Myer's Hotel Berlin

住了兩晚，床單就算了，毛巾沒有換新的，早餐在同等價位、同樣也是走精品小旅店的其他家店相比更差、服務人員的素質也是，餐廳的服務員除了打招呼根本不會理你，前台雖然友善，但不專業，尤其一位女的，情緒管理能力讓我懷疑她有精神問題，我禮貌詢問打印、她不會打，卡在其中一個步驟，其實好好説自己不會就行了，她偏偏語氣突然拔高、很大聲的重複：這就是我不會的地方！重複好幾次，不知道的人還以為我跟她吵架呢…情緒管理能力有問題的人怎麼可以在一個號稱自己4星酒店的前台工作，我反正覺得太離譜了，也把我嚇到了。

Tired of cookie-cutter hotel stays? Then this is your place in Berlin! The rooms are very comfortable, and are decorated in the style of a long gone era where comfort came first. Located in somewhat of a residential area, the hotel is very close to the trolley stop and bus stop (therefore making easy connections to U-bahn and S-bahn) , but also within walking distance of some interesting local restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent (loved those crepes!), offering good quality along with variety common at European hotels - something for everyone. I wish we had been able to stay longer and enjoy Myer's amenities along with enjoying incredible Berlin.

This was the absolute PERFECT place to stay during our recent trip to Berlin. To begin, I made our reservation through a third party. When I emailed the hotel to verify our trip, I learned the third party had booked the wrong room for us. The hotel was very friendly and offered documentation about the error and when I reached out to the third party they verified the error was indeed theirs and offered to refund the charges. I was so impressed with the customer service from Myers, I rebooked directly through them. When we arrived in Berlin, the excellent customer service continued. Our room, located on the 4th floor, was clean, quiet, spacious, comfortable and had an unexpected view of the TV tower. The breakfast each morning was amazing-- such a great way to start the day. There were so many choices, and as a tea drinker, one of the best tea setups I have EVER enjoyed. (My husband who drinks coffee said it was equally outstanding.) The hotel is minutes from a tram in one direction and a U-Bahn station in the other. There are so many restaurants nearby-- I can't imagine a better location to stay. The hotel also has bicycles you can rent for a very reasonable fee and we used the bikes multiple days to explore the city (Berlin is bike-friendly... and you can take them on the trains with you, as well.) We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Myer's Hotel Berlin. From the moment we arrived to ask if we could leave our suitcases we were given a warm welcome by Knut at reception. What a friendly and interesting guy. Knut gave us a beautiful room and kindly allowed us to check in straight away even though we were early. The decor of the whole hotel is beautiful and our room was classic with Tiffany style lamps, marquetry style furniture and a lovely view of the gardens. The bed was so comfortable and the generous times for breakfast of 7 - 11 meant we could be more leisurely in the cool respite of the hotel during the 37° August heat.  And what a breakfast it was, everything you could possibly need - cold meats, smoked fish, salads, breads, cheeses, cereals, juices, fresh fruit and yogurts, hot sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs, pancakes and even black forest gateaux. The coffee was very good and the lady at breakfast was really friendly. On our last day the gentleman at reception (I think his name was David) kindly let us leave our luggage while we explored Berlin a bit more before our flight, and we were impressed with the very generous checkout time of 12 lunchtime.  The Myer's Hotel Berlin has quickly become our favourite European hotel and we will never stay anywhere else when we are in Berlin. We stayed here for 5 nights in early June, time enough to really assess a hotel. Myers excelled. The front desk staff, especially David, are super friendly, efficient and helpful. Their suggestions for nearby restaurants all proved excellent. We started every evening with a drink in their bar/lounge, the decor exuding the ambience of old Berlin. Breakfast in an airy space was ample. We had a sizable and quiet room overlooking a courtyard. The Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood is a fascinating example of the gentrification of what was part of the former East Berlin. Metzer Strasse, the hotel’s street, is tranquil and verdant, but Schönhauser Allee and Kollwitz Strasse, both nearby, are teeming with stores and restaurants. All in all, a lovely taste of a great city without being overwhelmed by the noise and bustle of its tourist center.

The sense is historic, the staff members were great, and the hotel is high tech. Bathrooms are great! Breakfast was a good start to the day. The members of the front desk team were exceptionally good at helping us. The gave us special care and service.
