Abbiamo soggiornato qualche giorno in questo bellissimo Hotel a Berlino in occasione di un Congresso Professionale. Architettura Liberty magnificamente restaurata, arredi molto eleganti, atmosfera molto tranquilla e lussuosa, ambienti luminosi ed ampi. Sala colazione affacciata sul giardino, colazione ricchissima sia dolce che salata. Piscina, centro fitness, SPA. Suite arredata da Karl Lagerfield di grande impatto. Veramente un soggiorno indimenticabile. Abbiamo cenato al Bar qualche volta scegliendo piatti leggeri ma di grande gusto. Personale gentilissimo e preparato, sempre presente ad ogni richiesta.

It remains one of the best “boutique”-hotels I know about, while since 1-2 years seemingly in some kind of economizing mood/ mode. Unfortunate lu the classy Currywurst seems to have disappeared from the bar menu. The fire place was not on either. Better to find the footing and then start to speed up again. Anyway, I will be there soon again/Sushi

After trying to get in touch with Hotel Management we see no other option to post here. Our complain is nearly endless here are the main topics: - Room for booked for 3 persons, we got towels, shampoo etc. for 2 persons only. - Aircondition not working - Swimming pool not open Sunday morning @ 9,40 despite it should open @ 8.00. - "Free" minibar only equiped with water and juice, if you call it a bar it shall include wine, beer, snacks. Free water is normal in hotels and not part of free minibar. - Restaurant menu, service and price level not to our expectation, we have never been in hotel were it cost extra to get fried egg or pancakes for breakfast. - No room service menu so we could call for the missing items in so called minibar. - At least 2 of the staff acted more as comedian than their actual job, we came for high class discrete service not for jokes and clowns. - In the 2 days we didn't see any kind of management on site, no one asked how is your stay, how is the food.

No hot water in the shower! Called in the morning and got the classic “We’ll investigate and call you back.” Spoiler alert: no callback. Returned in the afternoon, and surprise, the same routine. Yes, it was Sunday in Germany during the Europe Cup soccer finals, but that’s no excuse. If you can’t provide basic services and can’t fix the problem, the least management could do is offer a discount or free accommodation. Just some basic management advice here.

I stayed one night at this luxury hotel to test it and come back with my partner or family. And I won’t. Too many issues, unacceptable for the price and expected level of this hotel. First, if you book a Premium room, it is quite basic. You have to go Deluxe or more for a recently refurbished room. Mine was on the ground floor, old style, with no electric plugs but the bed, and no curtains in the bathroom. The bicycle for rent at 20€ rate per day was not cleaned before being allocated to me. In the spa, there was no one to be reached at 9am to manage lights being off and an old apple core left in a locker … Bad impressions.

Rude and uproffesional blonde lady with glassws on reception (6.3.) Closed pool, closed bar and restaurant due to private event. You have to pay for eggs on the reception as well as well for the coffee or fresh mint tea. Amex building with Old used rooms. Not recommend at all

I don’t understand how this is a “retreat” or a 5 star. Staff are friendly but that doesn’t make up for the shortfalls. None of the luxury or attention to detail you would expect from a 5* - no coffee or tea making facilities, no minibar, minimal toiletries, curtains that look fancy but let the light in, noisy cleaning outside the room early every morning, a very basic (and empty) restaurant with very slow service, room service meals delivered cold, a nice bar but no atmosphere (except for the private karaoke function going on in the adjacent room) and 10€ every time you order something to the room (€22 for a morning coffee, €22 for two bottles of tonic,…). The pool is ok (apart from the bits of tissue floating around in it) but small (as is the sauna); the grounds are small and overlooked by houses. There is nothing around other than the forest and two decent restaurants so if you’re staying for more than a night or two you have to go to the city - a €40 trip. So unless you have a car and are just staying for a night or two I really can’t see the appeal of this place nor what it is really trying to be. Sorry, but it was definitely a mistake to book this. So for me neither a “retreat” nor 5 star sadly.

Massively overpriced, there are better options in Berlin. We went after our wedding and had to have room service as they had shut the restaurant with no email pre-warning. Room service was one of three options including a burger, a club sandwich or a bowl of pasta. Very chic. The food was tough, late and overpriced. Quite the combo. The spa looks spacious on the pictures, it is not and a bit of a death trap. There are limited safety mats to prevent slipping and I fell down the stairs and bruised my derriere and back meaning we were basically room bound. When I told reception they were non-fussed. There was also no shuttle taxi to get us out of there after, although this was advertised. We have emailed twice to let them know it was not a great experience and have been ignored so after sales care is pretty lax too. The decor is a bit try hard new money, if you like that sort of thing then its ok I suppose.

Spectacular hotel. We really enjoyed this one. Good location. Beautiful inside. Big and well decorated rooms. We had a problem with our car and they helped us solve It. Breakfast was really good as well.

Had an amazing stay in a luxurious fantastic boutique hotel in the quiet suburbs of Berlin. The staff were excellent a particular thank you to the concierge Mr Kesisoglu who bent backwards to help us have a wonderful stay in Berlin. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The pool, bar at night were wonderful. Would definitely come back again.

