Numa I Boxer Rooms and Apartments

First of all, I stayed in a room with a noisy and disgusting ventilation issue that ran 24/7 (even at night, even when everything was turned off). It was almost impossible to relax, and getting used to it was out of the question. I contacted their 'support', and they kept saying they would fix it "today," then "tomorrow," and then "next week." I wasn’t offered ANY compensation or solution or a room change. To make matters worse, they are incredibly annoying - their bots spam you on WhatsApp, Airbnb, and even through their own app, constantly "asking for feedback." But when it comes to actually solving an issue, they’re completely useless. There were even sneaker marks in the shower. Sure, it’s cheap for Berlin and has its perks - if you are happy to not have issues in the room. But honestly, it’s better to avoid it :)

Great location for clubbing, walking distance of berghian and watergate. Some cool bars and restaurants in area. Lots of vinyl shops and cafes etc. Super easy to check in and check out. Quiet and clean with all necessary facilities in Apartment

The manager of Numa contacted us 3 days before check in (we booked the apartment 1 month before the trip!!!) telling that unfortunately the room is not ready and they have to cancel our reservation. We contacted Booking's support and they said that Numa had problems with overbooking and that was the main reason of cancelation. Thanks for the lost vacation and money!

Our accommodation was cancelled by Numa a day before our arrival! Numa couldn’t care less for the last minute cancellation, leaving us having to find new accommodation at higher prices They are so unprofessional they didn’t even make the minimal effort to host us in one of their other properties Don’t trust them, worst service ever with no accountability or empathy Horrible

Almodovar Hotel offered a quiet and soothing atmosphere amidst of a vibrant area. Perfect place for discovering the city. The rooms are beautiful, staff always happy to help. Enjoyed it a lot, thanks!

The bed was uncomfortable – it is comprised of two single beds pushed together, meaning that there is a dip in the middle, and the right bed on mine was completely unsupportive and more slanted into the middle than the left, meaning I woke up with back ache and had a rough night's sleep. When I politely told the receptionist this the next day she just smiled and answered "okay". So much for customer service. Also, I booked a courtyard room to get some peace and quiet, but I was woken fairly early by what sounded like housekeeping hammering on the ceiling above. I assume they were moving and changing beds, but it was ridiculously loud and surely they don't need to slam around so much and could have more consideration for guests. So if you're unwell or need a lie in, you won't get it here. It's a shame because it was so quiet the evening prior. The third negative point is that the hotel lacks atmosphere or warmth. The restaurant was empty and the service brisk, which only adds to the cold and somewhat clinical atmosphere - a little like what you may experience staying at a hostel for a much cheaper price. The food is overpriced so I didn't eat here at all. Overall, this hotel is not worth it and I'm sure there are nicer hostels you could stay at. Saying that, the main positive is that due to being an eco hotel, the room is furnished with natural materials and does not have a chemical smell from strong cleaning products, as you might find in other hotels. The lighting in the room was also pleasant.
