CVV code, on a piece of paper as ”a security”. Afterward, I was asked again by her if I would like breakfast or not, despite I selected the no breakfast option on booking.com. A moment later I was offered the POS terminal to pay by card, which stated an amount 30 euros higher that the price I booked the room for on this site. Due to the reoccurrence of the same, previous situation again, I refused to pay and respectfully asked her why the price was higher again. Mrs. Hauweld answered in a very disrespectful manner that I asked her to have breakfast included and that I was confusing her again. After that situation, I kindly asked them to speak with her supervisor. She answered, that she had no supervisor and was the only person working in the hotel for the whole weekend. That experience left me in complete disbelief of her professionality and her being in that important role in the hotel. However, despite that bad experience with that particular staff member, I would like to note that the other front desk managers were very friendly and helpful at all times.

Le cose prima del check-in e dopo il check-out possono essere lasciate solo in deposito a pagamento per 4/6 euro, si prega di tenerne conto al momento della prenotazione. Ho vissuto in questa rete in altre due città e lì non c'erano problemi del genere. Ci è stato offerto un drink di benvenuto a base di birra o vino. C'è un bar al primo piano, non puoi avere una cucina con i tuoi appunti, quindi bevi i tuoi drink per strada. La stanza in sé è spaziosa, 4 letti, ci sono le tende, la stanza è calda, ci sono molti bagni sul pavimento, ma vengono puliti dalle 10 alle 00, sono chiusi durante la pulizia, poco prima del check-out, e avevo per cercare un altro bagno. Ingresso al piano e alla camera tramite chiave elettronica, per la quale è richiesta una cauzione di 2 euro. La colazione viene servita a 7 euro, io non l'ho presa, l'ha presa il mio amico e non l'ha apprezzata.

This is a modern functional hotel (which we booked via BA holidays) apparently popular for conferences, so you get the picture. Four of us went for a city break. The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of Gendarmenmarkt. Spittelmart U-bahn is 2 minutes away. Easy and welcoming check-in. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower although the wash basin had the depth of a birdbath. What was surprising was the amount of wasted space in the bedroom with a great void between the bed and the door which could have been used for some proper drawers and shelves. As it was, there was only 1 drawer and 3 shelves, one of which was useful only if you were 2 metres tall (see photo). The wardrobe, if you could call it that, was an open hanging space, but it was situated at right angles to a padded seat (see photo) making accessibility difficult and there was only one chair in the room. Tea-making facilities were available but instant coffee only and powdered milk. We used to take a small jug of milk from breakfast and keep it in the fridge. There was a very good and comprehensive breakfast with just about everything one could want. As a morning tea drinker I cannot comment on the coffee which came from a machine, but there was an excellent selection of leaf teas. The hot food was OK, but nothing cooked to order so that eggs were either warm scrambled or hard boiled. Staff were very helpful and dishes promptly refilled. We didn’t use the restaurant for dinner as the menu looked pretty basic but there are restaurants within walking distance. All in all, nothing special but I would still recommend it for a short stay.

Ho visitato recentemente questo hotel con il mio ragazzo e sono stato molto impressionato. Abbiamo arrivato poco prima dell’iscrizione e ci è stato permesso di andare in camera nostra. La camera era molto spaziosa con un letto estremamente confortevole e una doccia sorprendente. Anche l'ultimo giorno il nostro volo non era per un po' e avevano il permesso di aspettare nel lobby dopo l'uscita, che aveva bellissimi divano e posti a sedere, era tranquillo e c'erano persone che lavoravano. Il personale era molto lodevole e grande per il prezzo.

L'Estrel Berlin è un hotel impressionante. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli. Il servizio è professionale e precondizionato. Il buffet per colazione offre una vasta selezione di cibi deliziosi. La posizione dell'hotel è conveniente, vicino ai mezzi di trasporto pubblico e alle attrazioni. In generale, un hotel consigliabile per un piacevole soggiorno a Berlino.