The Schlosshotel in Grunewald is a lovely hotel in Berlin. Especially during the Pre-Christmas season. A fireplace bar where you can enjoy a glass of Rioja Crianza after visits to the Christmas Market is an unforgettable pleasure. Everything else, from rooms to cuisine and service, is of such high quality that it can all be summed up in one word: excellent!

The Schloss itself is amazing in architectural impressiveness. It has a warm feel to it as soon as you enter it's luxurious interiors. The food is good though the breakfast offering outstanding. The cocktail bar was a must go to every evening with perfect mixes and selections. Finally the staff who made our stay so memorable, everyone keen to ensure our needs were met with grace and alacrity. Special mention must be made of Levon and Yaroslava both of whom went beyond our expectations and are a credit to themselves and the Company. A unique hotel for discerning travellers who don't want the usual hotel chain experience. Highly recommended.

Wir wollten ein wunderbares Wochenende in Berlin verbringen…. Vorab das wirklich Positive, tolles Ambiente Innen, klasse Team an der Bar, sehr guter Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, schön renoviertes Schwimmbad - aber das war es auch schon…. Es fängt an mit keinerlei Hilfe beim ein- und auschecken, keinerlei Hilfe bei der Technologie des Zimmers, Wasser wird nicht nachgefüllt nach der 1. Nacht…. Gefolgt von den völlig ungepflegten Außenanlagen, Flächen abgesperrt wegen unprofessional eingesätem Rasen (kein Geld für einen Gärtner & Rollrasen?), ekelhaft dreckigen Sonnenschirmen auf der Terrasse, um nur die Auffälligsten zu nennen. Total enttäuscht hat uns aber das Frühstück!!! So eine geringe Auswahl, auch so schlecht schmeckender Zubereitungen wie Humus oder Guacamole, habe ich noch in keinem Hotel, in dem wir je waren, erlebt! Joghurt nur in Bechern, wenig Wurst - und Käseauswahl, für ein Rührei 10 EURO…, der Kaffee dünn dass man durchsehen konnte (auf Nachfrage - es käme irgendwann ein Techniker… ) Filterkaffee als Ersatz gab es gar nicht erst…..etc…. Und was völlig fehlt, bei wirklich netten, freundlichen und bemühten Teilen des Personals ( und nur deswegen 3 Sterne statt 2) ist eine optische „corporate Identity“ , jeder in eigener schwarzer Hose , weißem Hemd, irgendwelchen Sneaker, aber jeder anders - auch hier, in einem Hotel einer vermeintlichen Qualität gehört für mich echte Dienstkleidung dazu! Aber das Schlimmste, finde ich, war, dass diese (und noch viele mehr) Kritikpunkte, hier schon seit Längerem auftauchen, wenn man andere Beurteilungen liest, und offensichtlich will der jetzige Inhaber gar nichts ändern! Es wird mit der alten Herrlichkeit den Gästen viel Geld aus der Tasche gezogen ( wir haben mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 kleinen Kindern an der Bar abends mit Snack und ein paar Drinks 350 Euro bezahlt!) und will in Wirklichkeit nur noch damit Geld abschöpfen! Bei deutlich niedrigerem Preis und mehr Service kämen Gäste vielleicht wieder …. So kann man aber nur noch mit treuen Stammkunden langfristig überleben!

Am o.g. Datum war ich im Rahmen einer Veranstaltung Gast in diesem Hotel. Angeblich kam es bei der Bezahlung der ersten Bestellung mittels Kreditkarte in Höhe von 24 Euro zu einem technischen Problem (Verbindung wurde angeblich unterbrochen), sodass die Summe angeblich nicht gutgeschrieben wurde. Der Onlinenachweis, dass dieser Betrag bei mir bereits abgebucht wurde, wurde vom Personal nicht akzeptiert. Am Ende der Veranstaltung kamen noch 14 Euro als Bestellung dazu, sodass mir nochmals 38 Euro in Rechnung gestellt wurden, die ich diesmal problemlos mit der gleichen Kreditkarte bezahlen konnte. Der zuständige Barchef an diesem Abend versicherte mir, dass die 24 Euro bei mir wieder gutgeschrieben würden. Dies ist nicht erfolgt, mein Konto wurde mit beiden Beträgen belastet. Mehrere Versuche, dieses Problem mit dem Management zu klären, scheiterten. Erst bei Androhung einer anwaltlichen Vertretung in dieser Angelegenheit wurde reagiert und eine Klärung zugesichert. Nichts passierte und ich intervenierte wiederholt. Als Nachricht kam dann, dass eine Rückerstattung angeblich erfolgt sei. Der hinzugefügte Beleg erwies sich als Fake, eine Rückerstattung erfolgte nicht. Wiederum wurde anwaltliche Vertretung angekündigt. Die Reaktion der Geschäftsführung war, dass es angeblich ein Bankproblem gab (bei 24 Euro!) und die Rückerstattung jetzt über ein Schwesterhotel in Berlin erfolgen soll. Dies ist am 26.09.2024 dann nach 6 Wochen Hin und Her auch erfolgt Insgesamt war die Behandlung dieses von mir nicht verursachten Problems durch das zuständige Personal nicht von Professionalität gekennzeichnet. Man kann sich des Eindrucks nicht erwehren, dass selbständiges Handeln der Geschäftsführung durch irgendwelche Gründe stark eingeschränkt ist. Die mögliche Ursache mag jeder für sich beurteilen.
